In the open-shared teaching and learning space, the complexity of the shared learning contents vary. These range from stand-alone items and digital learning objects to full learning sequences and sets of resources. One humble object is the animated GIF, lightweight motion images used in graphical user interfaces (GUIs), expressive memes and commentary, emoticons, and other applications. Animated GIFs are fairly easy to create; they may be integrated into learning documents (handouts, slideshows, articles) and other objects, and it plays offline (and without the need for any downloadable player). This work involves an analysis of some available animated GIFs for education in social imagery collections. Based on findings, this work explores the viability of animated GIFs for various open-shared learning applications globally and some potential strategies and tactics, given real-world limits.

In recent years, deep learning has already been applied to English lip-reading. However, Chinese lip-reading starts late and lacks relevant dataset, and the recognition accuracy is not ideal. Therefore, this paper proposes a new hybrid neural network model to establish a Chinese lip-reading system. In this paper, we integrate the attention mechanism into both CNN and RNN. Specifically, we add the convolutional block attention module (CBAM) to the ResNet50 neural network, which enhances its ability to capture the small differences among the mouth patterns of similarly pronounced words in Chinese, improving the performance of feature extraction in the convolution process. We also add the time attention mechanism to the GRU neural network, which helps to extract the features among consecutive lip motion images. Considering the effects of the moments before and after on the current moment in the lip-reading process, we assign more weights to the key frames, which makes the features more representative. We further validate our model through experiments on our self-built dataset. Our experiments show that using convolutional block attention module (CBAM) in the Chinese lip-reading model can accurately recognize Chinese numbers 0–9 and some frequently used Chinese words. Compared with other lip-reading systems, our system has better performance and higher recognition accuracy.

Due to the influence of environmental interference and too fast speed, there are some problems in ski motion capture, such as inaccurate motion capture, motion delay, and motion loss, resulting in the inconsistency between the actual motion of later athletes and the motion of virtual characters. To solve the above problems, a real-time skiing motion capture method of snowboarders based on a 3D vision sensor is proposed. This method combines the Time of Fight (TOF) camera and high-speed vision sensor to form a motion acquisition system. The collected motion images are fused to form a complete motion image, and the pose is solved. The pose data is bound with the constructed virtual character model to drive the virtual model to synchronously complete the snowboarding motion and realize the real-time capture of skiing motion. The results show that the motion accuracy of the system is as high as 98.6%, which improves the capture effect, and the motion matching proportion is better and more practical. It is also excellent in the investigation of motion delay and motion loss.

Imagery plays an important role in literary works, and poetry is no exception. In Goethe's poetry, the romantic era which tries to describe the beauty of nature as the main object is very strong. One of the natural beauties that are trying to be described and famous is autumn in Germany. This natural phenomenon is trying to be described through imagery, so readers need to understand the imagery in poetry to get a clear picture and understand the intent or message in the poem. This study aims to describe the meaning related to imagery and the types of imagery contained in Goethe's poems. The research method used is qualitative with the theory of Pradopo. The results showed that in the process of understanding the images or images contained in poetry, an understanding of the meaning contained in the poem as a whole was needed to get a clear picture. Meanwhile, based on the results of the analysis, found 4 types of imagery in Goethe's autumn-themed poetry, namely visual imagery, auditory imagery, tactile imagery, and motion imagery. The number of each image is 8 visual images, 2 auditory images, 2 tactile images, and 3 motion images.

Keywords–Goethe, Imagery, Poetry, Herbsgedichte

Hybrid works in art have many examples from past to present. Hybridization in poster art has been in question since the first years when posters started to appear. Hybridization in designs can occur in terms of both method and technique. In present study, it is mentioned how graphic design has removed the boundaries between itself and many disciplines since the use of technology in the field of art and how it allows hybrid studies. As it is known, the main purpose of graphic design is to convey an existing idea to the other party in the simplest way. For this reason, graphic design, which updates itself over time, has added motion and sound to its work area and shows itself with effective designs. While technically designs consist of two-dimensional studies for years, they can also be designed in three-dimensional or even four-dimensional forms with hybrid methods. While poster designs are prepared as flat and static, they update themselves with kinetic typography and motion images. Moreover, with hybrid presentations such as augmented reality and virtual reality in current works, designs interact more with people. It is seen that the artists who can think from a hybrid point of view attract more attention and interaction with the hybridity reflected in their designs, and they also reach the intended result in a catchy manner.

Abstract The biblical image of Jerusalem is constructed from a diversity of themes, which capture various dimensions of the holy city. The article presents the most recurrent and signi"cant literary themes used in the Bible for referring to Jerusalem, organized on three levels: the concrete, the humane and the divine. The image of Jerusalem accumulates references to its geographical dimension, as a territorial border and center of the world, to its political and social dimension, as a capital city and military defense, and to its spiritual dimension, as a reference point in the relation between humans and God. These biblical themes stood as reference points in later developments of Jerusalem’s image in the Christian tradition and in European representations of the holy city.

The purpose of this study is to describe the style of language and imagery in the poetry poem "Engkau Salat dalam Hutan" and the poem "Di Puncak Bukit Mangkoso" by D. Zawawi Imron. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method.
