QuillBot is an online application to paraphrase writing, avoid plagiarism, summarize long sentences and improve grammar to be more precise and look professional. The objective of this research is to review the QuillBot as an Artificial Intelligence (AI) tool system for students’ in paraphrasing and rewriting English writing both in the free and premium versions. This research applies descriptive qualitative. The data used is an English abstract article. The results show that QuillBot paraphrasing tools use several ways to paraphrase the text: 1) paraphrasing by using equations or synonyms, 2) paraphrasing by changing the form of the word, 3) paraphrasing by using active or passive sentences, and 4) paraphrasing by changing the order of words in sentences. This paraphrasing uses Standard Mode, which serves to balance changes to the text when users input them but still keeps them from changing the actual (original) meaning of the text, also making the result look more original. QuillBot is one of the paraphrasings and summarizing tools that can be used by students for rewriting any content based on a state-of-the-art AI system. This tool can be the students’ alternative which provides a solution by helping paraphrase when students do not have the idea to paraphrase English writing manually. However, a good knowledge of vocabulary and understanding of English grammar, of course, will help students or other users (s) both in using online or manual paraphrasing to be better or the best quality.

Clinical symptoms of tuberculosis in association with cystic fibrosis was determined by summation of the manifestations of comorbidity and proceeded as severe chronic pneumonia, recurrent continuously, with marked airway obstruction syndrome. Tuberculous inflammation was characterized by a larger lesion area, destruction of the lung tissue and the detection of MBT in sputum. Regardless of the presence of concomitant pathology, chemotherapy was used in standard mode.

Video therapy can be a great help when seeing patients face to face is not possible, as has widely occurred due to the Covid-19 lockdown. We must unpack and fully understand video therapy as a type of practice, given that it is different from our standard mode of therapy. Through a specific clinical case, I will highlight a paradox of this type of therapy: namely, that the screen can act as an aid for the patient but an obstacle for the therapist. Specifically, its mediation can support emotionally coerced patients to express and contact their emotions better, whilst this same screen can act as an obstacle for the therapist who may struggle to contain the patient emotionally. The clinical case I will discuss is about Judy, a patient who suffered relational trauma from early childhood, with whom I struggled to contain emotionally in her first real connection with her feelings, which occurred through video therapy.

Introduction: It has been reported that even using the swept-source optical coherence biometer, it is challenging to measure the axial length (AL) in cases with advanced cataracts. The enhanced retina visualization (ERV) mode, which is equipped with OCTB1 (ARGOS), shifts the peak of measurement sensitivity to the retina side so that the AL can be measured even if the light energy is attenuated. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the accuracy and efficacy of the ERV mode in measuring the AL of dense cataracts. Methods: This was a single-center retrospective observational case series conducted in Japan. We included 213 eyes of 213 consecutive patients with advanced cataracts who underwent preoperative evaluation. The AL was measured before and after surgery using two swept-source (SS) optical coherence tomography biometers (OCTB1, OCTB2; IOLMaster 700). Cases in which OCTB1 the standard mode failed to measure AL, OCTB1 with the ERV mode was used instead. Primary outcome measures were the acquisition rate and the AL measurement accuracy using the ERV mode. The Chi-square test, the Kruskal-Wallis test, and the Wilcoxon signed-rank test were used to compare the acquisition rate, differences between pre- and post-operative AL values, respectively. In the ERV subgroup, Bland-Altman plots were used to compare the pre- and post-operative AL values measured using OCTB1-ERV mode. A p-value of less than 5% was considered statistically significant. Results: The AL acquisition rate was not significantly different between OCTB1 with the standard mode and OCTB2. The AL of 65 eyes (30.5%) could not be measured using OCTB1 with the standard mode. Conversely, the AL of 51 of these eyes (78.5%) was successfully measured using OCTB1 with the ERV mode. In these 51 eyes, a difference of ≤0.2 mm and of ≤0.1 mm between pre- and post-operative AL measurements was observed in 40 (78.4%) and 30 eyes (58.8%), respectively. The Bland-Altman plot found no systematic error between pre- and post-operative AL values measured using the ERV mode. Conclusion: In patients with dense cataracts, AL measurement using the standard mode of an SS-OCT biometer is challenging. Furthermore, the ERV mode could be promising for AL measurement in such cases.

Mould and process are developed for an injection molding rejuvenation technique of cable insulation failure. Disregard the traditional clue that repair does not expand original damage in size and space, a new rejuvenation technique, i.e. injection molding, is developed for restoring cable insulation failure. In this technique the uncertain damage in size and space was replaced by a standard eliminated size and space. In this way, an expanded original damage with certain size and space is firstly made around cable insulation failure section. But the damage situation was modified to a standard mode so that a mould technology can be well applied to filling the modified size and space. In addition, the bigger size and space is applied by mould for over-filling the modified size and space. Then a standard process should be constructed by the repair practices till the quality testing verifies that a successful rejuvenation is reached. Applied practice has verified the applicability and availability of the present technique.

