Background: Since the start of January 2020, COVID-19, has been a serious health risk concerning the wellbeing and welfare of people worldwide.  Health care workers are prone to more psychological problems because of their direct contact with infectious patients. Owing to the disruption of educational activities worldwide, stress was common among students. The objective of this study was to determine the psychological impact of COVID-19 pandemic on dental surgeons and dental students. Methods: The survey was conducted at Islamic International Dental Hospital form February 2021 to July 2021. A total of 400 questionnaires were sent to students and dental surgeons, however 340 completely filled questionnaires were returned. Questionnaire using the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS-21) was used to assess the psychological influence. Data was compiled and independent sample t -test and Pearson’s correlation were applied using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences SPSS version 23 to determine difference of means considering p<0.05 as cut off for significance. Results: The means of stress score, anxiety score and depression were 2.24+0.5, 3.56 +0.06 and 2.83+0.06 respectively. Pearson’s correlation among the dimensions of DAS scale showed that Depression, Anxiety and Stress were positively and significantly correlated with each other. Conclusion: There were high levels of Depression, Anxiety and Stress among dental students during COVID-19 Pandemic.

The book is full of real examples and principles that were written interestingly and cohesively. Its layout and guideline to use the book in a different setting make the book unique and worth reading. Even with some room for improvement, the authors did a great job of making the book enjoyable and educational for various audiences.

The article is devoted to the research of the problem of formation of sence-of-life orientations of a mature personality: the theoretical analysis of the concept of personal maturity, the essence of sence-of-life orientations in the life of an adult personality is presented; the relevance and motivation of research in the direction of humanistic-existential paradigm are substantiated; processes of understanding the life experience of the individual, his role in the formation of a mature personality, the activation of its internal resource are emphasized. An empirical study and analysis of its results on the formation of sence-of-life orientations of the individual in adulthood are presented; the principles of psychological influences in the process of psychological support are presented: social determinism, freedom of choice, personal congruence, responsibility, individual approach, empathy, invaluable attitude to the client. In the course of the research hypotheses were put: the deepening crisis of the existence of a mature personality is mediated by personal experience of living out difficult life situations and overcoming them. The main purpose of crisis counseling as a special help of the individual, is to promote an in-depth understanding that only person is able to make choices, to take responsibility for their life. In the course of research and implementation of psychological influence, the methodological principles of humanistic and existential orientation, which determined professional interaction, were reflected. The essence of psychological care, which we see in the integration of the experience of psychotherapeutic meetings in the real life of the client, is determined. In the perspective of research, the formation of a stable resistance of the individual to stress, adaptation to the situation of frustration and, in particular, the search for new meanings of existence, improving the quality of life.

The article focuses on the notion of fake information as a tool of psychological influence in the context of hybrid wars. The theoretical framework of this research constitutes works of the prominent academicians in the area of manipulation studies. Empirical research methods such as observation, comparison, generalization and expert evaluation are used. First of all, types and methods of psychological influences used by mass media and social networks with a view to manipulate public opinions are distinguished. Moreover, the impact of emotions on the critical perception of the news is highlighted. The indicators of manipulative influence are defined in order to resist them. Besides, the ways of creating and distributing false information are described. In addition, the development of fakes identification mechanisms is considered a priority for the governmental and other public institutions. This is illustrated by a range of technologies developed to automatically detect fake news. Apart from that, the degrees of the information reliability are explored. Furthermore, structural elements of fake messages, which include the source and the message itself, are discussed. Misinformation of the public, promotion of certain opinions, encouragement of aggressive actions and installment of doubts are singled out as the main tasks of fake information.

Introduction: Nowadays, grandparents are still involved in the care of grandchildren. The previous research showed that the grandparent involvement in the care of grandchildren has a bad and good impact for older adults. This study aims to gain a deep understanding of the experience of older adults while caring for their grandchildren with special needs.Methods: Researchers use a phenomenological approach to explore the experience based on awareness that occurs in some individuals. The participants involved in this study were six older adults. Data were collected by in-depth interview and analyzed by Colaizzi’s method.Results: All participants have grandchildren who attended school for special needs childrenin Surabaya city. This study showed all participants responded positively and related involvement in taking care of grandchildren. In addition, the decision to being a part of caring for the grandchildren came from themselves and the discussions with both parents. Most of the activities with grandchildren were spending time together. However, all participants complained of being tired and this condition can be solved by seeing grandchildren’s happiness. They believed that grandchildren care is better with grandmothers or grandfathers than with servants.Conclusion:It can be concluded that the experiences of the older adult taking care of  grandchildren are very varied and positive for the older adults. Further researchers are advised to continue to explore more detail about the psychological influence of grandparents   taking care of their grandchildren with special needs.

