In this paper, authors are interested in the problem of lossless compression of unlabeled semi-ordered trees. Semi-ordered trees are a class of trees that present an order between some sibling while some other sibling are unordered. They offer a wide possibility of applications especially for the representation of plants architecture. Authors show that these trees present remarkable compression properties covering those of ordered and unordered trees. To illustrate this approach, authors apply these notions to a particular class of semi-ordered trees which is the most studied branching structure particularly for a botanical motivation, namely axial trees.

Dendrimers comprise a specific group of macromolecules, which combine structural properties of both single molecules and long expanded polymers. The three-dimensional form of dendrimers and the extensive possibilities for use of additional substrates for their construction creates a multivalent potential and a wide possibility for medical, diagnostic and environmental purposes. Depending on their composition and structure, dendrimers have been of interest in many fields of science, ranging from chemistry, biotechnology to biochemical applications. These compounds have found wide application from the production of catalysts for their use as antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral agents. Of particular interest are peptide dendrimers as a medium for transport of therapeutic substances: synthetic vaccines against parasites, bacteria and viruses, contrast agents used in MRI, antibodies and genetic material. This review focuses on the description of the current classes of dendrimers, the methodology for their synthesis and briefly drawbacks of their properties and their use as potential therapies against infectious diseases.

The paper provide a comprehensive review on water turbine integrated with electrical generator. The integration consists in combining the generator with the turbine in one device without the use of a gearbox. The practical implementations of these solutions date back to the 1980s and are more and more common. Such a solution gives a wide possibility of integration and reduction of costs of the hydro unit, however, due to certain technological problems, it is not widely available. This article classifies the different types of integration and analyses it from a technical and economic point of view. Practical implementations and operational problems were also shown.

Toothed-lever and cam-toothed-lever mechanisms are widely used in technological equipment of automatic and semi-automatic action to convert the one-way rotational motion of the input link into one-way rotary motion of the output link with periodic stops. To ensure periodic rotation with a precise fixed length, an elastic element with a preload of two-sided action is introduced into the mechanism, as a result of which the mechanism has a variable structure. Compared to other mechanisms of periodic rotation, in gear-link mechanisms there is a wide possibility of influencing the function of the position of the output link, the angle of reverse rotation and the relative displacements of the links connected to each other by an elastic element by changing the lengths of the links of the basic hinged four-link

In this paper, the author studies of Communicatio in Sacris as an act of sharing sacraments among Christians. This study begins with the author's observation regarding of relation among Christians at this time. In the past centuries, many dissensions happened and large communities were separated from full communion with Catholic Church. Each excludes others to take part in its own liturgy. However, it should be kept in mind, that unity which Christ willed, stood at the very heart of the Church’s mission. At every era, there have been figures who do not only defend the Church but also open the Church to other Christians, especially, in her liturgical services. It has begun a long the history of the Church. It is sufficient to simply to mention two of them. In 1244 Innocent IV allowed Dominicans to minister separated Christian communities by sharing the Eucharist with them. In modern age, John XXIII who led the 2nd Vatican Council  has brought Catholic Church even more open toward other Churches, giving a wide possibility to share sacraments with non Catholic. The purpose of all these actions is for the goodness of souls. The method used in this article is a qualitative research, by analyzing the Church view of communicatio in sacris. The author analyzed the Church documents: 2nd Vatican Council, Canon Law and other sources, including digital sources to support the analysis. From this study, the author found out that communicatio in sacris in its strict meaning means to share sacraments amongs Christians that becomes an instrument to foster fraternity among Christians.

It is important to evaluate the risks in industrial parks and their processes due to the consequences of major accidents and especially the domino effect. Scientific works present a wide possibility of models to deal with these situations. In this work, based on the information extracted from the scientific literature, six groups of risk methodologies are defined, analyzed, and characterized with methods that cover the standards, preventive, probabilistic, traditional, modern, and dynamic evaluation that are applied or could be used in industrial parks. It also tries to achieve the objective of determining which are more appropriate if the possible situations and causes that can produce an accident are taken into account, identifying and evaluating them with characteristics of simultaneity and immediacy, determining the probability of an accident occurring with sufficient advance in time to avoid it under the use of a working operational procedure. There is no definitive methodology, and it is necessary that they complement each other, but considering the proposed objective, the integrated application of traditional methodologies together with the management of safety barriers, the dynamic evaluation of risks, and the inclusion of machine learning systems could fulfill the proposed objective.

Objective: to analyze the technological production of three professional master programs in the area of Nursing. Method: documentary research on primary sources. A total of 100 graduate nurses from three professional master’s programs in Nursing in the Southeastern region of Brazil were analyzed, based on the following variables: time of training, typology of products; context of products and technological and educational classification, welfare and management. The study was guided by the question: “How is the technological production of the dissertation of the professional master’s degree according to typology, context and technological classification? The analysis of the data was based on the construction of a table that categorized the products according to the typology. Results: development of techniques was the main type of product found, being expressed by flowcharts, protocols, guidelines and training courses. The products were mostly developed in the hospital context, in the educational technology format. Conclusion: the technological production of the analyzed programs is restricted, diffuse and, in its majority, of low social impact and has no relevance in the body of the dissertation. Despite the wide possibility of conclusion work, the dissertation, accompanied by an article and/or technical productions, is the main form of presentation.

1,3,4-Thiadiazole and oxadiazole hetetocycles are well-known pharmacophore scaffolds, which possess wide possibility for chemical modification and identified diverse pharmacological potential. Such essential and many-sided activities let to consider the mentioned heterocycles as ones of the crucial for expression of pharmacological activity, which confirm their importance for medicinal chemistry. Moreover, 1,3,4-oxadiazole cycle is a bioisostere for carboxylic, amide and ester groups, which mostly contribute to enhancement the pharmacological activity by participating in hydrogen bonding interactions with different enzymes and receptors. The aim of the work was analysis of literature data about biological activity of non-condensed heterocyclic systems based on 1,3,4-thia(oxa)diazole rings as promising objects for modern bioorganic and medicinal chemistry. In this study are presented the analysis of actual literature data about pharmacological activity of heterocyclic systems based on 1,3,4-thiadiazole. It has been established that mentioned scaffolds were identified as the main structural component of biological agents with antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, analgetic, antitumor antitubercular and antiviral activity. Moreover, the combination of 1,3,4-thiadiazole or 1,3,4-oxadiazole core with various heterocycles led to synergistic effect in many cases. Thus, mentioned scaffolds are important heterocyclic fragments that are considered as promising structural matrices for the construction of new drug-likes molecules. An analysis of the biological activity of 1,3,4-thia(oxa)diazole derivatives was carried out, which allowed to confirm their versatile pharmacological potential. Obtained data can be considered as background for further in-depth studies of chemical and pharmacological properties such heterocyclic systems with possible application in medicine.

Actions in benefit of cities must start from the appreciation and awareness of their importance by the population, and the lack of greater popular participation contributes to the existence of urban environments that are not properly appropriate and exploited in the wide possibility of their potentialities architectural, urban and landscaping. The “Praça Viva” project it is of an event of temporary occupation, of collective experience and revitalization of the relations near Square Santo Antônio, in Cachoeira do Sul/RS, so that it is no longer just a place of passage and becomes part of the day by day community. Carrying out an event with actions and urban interventions in a public square with the participation of the community come to the question of the right to the city, contributing to the commitment to the Brazilian sociocultural reality, by expanding citizen participation in the transformation of reality and space In which we live.
