Relevance and statement of a problem. Now processes of socialization of younger generation undergo profound changes. They are characterized by transformation of space-time characteristics – narrowing of the field purposeful, expansion of processes of spontaneous socialization. At the same time the methodological approaches and methods of a research aimed at the analysis of the static phenomena applied in pedagogics become insufficient for a research of chaotic processes. There is a need for search of methodology and methods of a research within which the analysis of processes of spontaneous socialization of modern children and teenagers is possible. Research search shows that the solution of this task is possible on the basis of nonclassical methodological approach. Research objective: identification of opportunities of nonclassical methodology for a research of processes of spontaneous socialization of the modern child. Research problems: representation of the methods in logic of nonclassical methodology aimed at the analysis of these processes. Object and subject of research: the situation of development of the child which is characterized by experiences concerning the relations and readiness for an exception of social interaction in various spheres of activity and immersion in the Internet environment. Subject domain of a research: complex of the relations which are the cornerstone of purposeful and spontaneous socialization of the teenager. Research methodology - nonclassical (anthropological) approach. Research materials. In the course of work on a problem the research methods based mainly on the individual and communicative practicians aimed at the analysis of experiences and communication of the child were developed. Results of a research. The qualitative methods based nonclassical approach will allow to understand not only experiences of the child, but also as negative trends under what conditions they lead to break in relations and to search of significant network contacts that is under what conditions processes of purposeful socialization are weakened collect in his social situation of development, extend borders of socialization spontaneous.

Several theoretical-methodological approaches in the social sciences facilitate the identification of the different ways in which individuals construct knowledge. These approaches also highlight the conditions necessary for the transfer of information from the individual to the social and vice versa. They are considered to form an acquired and transmitted holistic process of knowledge, which can even transform behavior. Two of these approaches are Social Representations and Epistemological Beliefs. Although considered to be distinct approaches, Social Representations and Epistemological Beliefs are closely linked through their shared convergent points even though their conceptualizations do not reflect this. The article highlights the convergences and divergences of both notions taking into consideration their specific theoretical approach up through their specific methodological approach using different studies undertaken and based on each one of them

Abstract. In the article, the authors propose a methodological approach to calculating the planetary cob-separating device used in corn harvesters and specialized headers. The dynamic characteristics of the planetary cob-separating device operation were investigated. The authors found out that the machine dynamics research problems are rather diverse due to the complexity of the dynamic processes occurring in them. The theoretical research methods prove to be of particular importance, since they make it possible to define the laws of machine unit motion, even at the stage of designing the planetary cob-separating device. (Research purpose) To propose a method for calculating the main kinematic and dynamic parameters of the vertical cob-separating device operation. (Materials and methods) The authors studied the methodological approaches and mathematical tools used to determine the main kinematic and dynamic parameters of the vertical cob-separating device operation; examined the scheme of a single-drum planetary cob-separating device in a corn harvester and built a differential equation of motion. (Results and discussion) After a step-by-step mathematical calculation with the use of the proposed methodological approach to studying the dynamic characteristics arising during the planetary cob-separating device operation, the following equations were obtained: starting the device at idle; starting the device with a load; feeding stems after starting the device; sudden interruption of the supply. When conducting the laboratory studies, it was determined that the cob-separating device showed the greatest effect at an angular speed of the drum within the range of 52.1-62.2 radians per second. (Conclusions) The authors considered four modes of the cob-separating device operation in a corn harvester and obtained the equations for them. The authors created a diagram of the vertical cob-separating device and proposed a methodological approach and an algorithm for calculating the main dynamic and kinematic indicators of its operation.

Introduction. Some requirements for determining the value of a trademark of regulatory accounting and independent valuation bases are substantially controversial. This fact creates a normative and legal collision between them. This leads to the high relevance of the problem of coordination of these requirements. Purpose. The article aims to investigate the influence of the revealed contradictions of regulatory accounting requirements and independent evaluation of the determination of a trademark value on the validity of the choice of valuation methodological approaches and procedures; search and justify the possible ways to overcome the identified collision; determine the value of the trademark of normative and legal accounting; offer solutions that make it possible to avoid uncertainties caused by the presence of contradictions established in the study; substantiate the choice of appropriate valuation of methodological approaches and specification of the peculiarities of performance of valuation procedures. Method (methodology). The general methodological basis of the study is to conduct a comparative analysis of the individual provisions of the normative accounting and independent valuation with the subsequent discovery of the existing contradictions and the synthesis of useful practical conclusions about the possibilities of contradictions coordination. Results. The list of costs that can be taken in to account when applying the cost approach to the value of a trademark has been analysed and specified. It has been revealed that these types of expenses from the point of view of the current legislative and normative and legal frame work of accounting are not considered as intangible assets. However, the fact of their implementation increases the value of trademarks that relate to intangible assets in terms of both regulatory bases under the investigation. It has been proposed to take into account expenses that indirectly relate to the trademark in its value only in part, using a lowering factor that is less than one. The appropriateness of the use of cost (property) methodological approach in assessing the market value of trademarks has been reasoned and theoretically grounded. It has been done as we can observe the normative and legal collision between the normative bases under investigation while applying methodical approaches.

