The challenge faced by the incubators in India is finding good start-ups that solve theproblems in the market or in value chain. A well-structured incubation program may leadthe startup from idea generation stage to setting up the business and most crucial fundingsupport. Analysis of effectiveness of training programme was done using primary as wellas secondary data. Progress report of the institute and primary information from the traineeswere matched to reach usefulness of the training programme. The primary data was collectedduring August, 2019 to January 2020 with partial structured pre-scheduled interview. Forthe ICAR-BPD trainees there was no substantial variation in age or land ownership, implying that the comparison on certain dimensions could be due to the training programmerather than underlying human attributes. The ICAR-BPD trainees were mainly attemptingto obtain government employment and were often unaware of the training and otherresources available to help them establish their own enterprise. Almost all of the traineesattributed their progress to the RUDSET Institute’s EDP teaching.

Abstract. The currently IT tools provides increased opportunities to organize professional and recreational activities by interactive maps easily accessible for users. An experiment was conducted to understand if the great potential offered by new technologies match with the ability to produce good quality spatial data by users. The goal was to assess whether their knowledge of GIS affected the quality of their mapping activity by online map-based survey with maps as part of on line questionnaire. The attention was paid to university students as target of potential users of these tools, considering different skills acquired during their studies: from theoretical courses of geography, to theoretical and practical courses (dedicated labs) on GIS. The experiment involved more than 200 students of the University of Udine during the academic year 2019–2020. In this framework, a further study was developed investigating factors playing a role in students’ ability to complete the proposed exercises. The analysis was based on a multiple regression model which assumes the number of exercises completed as a dependent variable, and the student profile characteristics (gender, type of student, knowledge of GIS, and other IT skills) as independent variables. The estimated models pointed out both students’ willingness and deep knowledge of GIS as main factors effected the students’ ability to complete the proposed exercises. Fewer effects were associated to their gender and residence.

AbstractTo improve the tribological performance of CSS-42L bearing steel, smooth surfaces (SSs), groove-textured surfaces (GSs), GSs with Sn-Ag-Cu (GSs-SAC), and GSs with Sn-Ag-Cu-Ti3C2 (GSs-SACT) were prepared on CSS-42L. In addition, experimental studies were conducted on tribological properties. The obtained results indicated that GSs-SACT exhibited the best anti-friction and noise reduction performances. These remarkable tribological performances were attributed to the synergistic effects of grooves, Sn-Ag-Cu, and MXene-Ti3C2. The inconsistent rules of frictional forces were improved by the grooves and SACT, which inhibit the friction-induced noise. The micro-nano size-effects of MXene-Ti3C2 enhanced the repairing effect and anti-friction property of composite lubricants, which improved the profile characteristics of GSs-SACT.

Traditional interpretations of homelessness focus on people living on the streets or in shelters. However, homelessness encompasses many more living situations. This article reports on a scoping review of studies on hidden homelessness. A systematic search in scientific databanks was combined with an exploration of Google Scholar. The results of the review reveal a lack of consensus regarding the definition of the concept. Moreover, since most studies focus on a certain subgroup in the population, it is hard to compare profile characteristics of people living in different forms of homelessness. The applied research methods prove to be valuable, although they often underestimate the number and/or character of the phenomena. Very little longitudinal research on hidden homelessness seems to be available. Based on the findings of the scoping review, the article draws up an agenda for further research in order to capture the complex reality of contemporary forms of homelessness.

Context: The nose and lips area play an important role in facial appearance and nasolabial angle (NLA) can be considered as a determinant factor for attractiveness. The perception of beauty and attractiveness is vastly influenced by media and thus, can change with trends over time. The aim of this study was to conduct a systematic review of literature on NLA in faces perceived as attractive over time and in different ethnic groups. Evidence Acquisition: This study was performed following preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analyses extension for Scoping Reviews (PRISMA-ScR) guideline. We conducted an electronic search using PubMed, Scopus, and Embase databases with the employment of MeSH and free text terms "beauty"[MeSH], "esthetics"[MeSH], "soft tissue", "nasolabial angle", "attractive" and "cephalometric analysis". The inclusion criteria were studies that indicated facial attractiveness by a panel of at least 10 judges, evaluated the soft tissue profile characteristics, and reported the preferred NLA. Results: The search results revealed 271 related articles, of which 21 studies investigated NLA as a conducive factor in profile attractiveness and were included in the review. The range of preferred NLA was 86° to 107° for men and 84° to 123.12° for women. Conclusions: The most pleasing lip position and subsequently NLA is influenced by variables including the observer and subject’s gender, and their ethnic background as well as time. Over all, NLA in faces perceived as attractive is more obtuse in women than men. Compared to white norms, NLA is more acute among Chinese and African-Americans, while amongst Iranian women, it is not distinctly far from North American Caucasians. Over the course of time, preferred NLA has significantly changed in women but has been unwavering in men.

The Covid-19 pandemic greatly affected the education sector in the Philippines. From the traditional face to face classroom teaching-learning, schools shifted to flexible learning and virtual classrooms; where learners and educators need to hurdle numerous difficulties such as resources, curriculum revisions and problems in internet connectivity. This is a major concern because the Philippines ranked 77 among the countries with the slowest and least stable Internet connection in the world. This collaborative research among different colleges and universities in the Philippines explored the prevailing concerns of virtual classroom learning to come up with a program that benefits learners and educators in the country. Utilizing descriptive-correlational design, an online survey using Google Form was conducted in the respondent schools after the implementation of virtual learning. A total of 2,444 students from different levels, private and government schools with varying age and sex participated through snowballing data gathering technique. Results revealed that the respondents’ considered themselves physically prepared; but they are not psychological-emotionally and financially prepared in their virtual classroom learning. The students experienced challenges in terms of teacher, curriculum and resources factors. The students perceived that most teachers are unaware that learners differ in terms of capabilities in online learning; thus, they prefer a student-friendly curriculum; and they suggested that the capability of students to have appropriate gadgets and internet connectivity should be looked into by the educators. Significant differences were established between the profile characteristics and preparedness and challenges experienced by the students in their virtual classroom learning. Furthermore, the preparedness and challenges experienced in virtual learning of the respondents are significantly correlated. A proposed program that benefits the students and educators was designed as an output of this research which is recommended for implementation in government and private schools in the Philippines.
