The expansion of onshore wind energy is faltering. The federal states, which can control the expansion through goals and principles in state-wide spatial plans, have a share in this. The study shows that the associated restriction of the freedom to build is subject to the principle of proportionality as a content and limitation provision of property. Based on the system of spatial control of wind energy in the BauGB (Federal Building Code). and ROG (Regional Planning Act), a substance requirement for the use of wind energy in outdoor areas is derived from the privilege in § 35 para. 1 No. 5 BauGB. On the basis of the specifications in state-wide spatial development plans, it is evaluated to what extent protective goods, such as immission control or acceptance, can be used as justification.

The problem that will be discussed in this article is about the inheritance rights of a widower according to the customary inheritance of the Batak Toba, whether the widower according to the customary inheritance law of the Batak Toba gets an inheritance from his wife's family. The type of normative legal research used in this article is supported by references or secondary data as the basic material for research related to the issues discussed, that is the rights of the inheritance of widowers in Batak Toba. The data sources used are primary data and secondary data. The data from the results of this study will be analyzed with a qualitative approach, then will be described descriptively. The conclusion obtained from this study is that a Toba Batak widower, in the customary inheritance law of the Batak Toba does not inherit from his wife's family because the wife is a family member of the husband (honest marriage), because the wife herself does not also get an inheritance fromhis parents, because in Batak Toba community, only sons (his wife's brother) get a share of the inheritance and become the heirs of the wife's parents.

From previous research, I have identified what ichnotaxa dominate each ichnofabric unit and how many ichnotaxa are taking up a share of the total observed ichnofabric units. The contribution of this paper is the 91/17 pattern. The point of this pattern is that only 17% ichnotaxa (6 of 34 ichnotaxa) had 91% of the total ichnofabric units that were observed. In addition, the six ichnotaxa tend to be more monospecific. These are the most effective strategies for the animal to survive by constructing the most essential structures. These strategies are common in brackish paleoecology in the fluvial-marine transition zone.

The transition in Europe from a predominantly agricultural society dominated by a landed aristocracy to an emerging commercial one with an expanding bourgeoisie gave birth to a reformulated expression of Christianity whose doctrines could better legitimate the new institutions and practices of commercial society. Whereas Catholicism provided an ideology that justified the landlords’ capture of economic surplus, Protestantism legitimated the emerging bourgeoisie’s ability to do the same. Protestantism’s privileging of work and asceticism afforded social respectability to the bourgeoisie and ideological support for its capturing a share of society’s surplus. It gave legitimacy to the harsh social treatment of a rising class of wage workers who had been separated from any ownership, control, or ready access to the means of production. Protestantism served as a transitional religion between a traditional agricultural world dominated by Catholic doctrine and a more modern commercial one dominated by secular thought.

Much of the academic attention on issues of Great War mourning and commemoration has focussed on the civic memorials, particularly given that they are designed to be public, visible reminders of the local community’s contribution to the war effort. The focus of this article is on a different subset of memorials, in that they refer specifically to workers from particular companies who served in the war. As such they were not always public memorials, being located in many cases within the works and thus only on display to fellow workers. Yet neither were they entirely ‘private’ memorials, such as the ones established in so many family homes to those they had lost. This article considers twenty five metalworks memorials in the south Wales counties of Monmouthshire, Glamorgan and Carmarthenshire. Taken as a whole, these memorials convey a number of messages about south Wales society in the immediate aftermath of the war. In most examples these were commissioned within three years of the Armistice, and the terms they deploy show that the ‘language of 1914’ was still in vogue. Patriotism was ‘splendid’; self-sacrifice was ‘heroic’; the memory of the fallen was ‘glorious.’ Death was preferable to dishonour. In naming these men, the metalworks companies claimed them as their own and by extension laid claim to a share of the glory. The men’s identity as employees was highlighted in the numerous memorials which noted their position within the company. They had an identity as steelworkers or tinplaters, as well as their identities as men of their hometown, and as Welshmen, Britons and sons of the Empire.

The aim of this article is to present possibilities of producing aggregates with an increased content of regular particles in some well-known examples, as well as to present previously unused methods of aggregate production. Traditional aggregate production systems require the use of three or four grinding stages (depending on the particle size of the feed), but fine fractions contain approximately 10% irregular grains on average. The conducted research has shown that in innovative patented technological systems, it is possible to obtain regular aggregates with a share of irregular grains below 3%. The separated irregular aggregates can be crushed again or used for other purposes. The advantages of such inventions include less grinding stages, reduced dust, and lower energy consumption. Regular aggregates also have benefits compared to typical ones. The analyzed aggregate products from various mines showed that regular aggregates have better properties, for example, higher resistance to grinding and abrasion. This article also describes the advantages of using such aggregates for concrete or other applications.
