AbstractAutistic individuals report barriers to accessing and receiving healthcare, and experience increased morbidity and mortality. This systematic review synthesizes 31 research studies evaluating interventions implemented to improve the healthcare experiences and/or access of autistic persons. Interventions were most commonly patient-focused (58.1%), focused on supporting the autistic individual to engage with, tolerate, or anticipate medical procedures, care, or settings. Fewer studies were provider-focused (48.4%) or organization-focused (6.5%). Interventions were typically evaluated using measures of reactions (45.2%) or behavior (48.4%), and outcomes were predominantly positive (80.6%). Further research is imperative and should look to how providers and organizations must change. Future research must be inclusive of the autistic community, must measure what matters, and must offer complete detail on interventions implemented.

There was a fury of the pandemic because of novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV/SARS-CoV-2) that happened in Wuhan, Hubei province, in China in December 2019. Since then, many model predictions on the COVID-19 pandemic in Wuhan and other parts of China have been reported. The first incident of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in India was reported on 30 January 2020, which was a student from Wuhan. The number of reported cases has started to increase day by day after 30 February 2020. The purpose of this investigation is to provide a prediction of the epidemic peak for COVID-19 in India by utilizing real-time data from 30 February to 14 April 2020. We apply the well-known epidemic compartmental model "SEIR" to predict the epidemic peak of COVID-19, India. Since we do not have the complete detail of the infective population, using the available infected population data, we identify the R0 by using polynomial regression. By using the third-order polynomial equation, we estimate that the basic reproduction number for the epidemic in India is R0 = 3.3 (95%CI, 3.1 to 3.5), and the epidemic peak could be reached by September 2020.

Medical image analysis plays a more and more major role in medicine. Detection and analysis of risks causing cancer and other medical issues in early-stage help to prevent death. PET, CT, X-ray and MRI are the medical imagining techniques used. There have been a number of researches have done on constructing the 3D model for better analysis of the structure. The paper is proposed about the construction of a 3D brain model using 2D slices of MRI. The 3 different images of the brain are considered (T1, T2 and PD). The image registration is applied to T1, T2 and PD and fusion is done. The fused image includes of the complete detail of the brain, these 2D slices are used to construct the 3D model. The 3D map is created and surface to volume construction is applied to build the 3D model.

AbstractIndiaBioDb (https://webs.iiitd.edu.in/raghava/indiabiodb/) is a manually curated comprehensive repository of bioinformatics resources developed and maintained by Indian researchers. This repository maintains information about 543 freely accessible functional resources that include around 258 biological databases. Each entry provides a complete detail about a resource that includes the name of resources, web link, detail of publication, information about the corresponding author, name of institute, type of resource. A user-friendly searching module has been integrated, which allows users to search our repository on any field. In order to retrieve categorized information, we integrate the browsing facility in this repository. This database can be utilized for extracting the useful information regarding the present scenario of bioinformatics inclusive of all research labs funded by government and private bodies of India. In addition to web interface, we also developed mobile to facilitate the scientific community.

The cranial nerves are the most important neural structures relevant to dental students and practitioners. The cranial nerves are the nerve supply to all the structures in the head and neck and underpin of the anatomy and function of these regions—the head and neck will not work without them. In a wider context, correct functioning of the cranial nerves is a very good indicator of the health or otherwise of the CNS; it may be necessary to test the function of some, or even all, of the cranial nerves at times to assess neural function. In addition, many of the cranial nerves may be involved in various diseases of the head and neck. As outlined in Chapter 3, 12 pairs of cranial nerves arising from the brain form one major component of the peripheral nervous system, the 31 pairs of spinal nerves forming the other. Each pair of cranial nerves has a name and number. Conventionally, they are numbered using the Roman numerals I to XII. The nerves are numbered from one to 12, according to their origin from the brain; nerves with the lowest numbers arise from the most anterior aspect of the brain (the forebrain) whereas those with highest numbers arise from the lowest part (the medulla). Several aspects of any nerve anywhere in the body are required to d escribe its anatomy and function in complete detail: • Its origins and terminations in the CNS; • Its neuronal components—are they motor, sensory, or autonomic? • Its course to and from its target tissues; • Its distribution to specific areas and structures through specific branches; • Its overall functions and specific functions of its component parts. In addition, if the clinical significance is going to be appreciated, we w ill also need to consider: • The effects of damage or disease on the nerve; • Its important relationships to other structures; • How to test whether the nerve is functioning correctly. Given that there are 12 pairs of nerves, does a competent dentist need to know everything in the two lists about every cranial nerve? The answer, you will be relieved to hear, is ‘no’.

The value of experiential learning is explored as it has now become a given among educators and corporate leaders that a university must provide experiential learning programs such as internships; real-life cases in marketing research, advertising, etc.; and voluntary student participation in income tax preparation for the needy and elderly; and many additional types of programs to promote the application of learning and involvement with the world of work.  The paper presents one unique experiential learning program in complete detail—Student in Free Enterprise’s Walgreens Wrangle.  This is a twelve-university business strategy competition sponsored by the Students in Free Enterprise team at Southern Arkansas University that has the three-day involvement of managers of four major corporations.  This period of time to interact both professionally and socially with a corporate group has proven to be invaluable to business majors and provided them with many experiential learning experiences.

In a recent review, A. Groth and coworkers presented a comprehensive account of nucleosome disassembly in front of a DNA replication fork, assembly behind the replication fork, and the copying of epigenetic information onto the replicated chromatin. Understanding those processes however would be enhanced by a comprehensive graphical depiction analogous to a circuit diagram. Accordingly, we have constructed a molecular interaction map (MIM) that preserves in essentially complete detail the processes described by Groth et al. The MIM organizes and elucidates the information presented by Groth et al. on the complexities of chromatin replication, thereby providing a tool for system-level comprehension of the effects of genetic mutations, altered gene expression, and pharmacologic intervention.

The model provides quarterly forecasts of collections disaggregated by withheld taxes, declarations payments, final payments, and refunds.
