There were considered the issues of the optimal collision avoidance in the target’s risk field. A method of optimal divergence by course maneuvering is proposed, which makes it possible to minimize the divergence trajectory for a given risk of collision and consists in organizing the movement of the vessel along the trajectory of a given risk. The risk field of the target is a normal distribution law characterized by the root-mean-square parameters of the uncertainties associated with measurement errors of the parameters of the vessel's state vector and target, errors of actuators, errors of the used mathematical models, errors of calculation, etc. The operability and efficiency of the proposed method, algorithmic and software were tested on the Imitation Modeling Stand, which is the Navi Trainer 5000 navigation simulator and a model of on-board controller included in its local network with the software of the risk divergence module. The Imitation Modeling Stand allows to work out the software of control systems, including the considered optimal divergence module, in a closed circuit with the Navi Trainer 5000 navigation simulator, using all its advantages.

Vessel control in a storm is the most difficult stage in the vessel voyage, as it requires quick decisions to be made in difficult conditions. Practical experience shows that the deterioration of the working conditions of the crew is usually associated with increase in the number of control mistakes [1]. The article examines the possibility of automatic control of a vessel in a stormy conditions by automatic calculation in the on-board controller of the vessel optimal safe speed and course during a storm. This allowed to significantly increase the accuracy of calculations, to exclude the human factor, to reduce the depletion of the crew, to increase the reliability of the vessel control in a storm. The efficiency and effectiveness of the method, algorithmic and software were tested on Imitation Modeling Stand in a closed loop with mathematical vessel models of the navigation simulator Navi Trainer 5000.

The work purpose is to estimate and investigate processes of the regenerative braking impact upon a voltage level on object buses of the system of traction power supply at electricity storage systems. In the investigation there are used methods of imitation modeling and analytical ones allowing the fulfillment of calculations for different conditions of the electric traction load formation within the limits of inter-substation areas under consideration. The work novelty consists in the approach to the estimation of the working mode impact of electricity storage systems upon the voltage level on buses of the objects of traction power supply under conditions of regenerative braking and charge characteristics changes. In the course of the investigation there are obtained the following results: the work cyclicity change estimation of a storage system is carried out; the dependence of a charge depth change upon rated power consumption is defined; charge characteristics for conditions of charge predominance in the diagram are calculated; the character of voltage changes on object buses of the system of traction power supply is defined; the necessity of charge characteristic adaptation depending on conditions of regenerative braking use is defined. The regenerative braking use makes an impact upon charge characteristics formed from the condition of charge predominance in the diagram of a charge degree at the rated interval and allows increasing currents of the second stage of the charge characteristics allowing the decrease voltage loss at charge realization caused by adjacent traction substations at the first stage.

The article considers artistic and creative activity as an important tool of students’ humanistic culture formation. It is noted that artistic and creative student activity is determined by subjects’ specifics and the conditions in which they are realized. Considerable emphasis is also placed on understanding artistic and creative activities as necessary conditions that effects efficiency of the training process which promotes development of students’ motivation for learning, emotional and figurative spheres of their personalities, creative potential, humanistic culture. Humanistic culture is defined as integral personal education of the student in a set of humanistic norms, values, ways of behavior adopted in society. It is substantiated that the formation of humanistic culture is a complex, step-by-step process of personality development of a future specialist. It turned out that artistic and creative activity is a social process associated with spiritual and practical activities of the youth which encourages them to transform the content of the activity and its humanistic orientation in emotional and figurative forms, provides aesthetic perception of the reality; it provides implementation of culturological function and is manifested in their ability to create culture; it is a socio-psychological phenomenon that determines the emotional and aesthetic activity of the youth. It is established that artistic and creative activity develops a students’ complex ability to create products of artistic and creative activities (ability to artistically and figuratively perceive the world, which combines objects and subjects and attitude to them; ability to create artistic reality: visual, subject-imitation that evoke empathy and compassion of the subject). Emphasis is placed on problem-based learning as one of the most effective methods to manifest intellectual and creative abilities of students, creativeness in independent activity, confidence and ability to work creatively. It is determined that effective means of forming a humanistic student culture of the youth is an imitation (modeling) technology associated with modeling of situations of future professional activity in educational process.

A scientific approach to calculating the parameters and characteristics of an asynchronous motor in the inter-turn short circuit mode in one phase of the stator is proposed to create the foundations of a diagnostic complex for assessing the condition of asynchronous motors of the transport infrastructure. This approach consists of the fact that in the model with which the research is carried out, it is proposed to take into account changes in the mutual inductance of the motor when the AC impedance of one of the stator phases changes. Using a new approach to modeling processes occurring in an asynchronous motor during the inter-turn short circuit in one phase of the stator, pulsations of the torque on the motor shaft were studied for different values of the AC impedance and resistance of one of the stator winding phases, which corresponds to varying degrees of the inter-turn short circuits.

The author has carried out a comparative analysis of spruce stands productivity for different planting schemes based on imitation modeling. He shows that the process of the stand self-thinning depends both on the initial density of planting and on the trees relative position on the site, which ultimately determines the amount of a given diameter wood stock. It is determined the optimal forest planting schemes for spruce stands providing the maximum stock of small, medium and large wood.
