Abstract In this paper, a novel high power high selective and high-Q packaged dual band air suspended stripline notch filter is presented. The notch frequencies, at 2.4 and 3.5 GHz, were designed using defected suspended stripline (DSS). Moreover, the filter was packaged and shielded using perfect magnetic conductor (PMC). The DSS were designed using two frequency independent non-coupled cascaded U shape resonators. It has been proved that the filter attenuation has a sharp rejection characteristic (measured) at the two resonance frequencies (27 dB at 2.4 GHz) and (30 dB at 3.5 GHz) with Quality factor = (18). So, the sharp measured filter attenuation performance was further enhanced to become 38 dB at the two frequencies. The achieved results are discussed and confirmed using different circuit, 3D EM and experimental measurements. The designed filter can find many medium powers up to 20 kW applications.

Abstract This paper presents a compact and the low-cost coupled line band-pass filter with application to future generation millimetre-waves and 5G communications. The proposed approach of the filter design is based on the coupled-line and centre tapped upper and lower stepped impedance resonators. These resonators generate the sharp rejection, wide bandwidth, and abet to realize the compact filter. A detailed theoretical as well as the numerical analysis of the filter has also been investigated. As a demonstration, the proposed band-pass filter configuration has been designed and fabricated at the 33.5 GHz frequency using a low-cost PCB technique. It has observed that the proposed filter, results in a better return loss and the low insertion loss. The experimental results has been presented and compared with the simulated results and has found quite satisfactory. Moreover the results obtained validate a good agreement with each other.

The first half of the 20th century in the Russian translation reception of Shakespeare was marked by the emerging of translations by B.L. Pasternak, S. Ya. Marshak, A.D. Radlova, W.V. Levik, I.B. Mandelstam. Characterizing their transcriptions, K.I. Chukovsky not only substantiated the artistic manner and creative position of the translators, but also presented his understanding of individual shortcomings and, conversely, successful findings. The articles «The Crippled Shakespeare», «Asthma in Desdemona» (1940) reflect his sharp rejection of the approach of A.D. Radlova to the interpretation of Shakespeare’s plays, he notes the mistakes made by the translator when working with the original texts. K.I. Chukovsky positively spoke about «Richard II» by I.B. Mandelstam; he considered its undoubted merit to be his free style and the absence of a formalist approach in observing certain parameters of the original text. The most complete features of the translation concept of K.I. Chukovsky are disclosed on the example of his translation of Shakespeare’s comedy «Love’s Labor’s Lost» (1945), which has been repeatedly staged in the theater.

Since the interference/noise signal characteristics such as amplitude, frequency and phase are variable over time and sometimes unknown, therefore, most wireless systems, especially cellular systems, have difficulty extracting the useful signal and its frequency from the distorted signal. So, an adaptive filter is used for this purpose, where its transmission function is adjusted according to an optimization algorithm and this enables it to adapt along with the change in the signal characteristics in order to reach the ideal filter coefficients that permit to reduce the error to the minimum. However, adaptive filter algorithms have evolved to allow the adaptive filter to function as a notch filter by tracking the unknown frequency of the interference signal from adjacent channels in an environment where there is no full knowledge of the signal characteristics. Thus, these algorithms initially estimate the sinusoidal frequency of the interference signal quickly and accurately and then update the filter coefficients using this estimation, and this contributes to remove the noise and the single/multiple narrowband interference from the broadband signal where the frequency response of the adaptive notch filter has sharp rejection characteristics at the notch frequency corresponding to the interference frequency to be removed.

AbstractAirbus Italia recently developed enhanced passive components as key elements for its telecommunication Ku-band antenna product lines, tailored to reconfigurable payloads. This paper describes the design and qualification of a dual linear polarization Ku-band-radiating chain, developed for the DRA receive (Rx) active antennas embarked on the Eutelsat Quantum satellite. The feed chain covers the entire Ku-band frequency range allocated for fixed satellite services providing receive functionality and embedding sharp rejection features over the adjacent transmit band. The proposed design provides high radiation efficiency (>90%) and polarization purity (XPD > 33 dB), together with low RF losses and flat group-delay variation over a 13% fractional bandwidth, keeping a compact size and reduced axial length. The unit has been optimized for high reproducibility in high volume productions, typical of large DRA applications, for which stringent mass and dimensional constraints, as well as excellent amplitude and phase tracking among similar units, are key features. Details of the feed chain design and an overview of RF and environmental qualification test results are presented.

The paper explores Martin Heidegger’s concept of the «history of being». This concept was created in the philosopher’s late period. Critically analyzing the own paths of existential philosophy revealed in Being and Time, Heidegger gradually forms a spectrum of being-historical notions that will occupy a central position in contemplation after «the turn». The methods of analyzing the presence used before «the turn» create the appearance of an anthropological approach to the question of being, which becomes the main subject of the philosopher’s self-criticism. This, in particular, served as an originative impulse for the formation of the «history of being» concept. This article presents the key intentions of this concept. The author reveals these intentions in their natural interconnection, tracing the development trends from Black Notebooks to full-fledged volumes devoted to history of being. The questions asked in the renowned Heidegger’s opus magnum are revealed in a completely different plane, where the human presence (Dasein) is transformed into the foundation of the people’s essence, provided they are open to the call of being (Geschick). The author of the article does not share the opinion of researchers claiming that there are sufficient grounds to draw a hard line between Heidegger-1 and Heidegger-2, interpreting «the turn» as a sharp rejection by the philosopher of the results of his work before the 1930s. However, the being-historical layer requires new historical and philosophical interpretations: the professor’s forced release from the academic framework opened a new depth of his language and thought. Therefore, the key notions of the being-historical concept, necessary for acquaintance with it, have become the topic of this study. The hermeneutic and historical-genetic methods are the main ones applied in the study. The former, perfected by Martin Heidegger himself, is necessary in the interpretation of his texts, saturated with specific turns, original use of previously known terms, poetic allegories.

In this article, we have presented various techniques that are used for improving different parameters related to UWB antenna. In this Paper, we planned for MIMO antennas in contemporary wireless communication which enhances the bandwidth and gives compact antennas. The antenna band we notched is of planned MIMO which offers an bandwidth with the operational band-notched. The bandwidth capacity of the antenna is from 2.93-20 gigahertz with sharp rejection at WLAN-band with isolation of not exactly - 22 dB is accomplished for the whole band, by utilizing a simple modified shaped structure in the bottom plane, port isolation and transmission capacity are improved. The diversity execution performance is likewise contemplated and whole outcomes shows it’s a potential point of using MIMO based diversity antenna for ultra wide band applications which is demonstrate in this paper. The parameters to assess the performance of the MIMO are explained, the whole examination completed in different sections has been outlined
