Abstract In this study, UV irradiance and UV erythemal and UV index data of May, June, July and August measured in Adana (longitute=36 E, latitute=37 N altitute=140m) between 2013 and 2019 were analyzed. As a result of the analysis, the average of four months was 14.16 MED (2.9736 J/m2) and the highest value of these four months was calculated as 15.6 MED (3.276 J/m2) in July. The percentage frequency of the total daily UV dose was also calculated and it was determined that the region was under the effect of 70-80% high UV dose. In addition, it was calculated to have a high UV index according to local time (10.00-14.00). It was concluded that this situation poses a great risk for workers working in agricultural areas in the region and for people who spend their summer holidays by the sea. UV Dose-Ozone, UV Dose-temperature, UV Dose-humidity and Ozone-temperature correlations were also calculated. As a result of the comparison, it was found that there was an R= -0.64 correlation between UV-ozone, an R= -1.00 correlation between temperature and ozone, and a direct correlation of R= 0.60 between UV radiation and temperature.

This study aims to prove the Gender Mainstreaming strategy which is analyzed from the achievements of the Gender Empowerment Index from 2010 to 2020. To prove the Gender Mainstreaming strategy, the author uses an index measurement approach from the indicators forming the Gender Empowerment Index which is then analyzed descriptively. It was found that the implementation of the Gender Mainstreaming strategy in Indonesia has not been optimal. The average achievement of the gender empowerment index from 2010 to 2020 was 71.39, which is still far from the perfect ratio of 100. Judging from its forming indicators, it was found that the representation of women in parliament from 2010 to 2020 was still below 30 percent, then women as the professional workforce are still growing at 40 percent which has not yet reached the 50 percent equality level, and the contribution of women's income has experienced an increasing trend which reflects that women have been included in the workforce, but the increase has been slow.

Various types of video player applications have been widely used by the community. The emergence of the latest version and a variety of features make people need to make a choice to use a video player application with a good visual level. The type of video that is often played is a file with an MP4 extension. This file type is not heavy but is usually intended for long file durations such as movies. In this paper, we will use a dataset in the form of a movie file with an MP4 extension. The video player applications used include VLC, Quick time, Potplayer, KMPLayer, Media Player Classic (MPC), DivX Player, ACG Player, Kodi, MediaMonkey. Through various empirical calculations, such as Mean Square Error (MSE), Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR), Structutral Similarity Index Measurement (SSIM), Threshold F-ratio, Visual Signal to Noise Ratio (VSNR), Visual Quality Metric (VQM), and Multiscale - Structutral Similarity Index Measurement (MS-SSIM) has analyzed the visual capabilities of each video player application. Experimental results prove that the KMPlayer application gets the best visual results compared to other selected applications.

The prevalence of hypertension in coastal areas was still high between 2007 and 2018 with the highest prevalence in 2007 at 53.3%. The purpose of this research was to analyze the prediction of hypertension based on the determinants of the lifestyle of the coastal population. The type of this research is using cross-sectional research design, with a total sample of 210 people in the coastal area of Medan Belawan. The data were collected using an instrument in the form of a questionnaire, body mass index measurement using a manual weight balance and a stature meter and blood pressure using an sphygmomanometer aneroid. The selection of candidates as predictive variables is carried out by chi-square test analysis, followed by multivariate analysis using binary logistic regression test and the formulation model to find predictions hypertension, namely age ≥ 45 years has a 3.040 times greater risk of suffering from hypertension than age 45 years (p = 0.001; 95% CI = 1.549-5.966) and obesity nutritional status has a large 2.284 times greater risk of suffering from hypertension than nutritional status was not obese (p = 0.028; 95% CI = 1.091-4.780). The results of the calculation of the probability from the modeling, it is found that if a person is ≥ 45 years old and has a nutritional status of obesity, the probability of suffering hypertension is 99.99%.

Abstract A new design of a differential flow refractometer has been developed to monitor the condition of flowing media in a pipeline. A new method of refractive index measurement has been implemented, taking into account the specifics of flowing and closed cuvette arrangement, as well as the angles of incidence of laser radiation on their walls. The effect of changes in the optical density in the flowing liquid on the refractive index measurement result is determined. The results of experimental investigations of different media are presented.

Abstract Background The ankle-brachial index measurement is used for screening and diagnosis of lower-extremity peripheral artery disease and cardiovascular risk assessment. However, the value is occasionally unreliable since the oscillometric ankle-brachial index can be elevated and falsely normalized despite the presence of lower-extremity peripheral artery disease because of the incompressibility of infrapopliteal arteries at the ankle, potentially leading to a missed diagnosis of lower-extremity peripheral artery disease or underestimation of cardiovascular risk. Case presentation We report two cases of lower extremity peripheral artery disease with normal ankle-brachial index (a 76-year-old Asian man and a 66-year-old Asian man). In both cases, the ankle-brachial index was within the normal range (1.00–1.40) despite the presence of lower-extremity peripheral artery disease, whereas upstroke time at the ankle calculated from the pulse volume waveform simultaneously obtained by plethysmography during the ankle-brachial index measurement was prolonged (≥ 180 milliseconds). Diagnostic imaging tests revealed the presence of occlusive arterial disease in the lower extremity and severe calcification of infrapopliteal arteries. Conclusions In both cases, the oscillometric ankle-brachial index might have been falsely normalized despite the presence of lower-extremity peripheral artery disease because of calcified incompressible infrapopliteal arteries. Sole reliance on the ankle-brachial index value may lead to a missed diagnosis of lower-extremity peripheral artery disease or underestimation of cardiovascular risk. Upstroke time at the ankle was helpful for suspecting the presence of lower-extremity peripheral artery disease in both patients with normal ankle-brachial index. In addition to history-taking and vascular examination, upstroke time at the ankle should be carefully checked for accurate diagnosis of peripheral artery disease and cardiovascular risk assessment in patients with normal ankle-brachial index.
