The article is devoted to the conceptual consideration of the formation and development of the theory of transport conflicts in the transport process. The early studies of transport conflicts by foreign scientists are shown. The authors come to the conclusion that traffic conflicts depend on the psychophysiology of road users, which must be taken into account in the psychology of traffic conflicts.

AbstractThis chapter presents a conceptual consideration of the centrality of ‘voice’ in the Criminal Justice System (CJS), particularly in respect of service development. The hidden perspectives of those who are ‘subject to’, working with or working in the CJS represent important aspects to consider when seeking to change, develop or evaluate services. After emphasising the turn to including the voices of those often excluded from participation we explore aspects of the contested concept of ‘vulnerability’ as a label often applied to those working with CJS. We widen this to consider the vulnerabilities by association that professional take on as popular discourses permeate perceptions of CJS cultures. Subsequently, we examine some of the ways in which the inclusion of hidden and potentially vulnerable voices of those citizens involved with CJS can assist the transformative development of services by irritating the normative perspectives. We advocate an approach based around critical ethnography as a means of sitting with and walking besides people intimately involved in CJS.

Theoretical and methodological bases of political corruption as a systemic problem are considered. Political corruption is analyzed as a complex political, socio-economic, legal phenomenon, its main features are studied, the main approaches to the interpretation of the concept of political corruption are systematized, the causes of corrupt economic relations are clarified. Emphasis is placed on the fact that political corruption is a specific element of the socio-political life of society and the state as a whole. It reduces the ability of public authorities to realistically and effectively solve various objectively arising social problems. The phenomenon of political corruption has a socio-global nature, mediated by a set of economic, political, socio-cultural factors of society. The conceptual consideration of this aspect of political corruption is based on the assertion that political corruption is a multilateral but holistic phenomenon. In other words, revealing political corruption in this aspect, it is necessary not only to identify its essential features in the framework of political, legal, socio-economic and socio-cultural approaches, but also to trace the relationship between them, to understand their combination in a single phenomenon. It turns out that the main mechanism of control of politicians, accountability to their voters are always civil society institutions, the absence of which, as well as the dependence of the legislative and judicial branches of government inevitably lead to political corruption, which in turn completes the cycle of political corruption. generates the production of such actions of the authorities.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to present a literature review and conceptual consideration of servitization in humanitarian logistics (HL) and provide a research agenda for HL scholars and insight for practitioners and by doing so will fill a gap in existing research and practice. Design/methodology/approach The paper uses a literature-based approach that extends concepts usually applied in a commercial context to the area of HL. Findings The paper initiates a discourse on the importance of taking into account servitization in developing and managing effective emergency relief chains. This paper argues that a broader servitization paradigm needs to be integrated for international humanitarian organisations (IHOs) to maintain a competitive advantage. Originality/value The authors investigate servitization as a management innovation in IHOs and plot a research agenda for scholars.

The developmental psychopathology perspective, which can be understood as both a conceptual approach and a scientific discipline, aims to integrate the historically distinct domains of child development and psychopathology toward the goal of advancing the understanding of children’s adaptation and maladaptation. This chapter provides an overview of the key concepts and methodologies that characterize the discipline, drawing heavily on seminal early work on the topic; these key concepts and methodologies are integrated with a consideration of current trends and concepts in the field. The current state of the field is summarized and outstanding issues that merit further conceptual consideration and research attention are highlighted.

Presented is the designing procedure of the research and teaching stand for testing of exhaust-driven turbogenerators. The SolidWorks environment was used in the design process. The necessary engineering analyses were carried out, such as: conceptual consideration, calculations of the turbogenerator thermodynamic circuit, energy balance, device efficiency calculations, strength calculations of the structure frame, etc. The strength calculations were carried out using SolidWorks software with Simulation package.