В настоящей статье проанализированы теоретические аспекты информационно-психологического воздействия на личность. Основными сферами информационно-психологического воздействия являются: экономические, политические, военные и т.д. Реализация процесса информационно-психологического воздействия направлена на основные сферы жизнедеятельности индивида или социальной группы посредством средств массовой информации, социальных сетей, глобальных компьютерных сетей, слухов (фейковых новостей) и т.д. Важнейшей задачей эффективного противодействия является своевременное выявление и идентификация информационно-психологического влияния, а также точная оценка возможных деструктивных последствий, которые могут привести к информационному и психологическому вмешательству. В данной связи актуальной задачей является изучение рассматриваемых в статье вопросов. В настоящее время в связи с возрастанием потока информации из различных источников актуальность обретает разработка мер предупреждения информационно-психологического воздействия и негативных последствий в виде изменения потребностей индивида (групп людей) посредством манипуляторных действий производителей и поставщиков товаров и услуг. Авторами статьи изучена реализация процесса управления социальными системами в информационном обществе, представленная российскими и зарубежными авторами. Приведены основные понятия, классификации методов информационно-психологического воздействия, выделены и разграничены методы, оказывающие наиболее высокое воздействие на людей с критическим и некритическим восприятием информации. Важнейшими характеристиками мыслительной деятельности личности являются: самостоятельность, критичность мышления, глубина и гибкость мышления, анализ и поиск решения задач. Представлен литературный обзор и основные выводы исследователей сущности и содержания процесса информационно-психологического воздействия. Проведен анализ информационно-психологического влияния на человека (группы лиц) в период пандемии. This paper analyzes theoretical aspects of information-psychological influence on personality. The main areas of information and psychological impact include economic, political, military, etc. The implementation of the process of information and psychological impact is aimed at the main spheres of life of an individual or social group through the media, social networks, global computer networks, rumors (fake news), etc. The most important task of effective counteraction is the timely identification of information and psychological influence, as well as an accurate assessment of possible destructive consequences that can lead to information and psychological intervention. In this regard, the current task is to study the issues discussed in the paper. At present, as the flow of information from various sources increases, the development of information prevention measures becomes relevant. At present, as the flow of information from various sources increases, the development of measures to prevent information and psychological effects and negative consequences in the form of changing the needs of the individual (groups of people) through manipulative actions of manufacturers and suppliers of goods and services becomes relevant. The authors of the publication studied the implementation of the process of managing social systems in the information society, presented by Russian and foreign authors. Basic concepts, classifications of methods of information-psychological impact are given, methods having the highest impact on people with critical and non-critical perception of information are identified and delineated. The most important characteristics of a person's thought activity are independence, criticality of thinking, depth and flexibility of thinking, analysis and search for solutions to problems. Literary overview and main conclusions of researchers on essence and content of the process of information-psychological impact are presented. An analysis of the information and psychological impact on the person (groups of persons) during the pandemic was carried out.

AbstractThe form of this research is a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were 1 principals and  11 teachers. Methods of collecting data through observation, interviews, documentation, and triangulation. While the data analysis used qualitative data analysis. While the validity of the data is tested in four ways, namely internal validity, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The main findings in this study: (1) The principal has implemented interpersonal communication occurs directly between the principal and the teacher, close relationship in communication, teachers occur in a long time and the principals and teachers know each other's personal characteristics. (2) Barriers to interpersonal communication passed by the principal, namely time barriers, social media that does not support, physical influence between male teachers and female teachers, and the psychological influence of which is the age factor. (3) to overcome the principal's interpersonal communication barriers build a high empathy attitude towards the teacher's task, get used to being a good listener, repeat information that is not clear, then determine an effective time to communicate interpersonal. The conclusions in this study are the principal has implemented interpersonal communication in improving academic achievement at the school, Obstacles in the implementation of interpersonal communication that the Principal goes through consist of time constraints, media influences, physical influences, and psychological influences, the principal has overcome obstacles in interpersonal communication.             Keywords: Academic Achievement, Interpersonal Communication

The modern person spends the most part of time in the urban environment. Any environment influences human. At the moment, the issue of psychological impact of architecture on people is especially topical. The analysis of the foreign and domestic developments and research, describing the influence of urban development, architecture of buildings and the interior of rooms in terms of architecture psychology is presented in the article. The authors studied the phenomenon of architecture psychology during the research as well as the main methods of psychological influence, characteristic of architecture, and methods of their realization in practice. The research concerns the optical illusions and acoustic effects in architecture objects, having the largest potential as instruments of psychological impact on human. The authors of the article developed classification of optical illusions by the purposes of their use and the nature of origin during the research. The most striking examples of the use of optical illusions and acoustic effects in already existing buildings and structures are reviewed in the article. The main design methods of the similar phenomena are also provided. The negative impact of noise pollution is also considered in the work besides the positive impact of sound on human. Its sources and measures, directed to the decrease in negative noise impact, are also described. The principles of the creation of positive sound influence in architecture were studied. The extent of impact of these architectural acceptances on psychological state of human is revealed as the result. According to that the conclusions are drawn on the need of taking into account of psychological influence of objects of architecture at the design stage.

The socio-psychological mechanisms of the influence of public opinion on the formation of the “I-image” of the State Traffic Inspectorate employee as a factor of regulation of official behavior have been investigated. The article considers the problem of forming a positive “I-image” of the State Traffic Inspectorate employee and the search for the optimal psychotechnology for its successful manifestation in the regulation of official behavior in relation to the fact that the decline in the authority of the above-mentioned service in the eyes of the public does not allow us to fully form a positive “I-image”. The psychodiagnostic methods used in the study and the empirical base have been described. The results of the study have been processed and interpreted using descriptive statistics, correlation and factor analysis. Purposeful psychological influence contributes to the formation of a positive “I-image” of the State Traffic Inspectorate employee, which has been proved by an empirical study.