Introduction: MECT is a unique procedure where psychiatrist and anesthesiologist work together as a team. It is estimated that annually, approximately 1 million patients receive ECT worldwide. Due to association of physical complications like long bone and vertebrae fractures with direct ECT, anesthesia has been integrated into ECT. MECT is now the globally accepted standard mode of ECT. This study was done to see the Socio-demographic and clinical profile of patients receiving MECT. Material And Method: This is a hospital-based study done in BG hospital and Research Centre, Pokhara, Nepal for the duration of 12 months; from Baisakh, 2074 to Chaitra, 2074. A total of 50 consecutives cases that received MECT were enrolled after written informed consent for the ECT from the patients’ caretaker. The patient’s details, diagnosis and the numbers of cycles of MECT thus applied till clinical improvement were noted during the study period. MECT was administered on alternate days. The assessment of clinical improvement was done by the consultant psychiatrist. Following the protocol, each cycle of MECT was applied by consultant psychiatrist in the presence of the consultant anesthesiologist. Results: The total number of cases enrolled were 50. Out of 50 cases, 41 (82%) were male and mean age was 30.60 ± 10.13 years. The most common indications for MECT were BPAD (74%). The number of cycles of modified MECT applied on the individuals ranged from 6 to 18 cycles. Majority of the cases (78%) seem to have a clinical improvement after 6 cycles of modified ECT. There was no complication that warranted the termination of MECT. Conclusion: MECT when used judiciously is safe and leads to better clinical improvement.

Prion diseases are proteopathies that cause neurodegenerative disorders in humans and animals. Prion is highly resistant to both chemical and physical inactivation. Here, vaporized gas derived from a hydrogen peroxide–peracetic acid mixture (VHPPA) was evaluated for its ability to inactivate prion using a STERIACE 100 instrument (Saraya Co., Ltd.). Brain homogenates of scrapie (Chandler strain) prion-infected mice were placed on a cover glass, air-dried, sealed in a Tyvek package, and subjected to VHPPA treatment at 50–55 °C using 8% hydrogen peroxide and <10% peracetic acid for 47 min (standard mode, SD) or 30 min (quick mode, QC). Untreated control samples were prepared in the same way but without VHPPA. The resulting samples were treated with proteinase K (PK) to separate PK-resistant prion protein (PrPres), as a marker of the abnormal isoform (PrPSc). Immunoblotting showed that PrPres was reduced by both SD and QC VHPPA treatments. PrPres bands were detected after protein misfolding cyclic amplification of control but not VHPPA-treated samples. In mice injected with prion samples, VHPPA treatment of prion significantly prolonged survival relative to untreated samples, suggesting that it decreases prion infectivity. Taken together, the results show that VHPPA inactivates prions and might be applied to the sterilization of contaminated heat-sensitive medical devices.

Under the influence of novel corona virus pneumonia epidemic, the protection of traditional villages is put forward higher request. The spread of the epidemic among villages will make the situation of epidemic prevention and control more difficult. As an important part of culture, traditional villages have high historical value. In this paper, the traditional village protection method, a new geographical data algorithm IData storage method. Compared with the traditional ArcGIS method, it improves the efficiency and accuracy of topographic map entry. IData’s data factory can use the symbolic technology of skeleton lines to represent all the figures in the national standard mode, and any complex figure can only be represented by one element. Idate can quickly load data and render symbols in a drawing. With the powerful data processing engine of IData data factory, we can check out the errors that other software can’t find and process the data automatically. Records of the loss of traditional villages can be recorded quickly. The establishment and protection of traditional villages have had a beneficial impact.

To date, there have been no studies on the sterilization of prions by non-concentrated and concentrated vaporized hydrogen peroxide (VHP) applied by the same instrument. Here, the effect of the two types of VHP applied using an ES-700 sterilizer on prions was investigated. Brain homogenate from scrapie (Chandler) prion-infected mice was spotted on a cover glass and subjected to ES-700 treatment in soft (non-concentrated VHP from 59% hydrogen peroxide) or standard (concentrated VHP from 80% hydrogen peroxide) mode. Proteinase K-resistant prion protein (PrPres), an indicator of the abnormal isoform of prion protein (PrPSc), was reduced by ES-700 treatment under several conditions: SFT1/4 (soft mode, quarter cycle), SFT1/2 (soft mode, half cycle), SFT1 (soft mode, full cycle), and STD1/2 (standard mode, half cycle). PrPres was detected after the first and second rounds of protein misfolding cyclic amplification (PMCA) of untreated samples, but was undetectable in SFT1/4, SFT1/2, SFT1, and STD1/2 treated samples. In a mouse bioassay, SFT1/2 and STD1/2 treatment of prions significantly prolonged survival time, suggesting that prion infectivity is reduced after ES-700 treatment. In summary, both non-concentrated and concentrated VHP inactivate prions and may be useful for the low-temperature sterilization of prion-contaminated medical devices.