AbstractComputer and Information Security (CIS) is usually approached adopting a technology-centric viewpoint, where the human components of sociotechnical systems are generally considered as their weakest part, with little consideration for the end users’ cognitive characteristics, needs and motivations. This paper presents a holistic/Human Factors (HF) approach, where the individual, organisational and technological factors are investigated in pilot healthcare organisations to show how HF vulnerabilities may impact on cybersecurity risks. An overview of current challenges in relation to cybersecurity is first provided, followed by the presentation of an integrated top–down and bottom–up methodology using qualitative and quantitative research methods to assess the level of maturity of the pilot organisations with respect to their capability to face and tackle cyber threats and attacks. This approach adopts a user-centred perspective, involving both the organisations’ management and employees, The results show that a better cyber-security culture does not always correspond with more rule compliant behaviour. In addition, conflicts among cybersecurity rules and procedures may trigger human vulnerabilities. In conclusion, the integration of traditional technical solutions with guidelines to enhance CIS systems by leveraging HF in cybersecurity may lead to the adoption of non-technical countermeasures (such as user awareness) for a comprehensive and holistic way to manage cyber security in organisations.

Rural differentiation processes have formed the backbone of rural studies. Owing to the strength of rural–urban and local–global relationships, the theoretical approaches to rural restructuring in the Anglo-Saxon world and new rurality in Latin America only have a limited capacity to explain contemporary global phenomena of rural spaces. Due to this, transverse theoretical and methodological approaches have emerged to explain social, environmental and spatial (rural) processes. Here, a new approach is proposed called the individual–global field, based on the individual–global binary category to substitute the traditional relevance of the locality–community–globality association This new approach tries to reinvigorate rural geography in a more flexible way, based on minor theory, to adapt to all the phenomena that can occur globally. In any case, various spatial planes are proposed, dominated by specific socioeconomic processes on which the rural individual would move.

The main goal of our article is to encourage personal reflection within the field of sport management as a tool to strengthen methodological approaches in our research. We explore and discuss the utility of collaborative self-ethnography as one way to acknowledge personal identities through a reflexive account of our experiences as sport fans and sport researchers with this methodology. We draw on a previous study of our experiences as sport fans to illustrate techniques, downfalls, and benefits of studying one’s experiences in a collaborative methodological approach. We have two objectives: First, we hope to encourage sport management researchers to acknowledge and reflect on their personal identities related to sport, such as being a fan, coach, volunteer, or former participant, in their research. Second, we aim to demonstrate the utility of collaborative self-ethnography as one way to incorporate reflexivity in sport management research and theory development.

AbstractThis paper revisits the concept ofcriticallegal pluralism, which treats the individual as a site of normativity with the capacity to create legal knowledge. To help operationalize the usage of critical legal pluralism, I propose a methodological approach that places the individual’s ability to makes choices along a continuum. On one side of continuum, legal pluralism can be viewed as facilitating fully discrete choices that ascribe to one legal order or another. On the other side, the ability to make individual choices is curtailed because of the presence of a hegemonic legal order. This simple continuum helps to shed light on the complex considerations that affect individual choices, which in turn affect how various legal orders are legitimated. The paper then considers how critical legal pluralism can enrich the discussion on the legal system of Afghanistan, focusing on interviews with two Afghan justice actors: a former judge and an active defence lawyer.

Subject. As digital technologies spread across all industries, active processes of digital transformation need to be managed both nationally and regionally. Assessing the extent of digitalization across types of economic activities is the key issue for setting up the socio-economic development strategy of the region and evaluating its efficiency. Objectives. The study is aimed to formulate and test methodological approaches to assessing the digitalization in types of economic activities and the potential of digital technologies for the real economy. Methods. The study relies upon the dialectical method, systems approach, questionnaires, expert approach, interpretation of empirical facts through tables, etc. Results. We devised a methodological approaches to assessing the extent of digitalization in types of economic activities across regions. The approach combines the quantification and evaluation of the process and helps determine the extent of local digital transformation at the regional level. We devised and tested the methodological approach to rating digital technologies, which have the high potential for raising the competitiveness and resilience to competition of the industrial sector in the Russian regions. As opposed to the existing approaches, the approach accounts for the current scale of digital technologies in the national economy, the potential for growth in the demand and supply in the domestic and foreign markets, and the potential for import substitution with respect to foreign technologies and products. Conclusions and Relevance. What makes the proposed methodological approaches more preferable is that they help assess not only the extent of digitalization in types of economic activities and the predominance of certain types in industrial enterprises, but also determine their potential for import substitution in terms of digital security.

The purpose of the article is to substantiate the theoretical and methodological approach to determining the key characteristics of the assessment of ecosystem assets of territorial communities related to water. The study considers the theoretical and methodological principles of assessing ecosystem assets for sustainable development of local communities. The initial methodological approaches of the accumulated world experience on the assessment of ecosystem services and ecosystem assets of local level territories in the context of three components (ecological, economic and social) in the context of water-related ecosystems are specified. An algorithm for estimating ecosystem assets is proposed. The key guidelines for assessing the ecosystem assets of territorial spatial entities based on European experience are revealed. The list of scientific recommendations for the assessment of water-related ecosystem assets to enhance the capacity of local communities and preserve and restore ecosystems is substantiated. The novelty of the study lies in the proposals for the implementation in Ukrainian practice of general approaches to the methodology of assessment of ecosystem assets and services, according to the recommendations of the international project of the European Commission “The Economics of Ecosystems and Biodiversity” (TEEB). The key Euro-benchmarks proposed by the author for the assessment of water-related ecosystem assets will help increase the investment attractiveness of spatial territorial formations and create preconditions for the development of a new economy on an ecosystem basis. Further research has prospects in the following areas: formation of a comprehensive strategic approach to the introduction of ecosystem asset valuation at the local level; development and introduction of effective methodological approaches to the assessment of ecosystem assets for the formation of investment attractiveness of the territory through the use of local natural resources, including water, as ecosystem assets of sustainable spatial development.
