A new and efficient practice on digitally distanced inspections & management walk through following the introduction of stringent global travel restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic is presented in this paper. To successfully implement this practice, Well Intervention Team identified the problem and challenge including personnel's count & travel restriction, virtual method to be used, special PPE and infrastructure to deal with COVID-19. Fishbone diagram is used to analyze many possible causes for the problem & challenge stated before. Planning, scheduling, and execution to comply with problem and challenge then is performed. The virtual commissioning is executed with minimum personnel from service provider that physically onsite to gather required data and witness the process, followed by verification of the documented data and approval of the commissioning from the Well Intervention Team. The project performed with no major safety issues during operation. Two projects (Micro Coiled Tubing and Slickline – Electricline Combo Unit) are successfully executed within projected working window due to quicker inspection & survey activities, shorter response time, and greater scheduling flexibility. Four Virtual Management Walk Through are done within period 2020. Travel and accommodation costs spent is reduced for online commissioning and Virtual Management Walk Through. Instant and greater access to many network of experts to analyze the stored data that improve the decision-making. Minimum travel activities that reduced risk in transporting personnel to site and accommodating visitors from the company and service provider at site, removed the risk of delay, and also reduced carbon footprint.

COVID-19 pandemic scenario is an outbreak for the entire world and their economies, but it has severely impacted our Indian economy due to either halt or slow-down across sectors and industries except a few. The Governments at Central and various state levels have tried there level best to bring minimize the negative impact of COVID-19 on livelihood of the citizens. The means adopted were primarily focusing upon the food security to underprivileged people across the nation, dedicated extra COVID healthcare funds, development of health related infrastructure, arrangement of medical equipment’s, medicines etc. with support of various ministries and defense forces, special incentives in health sector to boost their morale and recognize their committed efforts. However, in totality when looked upon a deficit was observed in terms of supply in comparison to the demand for several goods and services. The core reasons being unavailability/ lack of labor, raw material, lock-down rules, situation of uncertainty etc., all this resulting in slowing down the economic affairs in India, severally impacting the financial economy, employees and employment at large. The situation being so grim that either people were losing their lives due to Corona or due under tremendous pressure as a result of stress arising out of money and earnings, with many earning members no more alive or sitting idle with no employment. With a nation of size of India, which stood tall against the so called first wave in the year 2020 was carving out path out of the crisis situation, encountered the vital second wave in year 2021 (April onwards in volume). Huge crisis of immediate supply of Oxygen and few medicines created a situation of Havoc across nation. The current study attempted through secondary and primary data across sectors, to interpret the severity of impact of COVID-19 on overall Indian economy, with focus on analyzing aspects like use of virtual management system and employment scenario in specific.

The VIRTUS project aims to create a Virtual Power Plant (VPP) prototype coordinating the Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) of the power system and providing services to the system operators and the various players of the electricity markets, with a particular focus on the industrial sector agents. The VPP will be able to manage a significant number of DERs and simulate realistic plants, components, and market data to study different operating conditions and the future impact of the policy changes of the Balancing Markets (BM). This paper describes the project’s aim, the general structure of the proposed framework, and its optimization and simulation modules. Then, we assess the scalability of the optimization module, designed to provide the maximum possible flexibility to the system operators, exploiting the simulation module of the VPP.

AbstractIn people with multiple sclerosis (PwMS), strict follow-up is essential. Telemedicine has the potential to overcome many of the difficulties in routine management. Herein, we present a structured protocol that can be used to remotely manage patients with MS, describing in detail the steps to be taken and exams needed at each stage. A working group was established which developed a tailored protocol that can be adapted to a variety of settings. The overall protocol consisted of 5 phases: enrolment, document sharing phase, pre-evaluation, virtual visit, and post-visit phase, which was divided into 14 individual steps. As of October 2020, 25 virtual visits have been carried out, all via Skype. The patient’s caregiver was present during visits and had an active role. The average duration of the virtual visit was 24 min, and that of the pre-visit and post-visit were around 15 min each. Overall satisfaction as rated by physicians was considered high (8.0 ± 0.5). Using the system usability scale (SUS), patients also favorably rated the virtual visit (96.6 ± 6.1). In 20% of cases, the virtual visit was not sufficient to provide adequate information and an in-person clinical visit was recommended. The described protocol has the potential to provide benefits for the healthcare system as well as patients and their caregivers both during and beyond COVID-19 pandemic.

