This study aimed at investigating the innovation attributes of face-to-face Computer Assisted Cooperative Learning (CACL). It employed a mixed method design as the data were collected through a survey and semi-structured interviews. The findings showed that face to face CACL has a high degree of adoption in higher education institutes to teach EFL/ESL learners. Also, the regression analysis showed that the five factors are strong predictors of innovation adoption with complexity has the highest significance, followed by compatibility, relative advantage, observability and trialability respectively. The study found that accessibility is an emerging innovation attribute which increases the adoption of any innovation practice. The paper concluded that the human element of face-to-face cooperative learning increases the adoption of CACL, and that relative advantage has influence on the other innovation attributes. The study recommends using face-to-face CACL in teaching EFL/ESL learners, and using accessibility as an innovation attribute.

ABSTRACT This research was conducted at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Bojonegoro Regency. The purpose of this study was to describe and analyze an innovation in population administration services for the Si N'duk application released by the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Bojonegoro Regency. The focus of this study is to describe the innovation of the Si N'duk population administration service application based on the theory of innovation attributes according to Rogers. The research method used is descriptive research using qualitative data analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that based on the theory of innovation attributes according to Rogers, most of the population administration service innovations in the Si N'duk application have fulfilled this theory. However, there are still some problems, such as those experienced by the community in the process of uploading population document files, then in terms of the application there is still no application form download feature, there is no notification notification when there is a service application, and application upgrades have not been carried out. In addition there are also problems related to servers and networks. Of course, these shortcomings must be corrected in order to continue to provide the best service innovations for the community. Therefore, from the problems that occur, it is necessary to have a routine performance evaluation that must be carried out by the Population and Civil Registration Office of Bojonegoro Regency so that innovation in population administration services through the Si N'duk application can provide more benefits for the community as service recipients. Keywords: Innovation, Population Administration, Si N'duk Application

This study investigates the effect of product innovation attributes (Relative advantage, Complexity, Compatibility, Trialability, and observability) on customer satisfaction and loyalty with experience as a moderator between customer satisfaction and brand loyalty. This study uses quantitative methods, using the help of SPSS 23, and uses a path analysis approach to determine the relationship between variables. Based on a sample of 100 people living in the Labuhan Batu Regency area, it was found that Relative advantage, Complexity, Compatibility, Trialability, and Observability had a positive effect on customer satisfaction. These results also found that the product innovation attribute was a major predictor of customer satisfaction. The results of the study reveal that loyal customers use smartphone services in accordance with and consistent with the given perceptions. In addition, the research results illustrate that customer satisfaction has a significant effect on brand loyalty. Furthermore, this study also found that experience significantly moderates customer satisfaction and brand loyalty. As a practical implication in good market competition, companies need to understand the needs of customers and provide added value to customers by providing innovative products. Innovation in a product can increase customer satisfaction and make customers commit to a brand. managers need to understand customer needs by creating value accordingly. This study is the first to investigate the relationship between product innovation attributes, customer satisfaction and experience as a moderator. Future research is expected to analyze the role of experience as an independent variable in influencing customer satisfaction and brand loyalty.

PurposeBeing innovative is important for non-profit sport organizations in order to meet the ever-changing and increasing societal needs. Understanding why and to what extent organizational innovativeness differs between non-profit sport organizations is, therefore, important to assess and increase their chances of survival. The purpose of this study is to compare the structural characteristics and attitudes of innovation attributes between three groups of sport federations (SFs).Design/methodology/approachAn online self-assessment survey was sent to all recognized regional Belgian SFs (N = 156). Simultaneously, an observational desk research (i.e. media analysis) was carried out. Results from both data collection methods were combined to develop a composite organizational innovativeness-index, based on which the federations were then clustered in three distinct adopter groups.FindingsComparative statistics show that structural background characteristics generally are poor indicators for adopter categorization. In contrast, the attitudes about compatibility (i.e. the consistency of innovations with existing values) and complexity (i.e. the extent to which innovations are difficult to apprehend) seem the most important distinctive determinants for the different groups of SFs.Originality/valueThe study's contribution is twofold. First, it offers a methodological contribution with the development of an index, which enables the categorization of non-profit sport organizations according to their organizational innovativeness; thus, it provides a critical counter-argument to the importance of organizational structural background characteristics from previous studies. Second, the study's results may support non-profit sport organizations in improving their innovativeness, for instance by improving the perception of compatibility with innovation or by guiding policymakers in creating a more supportive environment for these organizations to do so.

Generating innovations is one of the key success factors of companies and organizations. To constantly create new innovations, an effective innovation strategy must be implemented by companies. Therefore, a variation of different strategic frameworks has been formulated. One framework which combines the idea of Open Innovation with startup-based interaction is the startup-orientated cooperative innovation (SOCI) strategy. The PANDA initiative of Fresenius University of Applied Science can be characterized as a coupled process of the SOCI framework. This paper presents the results of a survey, analyzing the impact of PANDA on the innovation strategies of the chemical and pharmaceutical industry based on the innovation attributes defined by the Oslo Manual 2018. The survey was used to compare 12 PANDA project evaluations implementing by European chemical and pharmaceutical companies. The main results of this study show that PANDA represents an effective tool to foster early-stage innovation development and indicates general effectiveness of SOCI strategies for chemical and pharmaceutical companies.

In the last 4-6 years, the government has provided an agricultural mechanization assistance through the Ministry of Agriculture to Gapoktan, Poktan or the Agricultural Equipment and Machinery Service Business (UPJA). Assistance is provided in order to support increased production and productivity of superior commodities. It is suspected that the use of alsintan has not been optimally utilized. In order to optimize the utilization of this government innovation, the optimization is carried out by analyzing the adoption and the use of alsintan and implementing the optimization of machinery. This study is limited to character analysis of the innovation that affects the speed of adoption of alsintan innovation in farmers in Bogor, Sukabumi and Cianjur districts. The unit of research analysis was individual alsintan user farmers. The samples were determined purposively. There were 158 selected respondents. The descriptive statistical analysis used was Microsoft Excel 2016. The results showed there were some influences of innovation attributes on the adoption of two-wheeled hand tractor and water pump innovations. Farmers can make use of innovation because it reduces production costs, makes work easier, and increases production. Besides, it is easy to use and easy to test; and the results are easy to see. Further research is needed to analyze the environment, organizations and individuals as the driving factors for innovation adoption.
