Previously, it was shown that some people are better coordinators than others; however, the relative weight of intuitive (system 1) versus deliberate (system 2) modes of thinking in tacit coordination tasks is still not resolved. To address this question, we have extracted an electrophysiological index, the theta-beta ratio (TBR), from the Electroencephalography (EEG) recorded from participants while they were engaged in a semantic coordination task. Results have shown that individual coordination ability, game difficulty and response time are each positively correlated with cognitive load. These results suggest that better coordinators rely more on complex thought process and on more deliberate thinking while coordinating. The model we have presented may be used for the assessment of the depth of reasoning individuals engage in when facing different tasks requiring different degrees of allocation of resources. The findings as well as future research directions are discussed.

Three Cd(II) coordination complexes with unique structures and topologies, namely, {[Cd(tttmb)(Hbtc)]·5H2O}n (1), {[Cd(tttmb)(m-phda)(H2O)]·2H2O}n (2), and {[Cd(tttmb)(o-cpla)]·(CH3CN)·(H2O)1.5}n (3), have been successfully synthesized under hydro(solvo)thermally condition based on a flexible tripodal N-contained ligand 1,3,5-tris(1,2,4-triazol-1-ylmethyl)-2,4,6-trimethylbenzene (tttmb) and aromatic polycarboxylate acids (H3btc = 1,2,4-benzenetricarboxylic acid, m-H2phda = 1,3-phenylenediacetic acid and o-H2cpla = Homophthalic acid). Complexes 1–3 were characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, X-ray single-crystal diffraction and thermogravimetric analyses. 1 crystallize in the orthorhombic chiral space group P212121 and feature 3D coordination networks. 2 reveals a 2D ladder-like structure with (4,4) topology containing alternating Cd(II)/m-phda2− left- and right-handed helical motifs. 3 exhibits a 3D net with (63)(66)(7·82) topology. The structural and dimensional diversity of these complexes not only indicates that the flexible ligand tttmb exhibits strong coordination ability and diverse coordination modes, but also shows that aromatic polycarboxylates play important roles in constructing the frameworks of complexes. Moreover, the different photoluminescence behaviors of 1–3 have been studied in the solid state.

Abstract The effect of the coordination ability of the solvent species on the Mg plating/stripping behavior was investigated. The Mg plating reaction in Mg(N(CF3SO2)2)2/diglyme was inhibited by the equimolar of 15-crown-5 ether (15C5) to Mg2+-ion. On the other hand, Mg plating took place in the solution by reducing the amount of 15C5 less than that of Mg2+-ion. FT-IR spectra showed that 15C5 preferentially solvated Mg2+-ion in the glyme based solutions. The theoretical calculation indicated the interaction between Mg2+-ion and each O atom in 15C5 was stronger than that with diglyme or larger sized crown ether. The results showed that the coordination ability of the solvent species could be the critical for the Mg plating reaction.

Abstract Background: In order to find out the competency elements of excellent front-line health inspector, and to improve the comprehensive quality and law enforcement level, we conducted this study. Methods: From May to September in 2020, seven health inspectors engaged in front-line inspection and law enforcement work in the Pudong New Area Health Inspection agency were interviewed by using the method of key Behavior Event Interview (BEI). The competency differences of front-line personnel with different performance levels were compared. Combined with the results of expert consultation, the prominent competency elements of excellent front-line health inspector were found out. Results: The total 6 prominent competency elements were investigation and evidence collection ability, on-site control ability, legal awareness, career love, communication and coordination ability, teamwork ability. Cohen's Kappa coefficient of the two coders was more than 0.6, which had high consistency. Conclusion: The key Behavior Event Interview (BEI) is scientific and reasonable method to find out prominent competency elements of excellent front-line health inspector, and the prominent competency elements found out will be helpful in the human resources planning and management of health inspection in the future.

In the clinical course of the treatment, impartial representation of the patients’ rehabilitation state is a necessary condition for taking the best treatment to match the state of the current recovery. Bridge-style movement is one of the earliest training programs of the bed position change and is also the basis of successful standing and walking training because the bridge-style movement can inhibit the spasticity pattern of lower limb extensors and improve the control and coordination ability from the pelvis to lower limb. However, patients’ bridge-style movement planning for the current rehabilitation state largely depends on therapists’ clinical experience and subjective that may deteriorate the rehabilitation effect. Thus, it is necessary for hemiplegic patients to develop quantitative motor function assessment to judge its current rehabilitation state. This paper proposes a quantitative evaluating method to detect patients’ bridge-style movement posture and analyze their motion abilities. The real-time postural change of the bridge-style movement can be acquired by the inertial sensors attached to the waist, thigh, and crus. The bridge-style movement process of patients is recorded and analyzed by the software processing program. Finally, the experiment can be carried out to verify the feasibility and correctness of the evaluation method. The experimental results show that the evaluation method can judge patients’ current motion ability and rehabilitation state. And it is helpful for therapists to carry out targeted training for patients’ state.

Abstract Background: The aim of the study was to investigate the work competence of GPs in community health services(CHS) in Shanghai, China. Methods: A questionnaire was designed on the basis of a previous capacity evaluation indicator system. We adopted a stratified and proportional cluster sampling method in this self-assessment and cross-sectional study. We collected data on GPs demographic variables and work competence which was separated as patient care ability, teaching ability, communication skill and coordination ability, using the questionnaire. Results: A total of 2954 GPs were sampled from 116 CHS in Shanghai. The median score of patient care ability, teaching ability, communication skill and coordination ability were 80[70-88.75], 76[60-80] and 80[70-85] on a scale of 100, respectively. GPs who were 30-39 years old, worked in urban CHS, and participated in GP trainer’s training or had teaching experience got higher scores in patient care ability. GPs who worked for 5-20 years in CHS, worked in training CHSs and participated in GP trainer’s training program had higher scores in teaching ability. As for communication skill and coordination ability, GPs who were older than 30-39 years old and with a senior professional title, worked in training CHS, participated in GP trainer’s training and had teaching experiences in CHS got higher scores. Conclusions: The work competence of GPs in Shanghai’s CHS largely meets the requirements of daily practice, but there is still great improving space in the aspect of teaching ability.

Atmospheric Particulate Matter (PM) is one of the leading environmental risk factors for the global burden of disease. Increasing epidemiological studies demonstrated that PM plays a significant role in CNS demyelinating disorders; however, there is no direct testimony of this, and yet the molecular mechanism by which the occurrence remains unclear. Using multiple in vivo and in vitro strategies, in the present study we demonstrate that PM exposure aggravates neuroinflammation, myelin injury, and dysfunction of movement coordination ability via boosting microglial pro inflammatory activities, in both the pathological demyelination and physiological myelinogenesis animal models. Indeed, pharmacological disturbance combined with RNA seq and ChIP seq suggests that TLR-4/NF-κB signaling mediated a core network of genes that control PM triggered microglia pathogenicity. In summary, our study defines a novel atmospheric environmental mechanism that mediates PM aggravated microglia pathogenic activities, and establishes a systematic approach for the investigation of the effects of environmental exposure in neurologic disorders.
