Abstract: To study on different type of irrigation system suitable for south region of Maharashtra. We are attempting to find an irrigation system which would require less water and will be economical with higher yield of the crops for which it is installed. Irrigation is the artificial application of water to the soil through various systems of tubes, pumps, and sprays. Irrigation is usually used in areas where rainfall is irregular or dry times or drought is expected. There are many types of irrigation systems, in which water is supplied to the entire field uniformly Study of various types of irrigation method's such as surface irrigation, subsurface irrigation, drip irrigation and smart irrigation. We discussed about the different types of irrigation systems, there are several types of irrigation systems such as surface irrigation, sub-surface irrigation, drip irrigation, IOT, smart irrigation, sensor based irrigation in combination of traditional and modern type of irrigation. From above study we came to know the difference between automated irrigation system and manual irrigation system. We will know that automated irrigation system gives higher yield of crops using less amount of water as compared to manual irrigation system in accordance to automated and manual. Our study is to compare our system with other irrigation systems in terms of economy and optimum water usage to provide maximum results. Keywords: Surface irrigation, Drip irrigation, Manual Irrigation system, automated irrigation system

Before the accession to European Union, Serbia must regulate the entire field of property law in order to meet the harmonization of the European law with an adequate national legislation. In this process the priority should be given to regulating the institutes which are not comprehensively regulated in the positive law, that is which have a lot of legal gaps that are difficult to fill in, such is the institute of obtaining the property by transforming a thing belonging to another person without his consent, especially by using his materials to form a new object, becoming the proprietor of the same (specificatio). In the first three parts of the paper, the author introduces to the readers the methods for acquiring the property in this way, the possibility of returning the transformed object to the original state and the possible criteria for discussing the relationship between the person who performs the alteration and the owner of the material. In the next two parts, the author presents and analyses the national provisions regulating this matter with the critical overview of the following situations: when only one party is a conscientious participant and when both parties in the alteration are conscientious or not conscientious participants. In the concluding remarks, the author formulates her own suggestions how these provisions should be regulated in future.

The old oil and gas wells of approximately 70% are found to have no economic value in Indonesia, leading to being abandoned during the end of their lifecycle, as ruled by the government. This is part of decommissioning an entire field with an environmental preservation program, known as an Abandonment and Site Restoration (ASR). The program involves the evaluation of international permanent abandonment standards, as references for the designs, comparisons, and assessments of Indonesia’s policies. It also provides contrast gap analysis and suggestions in ensuring a proper permanent plug and abandonment approach, to avoid any future leaks or re-abandonment operations. Therefore, this study aims to determine and evaluate the gap analysis between Indonesia and International Well Abandonment Standards, as well as OGUK and NORSOK D-010. The results showed that abandonment activities had improvement opportunities philosophy, and practice, used for plugging/isolations, control lines, as well as reservoir and annular barriers. In addition, literature studies were performed to understand the abandonment philosophy for all reviewed standards, to provide proper suggestions or improvements.

In recent years there has been a renewed interest in the development of therapeutic concepts directly derived from learning theory. The aim of this thesis is to examine concepts of mental disorder and psychotherapy in relation to learning principles. This involves, after some preliminary definitions, a survey of theory and practice in regard to mental disorder and therapy from early times to the present day, in order to get some indication of the broad trends of development and some account of the major theories now competing for recognition. Some discussion of relevant learning theories and principles follows, but no attempt is made to give any comprehensive coverage of the entire field, which in itself, would be an ambitious task for a thesis.

Public health is the art and science of preventing disease, prolonging life, and promoting health through the organized efforts of society. The goal of public health is the biological, physical, and mental well-being of all members of society. Thus, public health must address the challenge of confronting health problems, as well as political, social, and economic factors affecting health, not only at the community, state, and national levels, but also at the global level. This chapter introduces the reader to the scope and current major concerns of public health in the twenty-first century, giving examples of each. It is the goal of this chapter to assist the reader in understanding the conceptual framework of the field, which will help them in placing the subsequent more detailed chapters into the context of the entire field of public health.

AbstractThe term “antibiotics” is a broadly used misnomer to designate antibacterial drugs. In a recent article, we have proposed to replace, e.g., the term “antibiotics” by “antibacterial drugs”, “antibiosis” by “antibacterial therapy”, “antibiogram” by “antibacteriogram”, and “antibiotic stewardship” by “antibacterial stewardship” (Seifert and Schirmer Trends Microbiol, 2021). In the present article, we show that many traditional terms related to antibiotics are used much more widely in the biomedical literature than the respective scientifically precise terms. This practice should be stopped. Moreover, we provide arguments to end the use of other broadly used terms in the biomedical literature such as “narrow-spectrum antibiotics” and “reserve antibiotics”, “chemotherapeutics”, and “tuberculostatics”. Finally, we provide several examples showing that antibacterial drugs are used for non-antibacterial indications and that some non-antibacterial drugs are used for antibacterial indications now. Thus, the increasing importance of drug repurposing renders it important to drop short designations of drug classes such as “antibiotics”. Rather, the term “drug” should be explicitly used, facilitating the inclusion of newly emerging indications such as antipsychotic and anti-inflammatory. This article is part of an effort to implement a new rational nomenclature of drug classes across the entire field of pharmacology.

Robert James Graves is an eminent medical practitioner who has made significant contributions to this field. The main path of the scientist began by no means with medical practice, but with extensive travels that prompted him to start and fruitfully carry out scientific activity in the future. The scientific activity carried out by Robert James Graves throughout his life formed special preconditions for the development of medical education and entire fields of medicine. The practice of students, according to his teaching model, was not typical, but many experts in this field spoke about it quite positively, for example, such as T.J. McKenn and Armand Trousseau. He made history 180 years ago by discovering an autoimmune disease, which causes hyperthyroidism, he was known as a physician whose contribution covered the entire field of endocrinology, cardiology, infectious diseases and neurology.

My paper problematizes genre as an essential taxonomic tool not only for literature, but for the entire field of human discourse. The route of the conceptual semantization of genre is traced from the canonical definitions to contemporary methodological avatars, in an attempt to prove its versatility, its capacity to change and adapt.

The letter points to a logical mistake found in “The conjunction fallacy in probability judgment” published by Tversky and Kahneman. Currently, at least 5,100 research papers reference this work, and an entire field of associated studies has been created based on the paper. These works assume the correctness of the original publication and reproduce the error without due critical analysis.
