The main factor for the success of the implementation of education in schools is the infrastructure in the form of completeness of facilities that become the benchmark in all learning activities. To produce students who have comprehensive knowledge must be supported by facilities and skilled teaching staff.   Muhammadiyah Elementary School of Mrisi still needs attention in terms of educational infrastructure facilities that are still lacking with a relatively small number of students. The purpose of this community service is to redesign the buildings, rooms, and the design of school facilities. The initial method used is a survey by measuring and calculating the area of buildings, columns, beams and assessing the existing physical condition and then developing it according to the available land, then it will be simulated using SAP 2000 software, 3D drawings using SketchUp, and calculating the budget plan. The result of the design is a two-level school building with larger beam and column sizes as well as a sturdy and earthquake-resistant structure. Furthermore, several redesigns of facilities such as warehouses, prayer rooms, and first-level classrooms, toilets, canteens, became cleaner and more attractive. The second level is designed for additional classrooms, halls, laboratories, libraries. Other supporting facilities in the form of guard posts, gates, parking lots become more attractive. With a planned budget of Rp 6,226,839,700. -, the school can raise funds to develop school facilities in accordance with the designs that have been made and mutually agreed upon.

The result of initial survey in Gendowang Village, Moga District, Pemalang regency is an area with a large potential agricultural area with a total land of 82 ha more and the average population is farming, so it is very potential in developing agricultural systems with hydroponic systems. Enthusiastic citizens are seen at the time of socialization activities. The initial method of applying this technology is an approach to the community, then socialization and workshop. The method used in developing this agricultural system is the application of hydroponic methods with NFT systems. The result is by increasing knowledge and skills in the insertion of this method by 43.95%.

Cognitive impairment includes the lacking ability to remember things, disorientation in remembering the current location, and the struggle to find the correct word. People with dementia (PwD) are often involved in this impairment. With that being said, this project proposes the use of a mobile application to help in improving their cognitive issues. To tackle this problem, features and functionality of a mobile application specifically for dementia users are identified which contributes to the development of a diary application. Identifying and gathering features from previous studies was the initial method. Development of the diary application followed the software development life cycle (SDLC) waterfall method and evaluation of the application was experimented with identified dementia users. The findings of this project are the application set of guidelines gathered from literature into the diary application. Four verified dementia people were involved in the evaluation of the effectiveness of the application. The evaluation of the application includes some good points. Some parts of the application are pointed out for their unsuitable design and suggestions are given to improve the application in the later future.

In this work we describe the transformation of synthetic route of the antiepileptic drug candidate Sumepirin starting from discovery stage. Initial method included six step process requiring two steps of purification using colon chromatography and has poor overall yield of target compound. The process developed is convenient, scalable, technological and meet the most of conditions of green chemistry. The overall yield was increased up to 62.5% in four steps without colon chromatography purification which allows to obtain the target compound with purity of 99.5+% which is especially important for the active ingredient.

Assessing mitochondrial function in cell-based systems is a central component of metabolism research. However, the selection of an initial measurement technique may be complicated given the range of parameters that can be studied as well as the need to define the mitochondrial (dys)function of interest. This methods-focused review compares and contrasts the use of mitochondrial membrane potential measurements, plate-based respirometry, and metabolomics and stable isotope tracing. We demonstrate how measurements of (i) cellular substrate preference, (ii) respiratory chain activity, (iii) cell activation, and (iv) mitochondrial biogenesis are enriched by integrating information from multiple methods. This manuscript is meant to serve as a perspective to help choose which technique might be an appropriate initial method to answer a given question, as well as provide a broad 'roadmap' for designing follow-up assays to enrich datasets or resolve ambiguous results.

Abstract Background Foreign body ingestion is a common problem in pediatrics. Each foreign body can present its’ own unique challenges during removal, and we present the management of an ingested Spotted Tussock Moth (Lophocampa maculata), more commonly known as a caterpillar. Case presentation An 18-month-old boy presented to the emergency department with difficulty handling secretions and odynophagia. It was reported he had placed a caterpillar in his mouth and then spat it out. On examination, hundreds of miniscule filaments (setae) were seen embedded in his lips and tongue. Our service was consulted out of concern for airway involvement. The patient was taken to the operating room where a direct laryngoscopy under general anesthesia with spontaneous ventilation was performed to confirm the setae were confined to the anterior tongue and lips. Once we were satisfied the airway was stable, the airway was secured, and we then began to remove the setae. The initial method used was to use Adson-Brown forceps to remove the setae, however this proved difficult and time-consuming given the volume of setae and how thin the setae were. Ultimately, a more effective technique was developed: a 4 × 4 AMD-RITMES® gauze was applied to the mucosa in order to dry up any secretions and then a piece of pink, waterproof BSN medical® tape was applied to the mucosa. After 3 s of contact it was removed. This technique was then repeated and was used to remove the vast majority of the setae. Conclusion To our knowledge, we have described the first technique to remove the caterpillar setae from the oral cavity mucosa in a fast, safe and efficient manner.

Intrauterine Contraceptive Device (IUD) is a useful and reversible contraceptive method. This method has potential complications. Uterine perforation and IUD migration is rare but is a serious complication. Migrated IUD could situate in different organs such as bowel loop, urinary bladder, fallopian tube, or ovary. However, the presence of a displaced IUD simultaneously in the two organs is a rare event. Ultrasonography is an appropriate and initial method for evaluating the IUD location. Abdominopelvic x-ray, computed tomography, and MRI are adjunctive imaging modalities. We present a case with migrated IUD, which was located in the right ovary and small intestine simultaneously.