Improving the service of residents of cities and regions, improving transportation processes, primarily depends on the persons involved in the transportation process, road users, road users. They determine the competitiveness of enterprises, the transport industry as a whole. The level of their professionalism, their professional experience, depends on specific reasons. In the conditions of Ukraine, crisis, transition state of society, at change of types of social and labor relations there are serious problems of preservation and transfer of professional experience, continuity of professional culture and ethics, norms and values, and ultimately - professional knowledge, abilities and skills. Professional knowledge and skills, general and special abilities, professionally important qualities and methods of self-regulation, which activate adequate functional states, constitute the professional potential of personal development. In the period of professional activity there is a restructuring and change of ways of its performance depending on dynamics of development of self-consciousness which stimulates development of the person. Socio-economic conditions, social environment and activity of the individual have a great influence on the development of a professional. This is the content of the professional specialization of road users. Its main idea, the purpose of the study is to create software and hardware for virtual management, its intellectualization based on the use of virtual logistics of transport processes, providing road users, tools of virtual management, a kind of virtual logistics of the transport system of the transport portal KhNADU (ICT KhNADU). The theoretical foundations of information resources are based on new approaches to the theory and practice of creation, operation and development of vehicles of cities and regions. Thus, it should be noted that the problem of creating a single information space of transport systems is closely related to the generalization, analysis and synthesis of heterogeneous heterogeneous components, subsystems, units, objects that are controlled or control and use appropriate computer resources. Their power, bandwidth conversion of control signals are associated with the interaction of moving objects, the intensity of traffic flows and processes.

Problem. Due to the constant information development of society and its industrial component, new transport systems and machines have reached a high level of information excellence. Accordingly, there is a new contradiction between the rapid development of tools and methods of informatization of complex objects and systems, the development of transport telematics (internal for cars and other vehicles and external internal transport control systems) and the heterogeneous nature of existing subsystems and components of the transport complex. Of Ukraine. The problem of resolving this contradiction will allow at all levels of transport infrastructure to improve services to residents of cities and regions, improve transport processes, avoid existing negative consequences: traffic disruptions, unsatisfactory condition of roads, irrational use of funds for repair, operation and equipment of highways. This will help improve traffic safety, improve the quality of transport services, ensure people’s comfort and save cargo. Goal. The goal of the study is to create software and hardware for virtual management, its intellectualization based on the use of virtual logistics of transportation processes, providing road users, tools of virtual management, a kind of virtual logistics of the transport system of the transport portal KhNADU (ICT KhNADU). The purpose of this article is to study the problem of expressing and proving new rules and concepts for providing knowledge and skills to people who want to work in the IT field of transport applications. The sequence of acquiring knowledge and skills of people who have improved their personal professional level in road transport is determined. Methodology. The idea of computer science as system engineering of successful consecutive creation of computer equipment and software of complex systems by combining their computer and software engineering in the field of motor transport is offered. Problem. The results of fundamental and applied research of computer science and software engineering in industry and transport are considered. Informational socialization is offered to provide knowledge and skills to persons wishing to work in the IT industry. A kind of sensory cognitive representation of the spatial-temporal orientation of transport applications and synergy (performance assessment) of development, updating of applications, support of the semantic site of the transport-road portal of automobile transfer.  Goal. Increasing the competitiveness of transport and road organizations by increasing the efficiency of virtual management of the car transfer, taking into account the virtual logistics and IT industry.   Methodology. The idea and basic tasks of synergetic integration of the following technologies: WEB, Internet in general, distribution of computer resources of the client and server part of the Industry 4.0  Results and  originality. The most useful in the synergy of WEB implementation is the use as a feature of a dynamic site aggregator WEB portal in defined as the location of vehicles and visualization of the relevant transport situation. Practical value. It is obtaining additional computer resources in the conditions of application of WEB, which is offered for implementation, does not require significant capital expenditures. Costs associated only with the assistance of this new work of existing staff - WEB users of these solutions. The implementation of these scientific and practical results shows that the greatest benefit from using the cloud infrastructure instead of supporting its own IT infrastructure is not even technological, but financials.
