In the present study attempt has been made to obtain the dimensionality of atmosphere by using Grassberger and Proccacia's model of correlation dimension on pressure parameter for Ahmedabad station. Based on single variable time series, the dimension of pressure at tractor is evaluated to obtain a lower bound on the number of essential variables necessary to model atmospheric dynamics. A low dimensionality of the order of five to seven for the pressure variable was obtained if interannual and seasonal variabilities are excluded by using seasonal data.

To provide a precise model of dynamic components in the constant pressure pump, and to improve the accuracy of dynamic calculation of the constant-pressure hydraulic system in its design stage, the research undertook mapping on a particular constant pressure pump and determined its basic structural parameters. Then, with the AMESim software, the research adopted separate structures from the level of basic components to establish the model of single-piston pump, the model of variable displacement pump, and the model of adjustable mechanism for the swashplate, respectively. The three models were combined with the constant-pressure variable displacement pump before it was encapsulated in a super component. By controlling the flow discharge of the constant pressure pump, and by switching on and off the constant pressure valve with the internal and long-distance pressure control, the research undertook the simulative test and the corresponding experimental test on the characteristics of pressure response of the constant pressure pump. The results of both tests agreed well with each other. Thus, it verifies the precision of the established constant pressure pump model in performing accurately in response design and analytical calculation.

A calculation was carried out and a numerical modeling of the foundation of an hydromeliorative dam was carried out during its operation in a pressure-variable mode, using the MIDAS GTX NX software package, by building a computational model based on the real engineering-geological state of the object, when horizontal stresses (kN/m2) depending on the variable water level in the upstream and downstream, a mathematical model of the process is obtained from the named factors and the degree of influence of each of them is revealed.

Abstract The stability of implicit semi-Lagrangian schemes for time-integration of the non-hydrostatic atmosphere dynamics equations is analyzed in the present paper. The main reason for the instability of the considered class of schemes is the semi-Lagrangian advection of stratified thermodynamic variables coupled to the fixed point iteration method used to solve the implicit in time upstream trajectory computation problem. We identify two types of unstable modes and obtain stability conditions in terms of the scheme parameters. Stabilization of sound modes requires the use of a pressure reference profile and time off-centering. Gravity waves are stable only for an even number of fixed point method iterations. The maximum time step is determined by inverse buoyancy frequency in the case when the reference profile of the potential temperature is not used. Generally, applying time off-centering and reference profile to pressure variable is necessary for stability. Using reference profile for potential temperature and an even number of the iterations allows one to significantly increase the maximum time-step value.

The Uzawa method is an iterative approach to find approximated solutions to the Stokes equations. This method solves velocity variables involving augmented Lagrangian operator and then updates pressure variable by Richardson update. In this paper, we construct a new version of the Uzawa method to find optimal numerical solutions of the Stokes equations including corner singularities. The proposed method is based on the dual singular function method which was developed for elliptic boundary value problems. We estimate the solvability of the proposed formulation and special orthogonality form for two singular functions. Numerical convergence tests are presented to verify our assertion.

This research aims to obtain empirical evidence of the effect of fraud diamond (pressure as proxied by financial stability, opportunity which is proxied by effective monitoring, rationalization which is proxied by total accruals, and proxied capability by change of directors) on financial statement fraud at Islamic Commercial Banks. The population in this study were banking companies that were on the list of Islamic Commercial Banks. Then the sample was taken using purposive sampling technique. The research used logistic regression because the dependent variable is a dummy variable. The results of this research indicate that the pressure variable has no effect on financial statement fraud. Opportunity variable has a negative effect on financial statement fraud. Then, the rationalization variable has a negative effect on financial statement fraud. And the capability variable has no effect on financial statement fraud. The results of this study are expected to be useful for companies, especially banking, as a material for consideration in preventing fraud on financial statements.

The purpose of this study is to analyze emotional intelligence moderating the influence of role pressure on the saturation of auditor performance in Bali Provincial Public Accountant Firm. This research was conducted in all Public Accountant Firm offices in Bali Province as many as nine offices in the Bali Region in 2019 by making 48 auditors as samples with the saturated sample method. Data collection is done by distributing questionnaires, tested through regression analysis moderation techniques. Based on the results of the analysis, the role pressure variable has a significant positive effect on the saturation of the auditor's performance at Public Accountant Firm in Bali Province. Emotional intelligence moderates the influence of role pressure significantly positive effect on the saturation of the auditor's performance on Public Accountant Firm in the province of Bali.
This research is designed to find empirical evidence on the influence of fraud triangle factors upon the existence financial statement fraud in Indonesian Listed companies. The research samples are 105 public companies consisting 42 fraud firms and 63 non fraud firms. Classification between fraud firm and non fraud firm uses the Eckel index.

The result indicate that: first, the external pressure variable that proxied by debt, personal need variable that proxied by insiders’ stock ownership, and CEO’s education, and inefective monitoring variable taht proxied by unexistence antifraud program and training have positive significant influence to the existence of financial statement fraud. Second, the personal financial need variable taht proxied by CEO’s Tenure, the inefective monitoring variable that proxied by unexistence whistleblowing program, and rationalization variable that proxied by auditor change have negative significant to the existence of financial statement fraud. Third, simultaneously all independent variables have an influence to the existence of financial statement fraud.

Keywords: financial statement fraud, income smoothing, fraud triangle.
