This essay (re)views the development of Yoruba films according to the Yoruba traditional worldview about time: a term used synonymously with life, season or period, for it is not linear but cyclical, just as life, it is not straight. Therefore, the present trend in the Yoruba film industry, whereby skilled film producers now have their films premiered at and release to only cinemas where they could be watched legally and piracy is prevented, is seen in this paper as a return to the origin of the development of the Yoruba films. The Yoruba films started in 1976 at the cinema (past), metamorphosed into video mode in the 1990s which is still in place (present) and gradually going back to the cinema and the stage mode (future from now), which was its origin because the Ogunde dramatic tradition: a stage medium, is agreed as Yoruba film precursor.

Latin America is undergoing a profound reorganization. Though the worst years of the recession seem tobe behind us, the future remains fraught with uncertainty. Latin American nations will need to adapt tooperating in an increasingly deregulated and open economy governed by market sovereignty in thecoming years. Commitment to market forces, on the other hand, should not entail the State ceasing tointervene in the economy, but rather redefining the scope and intensity of its engagement. Futurepublic policies should shift away from managing a basic reality defined by governmental laws andcontrols and toward managing a more complex environment defined by numerous actors, private andpublic, operating under competitive norms and interacting with one another. Within this broadercontext, decentralization processes emerge as a primary forum for state transformation. This articlediscusses the primary qualities that must be retained by an economic adjustment plan aimed atachieving compatible fundamental macroeconomic balances and ensuring democracy's survival. Second, the study argues for seeing the present trend toward decentralization not only as a political byproductof democratic consolidation, but as a crucial component of a broader strategy of positive adjustment.

Extreme temperature change is one of the most urgent challenges facing our society. In recent years, extreme temperature has exerted a considerable influence on society and the global ecosystem. The Yangtze River Basin is not only an important growth belt of China’s social and economic development, but also the main commodity grain base in China. The purpose of this study is to study the extreme temperature indices in the Yangtze River Basin. In this study, the Mann–Kendall nonparametric test and R/S analysis method are used to analyze the spatial and temporal variation characteristics of major extreme temperature indices in the Yangtze River Basin from 1970 to 2014. The main conclusions are drawn as follows: (1) The occurrence of cold days (TX10), cold nights (TN10), ice days (ID), and frost days (FD) decrease at a rate of −0.66–−2.5 d/10a, respectively, while the occurrence of warm days (TX90), warm nights (TN90), summer days (SU), and tropical nights (TR) show statistically significant increasing trends at a rate of 2.2–4.73 d/10a. (2) The trends of the coldest day (TXn), coldest night (TNn), warmest day (TXx), warmest night (TNx), and diurnal temperature range (DTR), range from −0.003 to 0.5 °C/10a. (3) Spatially, the main cold indices and warm indices increase and decrease the most in the upper and lower reaches of the Yangtze River Basin. (4) DTR and TN90 show no abrupt changes; the main cold indices changed abruptly in the 1980s and the main warm indices changed abruptly in the late 1990s and early 2000s. (5) The extreme temperature indices are affected by the atmospheric circulation and urban heat island effect in the Yangtze River Basin. Relative indices and absolute indices will continue to maintain the present trend in the future. In short, the main cold indices of extreme temperature indices show a decreasing trend, the main warm indices of extreme temperature indices show an increasing trend, and cold indices and warm indices will continue to maintain the present trend in the future in the Yangtze River Basin. Extreme temperature has an important impact on agriculture, social, and economic development. Therefore, extreme temperature prediction and monitoring must be strengthened to reduce losses caused by extreme temperature disasters and to promote the sustainable development in Yangtze River Basin.

Obesity has been considered a complex and multifactorial disease that has almost affected one-third of the total world’s population. The present trend related to obesity has revealed that nearly 38% of the adults of the world’s population will suffer from the issues of being overweight by the year 2030. As per the ICMR-India study in the year 2015, the prevalence rate of obesity in India varies between 11.8% to 31.3%. The risk of cardiovascular diseases is prevalent around the world, and estimated CVD cases in the year 2015 were approximately 422.7 million, causing 17.6 million deaths (32%of global deaths) as per WHO statistics in 2016. The Indian health data of 2017 has revealed that 25.27% of the population have suffered mortality rate due to the occurrence of CVD in India. Hence, the implementation of health programs for identifying the community risk factors for preventing these diseases has evolved.

