Abstract Nowadays, before the era of modern Steer-by-wire steering systems, the most widely used steering technology is Electric Power Steering (EPS). This paper contains the developing of a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) control circuit for EPS systems, in Matlab Simulink environment. The mathematical model of the Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor was created via the four equations that represent the relation between the fluxes, voltages and currents in d-q reference frame and the motor torque equation. Mathematical transformations are required to generate the equivalent input values of the model from analog input waves. In this way, the embedded software is able to communicate with the motor through the analog input and output signals. The control model was also tested in a physically implemented system. The control software is executed on a dSpace AutoBox hardware. The output interface block creates the output phase voltages specified by the control module, and the input interface block allows the phase currents generated by the output voltage to be measured back.

This project aims to develop a measurement of solar energy using Arduino. In this research, two parameters that been measured are light intensity and the voltage. The light intensity was measured using light dependent resistor (LDR) sensor. The voltage was measured using the voltage divider because the voltage generated by the solar panel are large for the Arduino as receiver. These parameters as the input value for the Arduino and the output was display at the Arduino Bluetooth Controller. The Arduino Bluetooth controller display output of the light intensity and the voltage value. The purpose of using Arduino is to convert the analog input of parameter to the digital output and display via Bluetooth .

This paper is an improved alcohol level sensing system, that measures alcohol intakes, display percentage of alcohol, sound an alarm if alcohol percentage is above the preset thresh hood, documents offender’s data via keypad and transmit same data to a central server with SIM800 GSM/GPRS module via short messaging services for proper documentation and persecution purpose. Here we used an alcohol sensor circuit along with LCD display, a buzzer alarm, ATmega328 microcontroller, keypad and GSM sim module. The system first uses the alcohol sensor in order to detect the alcohol. The sensor provides analog input. These analog inputs are sent to the microcontroller for further processing. The microcontroller calculates the percentage of alcohol from the analog input received and displays the same on the LCD screen. The device was observed to sound an alarm when the percentage of alcohol exceeded the preset value of 0.05 g/mL. Through the use of a 4x4 keypad, documentation of the driver license serial number, the car plate number and name of the driver was achieved. These documented details of the erring driver were transmitted to a preprogrammed mobile phone number via SMS using the SIM800 GSM/GPRS module.

It has become necessary to change from a traditional system to an automated system in production processes, because it has high advantages. The most important of them is improving and increasing production. But there is still a need to improve and develop the work of these systems. The objective of this work is to study time reduction by combining multiple sequences of operations into one process. To carry out this work, the pneumatic system is designed to decrease\ increase the time of the sequence that performs a pick and place process through optimizing the sequences based on the obstacle dimensions. Three axes are represented using pneumatic cylinders that move according to the sequence used. The system is implemented and controlled to carry an object from one position to another. The movement of the system is controlled using three linear potentiometers, which are connected to an analog input of the microcontroller to feed the value of the pneumatic rod distance. To achieve the best path of the product moving, it is necessary to compare among several sequences. . The results show the sequences that compared with the reference under fixed speed, such as sequence that has been developed by combining two axes, and then the system path time has been reduced in taking the product from one place to another. Therefore, some factories need to reduce the sequences and thus reduce the time to transfer the product.

Relay arus lebih adalah peralatan yang sangat penting dalam sistem kelistrikan. Alat ini digunakan sebagai proteksi dari anomali atau gangguan yang dapat menimbulkan lonjakan arus dalam waktu singkat seperti ketika terjadi hubung singkat. Besarnya arus dapat merusak peralatan karena melebihi kemampuan hantar arus dari peralatan tersebut. Oleh sebab itu sistem proteksi menjadi peralatan yang wajib digunakan dalam sistem kelistrikan. Sistem proteksi ini terdiri dari beberapa peralatan  seperti relay arus lebih, catu daya, baterai dan circuit breaker. Peralatan tersebut dirangkai menjadi satu sistem dengan menggunakan kabel yang rawan kendur, terlepas dan lain sebagainya yang masih belum terpantau kesiapannya setiap saat sehingga dapat berpotensi menyebabkan kegagalan sistem proteksi. Arduino uno merupakan perangkat mikrokontroler yang memiliki desain open source sehingga dapat diaplikasikan di semua peralatan elektronik. Alat ini dapat diterapkan dalam sistem proteksi untuk memantau tegangan catu daya dan baterai dengan menggunakan port analog input serta mengawasi rangkaian kabel trip coil dengan komponen optocoupler PC017 sebagai sensor input digital pada Arduino. Data yang diterima oleh Arduino uno akan dikirimkan ke online database dengan menggunakan wifi shield ESP8266, kemudian data tersebut akan ditampilkan pada aplikasi dalam ponsel Android. Dengan demikian, jika terdapat kerusakan pada salah satu peralatan tersebut maka petugas dapat segera melakukan perbaikan sebelum terjadi kegagalan sistem proteksi.

ABSTRACTThe molasses monitoring system at sugar factory still uses conventional monitoring by measuring directly on the tank. It is very ineffective because when conducting sale and purchase of molaseses must measure to the tank so that the effectiveness of the sale and purchase transactions is very less.The purpose of this research to increase sale and purchase eficiency of molasses at sugar factories in the madiun area. One such device is a wireless system that can transmit data from the tank so there is no need to measure the tank in the field. Many devices are used such as access point, receiver, analog input based LAN communication, PT100 temperature sensor, level sensor, etc.Analog input-based LAN communication is one device that connects between sensors and computers through a LAN network which is then transmitted by access point through wireless signals so that it can be accessed by the receiver remotely without installing cable as far as 300 meters. Data from receiver can be accessed by computer by using visual studio program as SCADA monitoring interface by using TCP / IP modbus protocol. The result of this research can simplify the process of data retrieval from sugar tank in the field.Keywords: SCADA,Modbus TCP/IP,Monitoring System, WirelessABSTRAKSaat ini sistem monitoring gula tetes di pabrik gula masih menggunakan monitoring konvensional dengan mengukur langsung pada tangki tetes. Hal ini sangat tidak efektif karena saat melakukan transaksi jual beli gula tetes harus mengukur terlebih dahulu ke tangki penampungan sehingga efektifitas dari transaksi jual beli sangat kurang.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah peningkatan sistem pada transaksi jual beli gula tetes pada pabrik gula yang ada di area Madiun. Salah satu perangkat tersebut adalah sistem wireless yang dapat mengirimkan data dari tangki sehingga tidak perlu mengukur tangki di lapangan. Hal tersebut saat ini menjadi salah satu fokus penelitian yang terus dikembangkan. Banyak perangkat yang digunakan seperti acces point, receiver, analog input berbasis komunikasi LAN, sensor suhu PT100, sensor level, dll.Analog input berbasis komunikasi LAN merupakan salah satu perangkat yang menghubungkan antara sensor dan komputer melalui jaringan LAN yang kemudian di pancarkan oleh acces point melalui sinyal wireless sehingga dapat diakses oleh receiver dari jarak jauh tanpa memasang kabel sejauh 300 meter. Data dari receiver dapat diakses oleh komputer dengan menggunakan program visual studio sebagai interface SCADA monitoring dengan menggunakan protokol modbus TCP/IP. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat mempermudah proses pengambilan data dari tangki gula tetes di lapangan.Kata Kunci: SCADA,Modbus TCP/IP, Sistem Monitoring, Wireless, Komunikasi
