Social media is a new phenomenon that has changed the way the business environment operates. Through social media, businesses gain access to resources that are otherwise unavailable to the business owner. This research is a causality research, which aims to analyze the causal relationship and influence of two or more phenomena, through hypothesis testing. The population and sample in this study are SMEs who open e-commerce businesses on social media. The number of samples used in this study amounted to 154 respondents. Based on the analysis and discussion, it is concluded that the Marketing operation advantages variable has no significant effect on Marketing Performance, the Cost-effectiveness variable has a significant effect on Marketing Performance, the Customer Communication Channel variable has a significant effect on Cost-effectiveness, the Customer Communication Channel variable has a significant effect on Increased customer satisfaction, Customer The Communication Channel has a significant effect on Marketing operation advantages, the Customer relationship performance variable has a significant effect on Marketing Performance, the Increased customer satisfaction variable has a significant effect on Marketing Performance and the Social media marketing implementation capabilities variable has a significant effect on Customer relationship performance.

Permasalahan air limbah di Indonesia merupakan isu pencemaran lingkungan yang strategis dalam pembangunan berkelanjutan, baik yang bersumber dari pemukiman penduduk maupun unit usaha perkantoran. Tingginya kandungan organik terlarut di dalam air limbah dapat menyebabkan penurunan intesitas masuknya cahaya matahari yang dibutuhkan oleh mikroorganisme fotosintetik dan berdampak pada penurunan kualitas badan air. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu merencankan pembangunan unit Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah (IPAL) domestik di Kantor Pusat PT. Pertamina Marketing Operation Region (MOR) V Surabaya dengan menggunakan kombinasi unit biofilter aerobik dan adsorpsi karbon aktif beserta perhitungan volume bangunan dan Rencana Anggaran Biaya (RAB) yang dibutuhkan. Teknologi pengolahan ini dipilih karena memiliki keunggulan dalam meremoval kadar pencemar organik dengan tingkat efisiensi yang tinggi dan kebutuhan lahan yang tidak terlalu luas. Metode penelitian menggunakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari data perusahaan berupa debit pemakaian air bersih, layout kantor, data kualitas air limbah, serta informasi lain yang terkait dengan perencanaan. Hasil penelitian yang didapat berupa gambar desain (DED) unit IPAL, dimensi total bangunan pengolah seluas 34m2(P=17m dan L=2m), spesifikasi bahan yang digunakan, serta rencana anggaran biaya yang dibutuhkan untuk pembangunan kontruksi unit IPAL yaitu sebesar Rp243.136.020,00. Perencanaan ini juga ditunjang dengan panduan dalam operasional dan perawatan unit IPAL.  Kata kunci: Adsorpsi karbon aktif, air limbah domestik, biofilter aerobik, desain IPAL. The problem of wastewater in Indonesia is a strategic issue of environmental pollution in sustainable development, both sourced from residential areas and office business units. The high dissolved organic content in wastewater can cause a decrease in the intensity of sunlight needed by photosynthetic microorganisms and have an impact on the quality of water bodies. The purpose of this study is to plan the construction of a domestic Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) at the Head Office of PT. Pertamina Marketing Operation Region (MOR) V Surabaya using a combination of aerobic biofilter units and activated carbon adsorption along with the calculation of building volume and the required Budget Plan. This processing technology was chosen because it has advantages in renovating organic pollutant levels with a high level of efficiency and land requirements that are not too broad. The research method uses secondary data obtained from company data in the form of debit of clean water usage, office layout, waste water quality data, and other information related to planning. The results obtained in the form of design drawings (DED) of WWTP units, the total dimensions of the processing plant area of 34m2 (P = 17m and L = 2m), as well as the material specifications used, as well as the budget plan required for the construction of WWTP unit construction is Rp243. 136,020.00. This planning is also supported by guidelines in the operation and maintenance of WWTP units. Keywords: Activated carbon adsorption, aerobic biofilter, domestic wastewater, WWTP design.

PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to investigate the relations in the Marketing/Operations interface through the analysis of data of the operational reality of a Brazilian company with a low technological intensity. The study aims to quantify and determine the impacts of marketing decisions on delivery performance and on flexibility of the operations area.Design/methodology/approachA longitudinal case study was conducted and the variables used in the model were derived from established theories and were evaluated with artificial neural networks. The case of a food manufacturing company was selected to reflect the relations in the marketing/operations interface of a low technological intensity enterprise.FindingsThe results show that the decisions on Place/Channel, Price and Product dimensions of marketing exert a significant impact on flexibility and delivery performance of the operation area.Research limitations/implicationsThe findings of the case study cannot be generalised and the outcomes are specific to just one firm. However, the approach lends itself to replication, particularly within low technological intensity companies.Originality/valuePrior studies have focussed on coordination among functional areas as marketing and operations at higher levels of abstraction. The study contemplate empirical propositions through the data analysis of a company with a low technological intensity that can be used to improve managers' decisions and alignment in the Marketing/Operation Interface.

Within the oil marketing operation, various entities compete and attempt to maximize their profits by providing sufficient supply to meet needs of market. It is an optimal method for oil marketing company operation with a dynamically reasonable inventory to maximize profit under oil price fluctuation and inventory sales lag. In this paper, we study the optimal procurement method of oil marketing company which confirms the reasonable inventory. We build a data fusion model for the GMDH- (group method of data handling-) type neural network and normal distribution forecast results, what is trying to confirm the safety stock (SS). On the basis of the expectation criterion of risk decision and safety stock limit, oil marketing companies can make scientific purchase decision for inventory income. Numerical results reveal that this method has a good effect for inventory income.

Entrepreneurship in agriculture and allied activities provide better income generating and employment opportunities among the rural households. With changes like globalization, deregulation, open competition and technological change taking place, our society is becoming an entrepreneurial society. However, in an entrepreneurial society, individuals face a tremendous challenge in running an enterprise. In this context, the study was purposively conducted in Krishi Vigyan Kendra (Farm Science Center) operating under ICAR-NDRI which imparts regular training to farmers, youth and women on major areas of agriculture such as crop production, dairy farming, dairy processing, vermiculture, beekeeping, fish farming and home science. A total of twenty respondents/entrepreneurs; who had previously attended entrepreneurship training programme were finally selected based on random sampling. Therefore, entrepreneurs from various sectors i.e. four in seed production (4), beekeeping (4), vermi-composting (3), dairy processing (4), fish farming (3) and home science (2) were finally selected. The constraints were operationalised as certain irresistible forces which are creating obstacles in establishment and running of entrepreneurial unit like constraints related to establishment of farm enterprise, production, marketing and government rules and regulation were identified. The major constraints in establishment of farm enterprise was lack of new idea for starting new entrepreneurial ventures, high-cost and non-availability of input was the major production related constraints. In case of marketing, operation of unorganized agricultural market was the major perceived constraints whereas lack of digital literacy such as digital mode of payment was the major constraint highlighting the inefficiency of government rules and regulations.

This study aims to analyze the effect of applying clean values, employee empowerment towards organizational citizenship behavior with employee performance. This type of research used a quantitative approach. Data collection used interviews, observation and questionnaire dissemination. The population of this research were employees of PT. Pertamina MORV Surabaya with a sample of 135 respondents from 204 employees. The analytical method used the application of SmartPLS (Partial Least Square). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded clean value management, employee empowerment have a significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior. Clean values, empowerment, organizational citizenship behavior have a significant effect on employee performance.

The research purpose is to identify the feasibility of premium arenga sugar originated from Conservative Forest of HalimunSalak. This Business is based on the social issue that occurs in the community due to sales decrease of arenga sugar as the main source of income. This research is also intended as based for strategy related to marketing, operation, human resource, and finance. The research methods are direct observations, expert interviews, taste panels, dan focus group. With the IDR 16 bio, this business resulted in NPV more than 0 (Rp 36.233.793.890), IRR (45%) bigger than WACC (12%), and Payback period 3,5 years. These results exceed the shareholder's expectation so that the business is worth to be realized.