The COVID-19 pandemic has put a stop to the continuous progression in life expectancy at birth, in which Spain was one of the world leaders. Although this downward effect is a result of the present conjuncture and it is hoped that recovery will be swift in the coming years, this situation has led us to consider the evolution prior to the pandemic. It is true that the increase in number of years of life has been progressive and steady but, in recent years, these gains have not implied improved health among the older population. Disability-free life expectancy at the age of 65 has been very stable over time, but the figures are less encouraging when the presence of diseases and chronic conditions are taken into account. In this issue of Demographic Perspectives, we investigate whether there have been gains or losses in years of disease-free life for men and women at the age of 65 in Spain and by autonomous community (AC) in the years 2006, 2012, and 2017. The results indicate that increased life expectancy will also mean that people will live more time with diagnosed diseases unless the present trend is reversed. The most common ailments and conditions include hypertension, chronic back pain, diabetes, and heart disease. The differences between men and women tend to converge in years of life in good health, mainly as a result of a lengthening of time lived in poor health among men.Cabré, A. Psychosomatic disorders have now become a common disease in present global scenario due to Covid pandemic. People are always in panic due to morbidity of the disease whereas the livelihood has become a secondary morbid condition due to economic slowdown. Under the above global scenario almost every person is undergoing certain psychosomatic problems either one or both of the factors.  Apart from this, the present trend of competitive and conservative life-style has made young and old person to panic mental situations. The egoistic attitude of the human being and his inability to compromise his desire/demands tends to imbalance of temperament resulting into essential hypertension, insomnia, irritability etc. Ultimately such person becomes addicted to anxiolytic, anti-depressant and tranquilising drugs of modern medicine. Psychiatric disorders are commonly encountered by clinical medicine and the management includes psychotherapy, behavioural therapy, physical treatment with antipsychotic drugs, but the post management leads to addiction or drug dependence along with morbid withdrawal symptoms in patients. In view of problems of dependence specific approach of Ayurvedic concept like Satwavajaya and Daivavyapasraya have provided the light of protection but the practices are still limited due to orthodox beliefs. Some psychotropic drugs like Medhyarasayana etc. in single and compound form are described in classical texts for the management of different mental disorders. The use of herbs to offset these antecedents and outcome has greatly increased in recent years. Not only it is helpful for psychosomatic issues rather it would be helpful at least in such Covid pandemic as because the anti-psychotic drugs are scarce in market due to heavy personal demands. Ayurvedic approach can also create a trend of revitalising herbal preparations keeping behind the hazardous post drug complication. It is an attempt for mainstreaming the Ayurveda in present scenario.

AbstractFor more than three decades, declining response rates have been of concern to both survey methodologists and practitioners. Still, international comparative studies have been scarce. In one of the first international trend analyses for the period 1980–1997, De Leeuw and De Heer (2002) describe that response rates declined over the years and that countries differed in response rates and nonresponse trends. In this article, we continued where De Leeuw and De Heer (2002) stopped, and present trend data for the next period 1998–2015 from National Statistical Institutes. When we looked at trends over time in this new data set, we found that response rates are still declining over the years. Furthermore, nonresponse trends do differ over countries, but not over surveys. Some countries show a steeper decline in response than others, but all types of surveys show the same downward trend. The differences in (non)response trends over countries can be partly explained by differences in survey design between the countries. Finally, for some countries cost indicators were available, these showed that costs increased over the years and are negatively correlated with noncontact rates.

Now a days Privacy-preserving of data is an essential philosophy in the digital computer era. As the leakage of preserved data has been increasing in the daily life. In this survey paper we have collected the different types of privateness maintenance in the view of big records of data , clinical and social networking data. In this paper we had explained deeply about the privacy preserving methods on these three types of data. We also gathered the various implementations which are implemented by various researchers until the present trend. In this survey paper we have given a clean view on the kind of arts of the secure and privateness maintaining techniques of big analytic data, in medical field data, and in social networking data. We also mentioned about the future works to be done for preserving the data. In now a days the attackers who stole the preserved data has been increased so we should increase the security levels of privacy gradually. In this survey paper we had mentioned what are the infrastructures that are preserving based on the type of data.

Present trend of Internet of Things (IoT) and sensors deployment increased in every sectors enormously from last one decade. But the deployment challenges of sensors and their networks with respect to their contextual dynamics and system performance is not much investigated. Hence there is a need to investigate the deployment challenges of sensors supporting the computing system that exactly imitates the phenomenon by understanding the context and other influencing parameters, i.e., to sense the environmental parameter values accurately and precisely from the respective embedded sensor system. In this paper, a methodology is proposed to analyze the performance of embedded Wireless Sensor Networks (eWSNs) with respect to energy efficiency based on sensors deployment. The method involves in clustering the sensor nodes based on distance from the phenomenon and its physical location. Sensors and sensor network lifetime energy consumption for data acquisition is analyzed using Markovian model. Simulation platform for random deployment of sensor nodes along with Self Organizing map neural network for clustering with various cases of sensors deployment, network dynamics and environment are studied to understand the performance of the embedded WSN system for energy efficiency.
