Abstract The lithological and earth structures which compose the geologic process space are terribly fascinating to study. elaborated investigation of pre-tertiary rock subduction at the Woyla web site is rarely carried out. the variability of rocks derived from the Woyla oceanic plate, that folded on the West Sumatra continental plate within the Age of Reptiles era, illustrates the magnitude of the subduction impact mirrored in the structures that are still reflected in the abandoned rocks. The ways want to discover this subduction event are elaborated field observations, skinny section, XRD, and earth science structure measurements, supported by drones and satellite imagery. The lithology of basalt, flint, serpentine, marble, and arenaceous rock is vital to the presence of the Intraoceanic Arch of Woyla within the Saka phase. elaborated structural calculation show that the Saka segment went through several tectonic stages from the Mesozoic to Recent, that is mirrored in the Saka fault and therefore the Penanggungan fault.

The growing world consumption of wood in civil construction is evident, especially in structural roofing systems. Despite being from a renewable source, its rational and intelligent use is of vital importance in the execution of structural designs. Because it is a system that is recognized worldwide in the design of trussing roof structures, there are several empirical assumptions for structural calculation. To reduce timber consumption, some tile manufacturers suggest a 10% (6°) slope between chords. However, after simulations of 11 slopes with angles from 5° to 15°, the timber consumption was inversely proportional to the slope, reaching a 90% difference between extreme angles. The method used to obtain the results was software designed according to the routines prescribed by the new draft standard of ABNT NBR 7190 (2021). Considering a prefabricated truss with 5 cm thickness sections, the design criterion was that of minimum height, increasing by 0.10 cm until all checks were satisfied. Finally, the minimum angle after which no strengthening is required on the bars was 10°.

The article describes a possibility of airframe weight-saving structural technique during supporting rib development by design space tailoring. For scientific mission is given below the supporting rib, the loading pattern, the shearingforce and bending-moment diagrams. The researches are undertaken by structural calculation aimed to choosing of the supporting rib design space, web thickness, a number of supporting carrier gates. Herewith, it should be noted that requirements of structural availability without crippling and attainment of safety margin are achieved. Calculation and optimization of supporting rib design space held for supporting rib, which is made of different metallic materials. The article says, that usage of modern method of airframe assembly allows to optimize the design spaces of supporting rib and reduce the weight of it. According to researches, analysis of total resulting is done, and recommendations for use are given.

This project is the construction project of the academic report comprehensive building of the Central Youth League School. The main function of the project is the academic report room, including an 800-person lecture hall, a 300-person multi-function lecture hall, a 500-person multi-function lecture hall, an exhibition hall, etc., and three underground floors. There are three floors above the ground, and one floor is partially high. There are 12.8, 13.8, 15.7, 18.2, 18.6, 20.8, 27.8 meters in the sub-regions of the roof structure elevation. This article introduces the structural system, the judgment of structural out-of-limit situations, prestress design, steel truss design, suspension steel structure design, cantilevered large-span concrete beams, etc., through a variety of structural calculation and analysis methods, and find out structural weaknesses, and adopt Corresponding seismic strengthening measures, the calculation results show that the structure has good seismic performance and can meet the requirements of the code.

Extensive concerns on environmental protection have provoked low-carbon buildings to be the mainstream of building construction worldwide, and wooden structures in this sense outperform other structural forms. Wooden-concrete hybrid structures featuring distinct wooden and concrete stories typically exhibit uneven stiffness distribution along the structure height; in particular, abrupt stiffness changes occur at the wood-concrete transition stories. Therefore, structural designing of such hybrid structures must consider a stiffness amplification effect in the static structural calculation as well as complicated procedures in the dynamic analysis. To determine an appropriate amplification factor for design purpose, this study employed a dynamic numerical approach to determine the displacement response of wooden-concrete hybrid buildings and compared the results with the displacement response obtained from static analyses. According to the results, it is found that the appropriate amplification factor should beα= f (x) = 0.47x + 1.00.αcan be valued 1.94 at 2nd floor, 2.41 at 3rd floor and 2.88 at 4th floor. The results may serve as a reference for seismic designing of wooden-concrete hybrid structures.

Eight specimens were designed, and pure bending tests were completed to study the mechanical properties of welded hollow spherical joints (WHS joints) with an H-beam subjected to pure bending. Parametric analyses of the joints under pure bending were conducted in consideration of the diameter(D) and wall thickness (t) of the welded hollow sphere(WHS), and height (h) and width (b) of the H-beam to validate the numerical model. Calculation methods for the flexural capacity and bending stiffness of the H-beam WHS joints were proposed. Results revealed two failure modes of the joints under pure bending, namely, (1) concave at the connection between the WHS and upper flange and external heave at the connection between the WHS and lower flange and (2) small concave at the connection between the WHS and upper flange and tensile fracture of the welding seam at the connection between the WHS and lower flange. The joints demonstrated good ductility under pure bending. The flexural capacity and bending stiffness of the joints were positively related to the wall thickness of the WHS and to the height and width of H-beam but were negatively correlated with the diameter of the WHS. The errors between proposed formulas and FEA for calculating flexural capacity and bending stiffness are very small, indicating the formulas can be employed in structural calculation instead of FEA.
