Many social media users try to obtain as many followers as possible in a social network to gain influence, a challenge that is often referred to as the follow back problem. In this work we study different strategies for this problem in the context of politically polarized social networks and study how political partisanship affect social media users' propensity to follow each other. We test how contact strategy (liking, following) interacts with partisan alignment when trying to induce users to follow back. To do so, we conduct a field experiment on Twitter where we target N=8,104 active users using bot accounts that present as human. We found that users were more than twice as likely to reciprocally follow back bots whose partisanship matched their own. Conversely, when the only form of contact between the bot and the user was the bot liking the user’s posts, the follow rate was extremely low regardless of partisan alignment – and liking a user’s content and following them led to no increase in follow-back relative to just following the user. Finally, we found no partisanship asymmetries, such that Democrats and Republicans preferentially followed co-partisans to the same extent. Our results demonstrate the important impact of following users and having shared partisanship – and the irrelevance of liking users’ content – on solving the follow back problem.

After the criticism that Martin Heide-gger made of Western metaphysics some authors like Gilson or Fabro, among others, wanted to enter into confrontation giving them the oppor-tunity to study in depth most important theses of authors like Thomas Aquinas and his esse philo-sophy. Gilson’s theses had an important impact on the world of Thomism, but Lawrence Dewan, also a Thomist, wanted to defend against Gilson the traditional interpretation of Cayetano and Capreolo, which until now had been regarded as the most celebrated commentators of Thomas. This article investigates a specific point of this confrontation: the causation of esse.

This research deals with the study of Rime in the prose of Abi Al-Fadl Al-Mikali, a study that dealt with this phenomenon in the fourth century AH. The Rime has an important impact on the literary text reaching its goal through mastering the selection of words and letters, considering their characteristics and sounds, so the recipient is delighted when he hears and the reader when he reads, and together it draws attention to the Rime in Abi Al-Fadl Al-Mikaly’s prose, that- this artistic color often leads On other inventive arts such as alliteration and iteration One of the most important recommendations that writers should not lose sight of in their writing is to stay away from the necessity of Riming in their artistic texts unless it is necessary, lest the literary work be spoiled by excessive embellishment and sophistication, so it loses its luster, and distorts its meaning. The recipient responds to the category work through its harmonious music and Rims that correspond to the requirements of the soul, and it is not possible in any way to isolate the rhythm of the Rime from the meaning and context, and the creator's emotion. The ancient and contemporary critics were interested in this art and its impact on the artwork! Its place in prose is the place of weight in poetry, this art that entered the arts of literature, and gave it a sense of goodness, and a lot of interest in this art and commitment to it in the book of this century, except for what is rarely important.

This essay examines six Persian-language historical works that were produced in the Caucasus during the nineteenth century. These works have conventionally gone unnoticed due to the language of composition and the predominant approach to the region as a Russian imperial province. Interestingly, these texts bear the mark of the Afsharid period, and demonstrate a marked interest in the figure of Nader Shah. They demonstrate that the Safavid collapse and the subsequent developments of the eighteenth century had an important impact on conceptions of political legitimacy in the Caucasus. They also suggest that the birth of new local Persianate historiographical traditions in the region should not only be viewed through the lens of Russian imperial modernity and instead be better situated in their local and historical context.

In his phenomenological works Jan Patočka increasingly referred to movement and lived/physical corporeality. He conceived the concept of the world in terms of the correlation of life with its milieu. In conjunction with Edmund Husserl’s late phenomenology of the lifeworld, he took lived corporeality as his starting point and guiding motif in a way that is parallel to Merleau-Ponty’s work. The article expresses an opinion, that it was also one of the reasons why he kept his distance from Eugen Fink’s philosophical cosmology. And still, it is Patočka’s reference to this cosmological project that has had, and keeps on having, an important impact on the recent reception of his work in France.

Public art and urban art are two independent and interdependent concepts. Public art is characterized by publicity, which refers to the unique artistic features displayed in the urban public domain. Urban art is relatively restrained and implicit, which refers to the historical culture accumulated in the historical development of the city. However, there is a certain commonality between them, which can influence each other, promote each other and develop each other, and have an important impact on contemporary urban development and urban construction. This paper mainly explores the symbiosis between public art and urban art, and further analyzes and explains the symbiotic forms between public art and urban art.
