The authors analyze the problems of online educational discourse in the context of the linguocognitive conflict of the «pre-digital» and «digital generations» in connection with mediated communication during the COVID‑19 pandemic. Today, society has actualized hidden socio-cultural conflicts that have increased the disharmonious influence on the implementation of online educational discourse in a situation of prolonged self-isolation and lockdowns. The authors distinguish a separate subtype of educational discourse-online educational discourse, it is the result of an interactive process of interaction of subjects in an indirect educational space of an online format, within which intercultural, interpersonal communication, a diverse verbal-paraverbal exchange of information using digital means of communication is carried out. At the same time, the possibilities of the language of the participants of educational communication are evaluated in the context of expressing their communicative intentions. The situation of the pandemic has updated the features in the decoding of information in the «digital generation». The specifics of the speech-thinking activity of the «digital generation» are a pseudo-psychopatholinguistic phenomenon, which requires new approaches to online educational discourse in the formation of competencies. The new situation requires the allocation of other parameters for the psychodiagnostics of norm and pathology in the work of the language and brain. Humanity is looking for compromises for the full-fledged formation of various competencies based on language, using online educational dialogue as optimal in terms of survival during a pandemic. The specifics of the language behavior of the «digital generation» reflect a different type of thinking than that of the representatives of the «pre-digital generation». The article reflects the results of an international study on the formation of students ‘ communicative competence using online educational discourse during the COVID‑19 pandemic

The article discusses the pedagogical feasibility of using innovative intellectual immersive technologies in the educational process, corresponding to the pace and needs of digital society development. The features of teaching the digital generation of students are highlighted. The specificity of educational and cognitive activity and the peculiarities of the development of cognitive interest in future IT-specialists in the process of studying specialized disciplines are determined. It is proposed to consider a constructivist approach to learning, which implies the creation of a modal, functional, communicative learning environment, which, in turn, contributes to the self-construction and development of student’ own cognitive trajectory. Arguments are given in favor of the use of Augmented Reality (AR) technology in teaching “digital natives” studying in the IT-field (direction of training 09.03.01 “Informatics and Computer Engineering”). Empirical data are presented that prove the positive influence of educational AR-content on the level of student engagement. The coefficient of student engagement is a quantitative characteristic to assess the state of interest in the educational material in the discipline “Computer Networks and Telecommunications”. The student engagement rate was established by collecting subjective data, which are not directly observable, and are revealed in the course of students’ self-assessment of their learning activities.

Intolerance phenomenon that is currently happening in Indonesia requires a quick and precise response and involvesvarious parties. Universities as a miniature of the diversity of the Indonesian nation need to make a series of efforts toimprove multicultural understanding so that they can produce students who are friendly to diversity, and view differencesas a necessity as well as a gift from God. This research, conducted through library research, discusses the interconnectionbetween Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan and Bahasa Indonesia courses to build multicultural understanding of studentsliving in the digital era. The results of the research indicate that the interconnection between Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan and Bahasa Indonesia courses can be an alternative strategy to build multicultural understanding of the digital generation, especially when the substance of Bahasa Indonesia is embedded in the subject matter, i.e. the dynamics of national and state life, national identity, and integration, as well as synergies for the prosperity of the nation packaged creatively and innovatively through a digital campaign.

The art movement known as Afrofuturism uses various forms of artistic expression to create speculative fictions linking African-Americans’ ancestral past with envisioned, utopian futures. In the process, Afrofuturists shift the narratives that influence African-Americans’ lives from narratives of oppression to narratives that re-imagine a world in which African diasporic culture is at the center of social life. In previous analyses of the significance of Afrofuturism, however, the voices of actual artists are glaringly absent. Current public uprisings and demands for social reforms provide new opportunities for elevating Afrofuturism’s traditional emancipatory themes across digital platforms with a global reach. Using a critical race theoretical lens, this multimodal anthropological study focuses on the voices of contemporary Afrofuturists at the intersection of Afrofuturism, social injustice, and digital technology.

This paper presents a generalized framework for the digital generation of composite microstructures using filter-based approaches that can devise and utilize a wide variety of cost functions reflecting the desired targets on geometrical and statistical measures. The use of filter-based approaches leads to remarkable computational advantages compared to the conventional approaches used currently for microstructure generation. The framework provides a highly modular and flexible approach to generate stochastic ensembles of microstructures meeting user-defined microstructural characteristics. The proposed framework is illustrated in this paper through selected case studies.

Research Objectives: This study aims to find out how the concept of da'wah communication should be carried out by a da'wah leader in facing the digital generation. Research Methodology: Qualitative-Literature. Research Results: from this study it was found that in facing the digital generation, a da'wah leader must pay attention to at least three things in communicating. Namely: first, you must be an example in your life, especially in the context of da'wah. Because the digital generation is a generation that really pays attention to the lives of its characters. Second, da'wah leaders must make maximum use of online media as a medium for preaching to the digital generation. Because the digital generation is a generation that is very familiar with online media. Third, the da'wah leader must have digital literacy in communicating with the digital generation. The three literacies are data literacy, technological literacy and human literacy. So that with this literacy, da'wah leaders can communicate well with the digital generation.

In the 21st century, many changes occur in life. The most prominent are technology-based and digital activities. Students born after 1995 are called Generation Z who play a role in creating and using various digital technologies. Generation Z in the 21st century is a digital generation that continues to advance and create new things in the fields of technology, communication, and digital. To compensate for the changes that occur in the character of generation Z students and also the faster technological developments, the creativity of teachers is needed in making a learning innovation. Innovation is carried out so that the learning process does not lag behind the times when technology changes rapidly.
