Cattles are big ruminant livestock most widely farmed and have prospective livestock to be developed in Indonesia. This study was conducted to describe characteristics of beef cattle farmer, to predict potential development cattle agribusiness, and to determine center of development cattle agribusiness in central Katingan sub-district. Characteristics of beef cattle farmer were analyzed bydescriptive statistics. Potential development cattle business was measured by Capacity of additional ruminant population (CARP). Potential villages as center of development cattle agribusiness was determined by location quotient (LQ) analysis. The result concludes that beef cattle farmers at central Katingan sub-district had experienced, productive age, fair labor force at the family, and most well educated. Beef cattle Agribusiness had done semi intensive at central Katingan sub-district. The number of livestock can be added about 407.34 livestock unit/LU (equivalent to 234.64 LU of beef cattle) at central Katingan. Potential beef cattle Agribusiness basis at central Katingan sub-district i.e. Petak Puti, Tewang Panjang, and Telok where their LQ (effective CARP) values were 10.86(38.76); 6.36 (70.33); and 1.24 (126.02), respectively. An optimally utilization of land resources management and crop-livestock systems development were applied to increase the number of beef cattle agribusiness.

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is a proxy indicator or an indicator of the approach to the welfare level of breeders. The welfare of breeders can illustrate the purchasing power of farmers. The purpose of this study 1) To determine the level of welfare of cattle breeders and 2) To determine the effect of price index factors paid by farmers on the price index received by cattle breeders. This study uses NTP time series data with the base year 2012 = 100 as the basis for calculating the years 2018 - 2019. The location studied was determined by purposive sampling method in 5 districts in Sidoarjo Regency which are centers of beef cattle and dairy cows. The sample was selected by purposive random sampling as many as 75 cattle breeders. The NTP analysis method was carried out descriptively and the analysis of the factors that influenced the NTP was carried out using multiple linear regression. The results showed that the exchange rate of cattle farmers in Sidoarjo regency in 2019 increased by 1.81 percent from 109.41 in 2018 to 111.21 in 2019. This shows that cattle breeders in Sidoarjo district are experiencing a surplus or prosperity. The production input price index which includes the price of seeds, feed, and labor wages that must be paid by cattle breeders is a factor that has a significant effect on the cattle price index received by breeders.

City of Mataram City is the center of government and economic activity. Urban-Village of DasanCermen, district of Sandubaya, has been selected as site of community service with consideration that there are several livestock-farmers group, namely: the cattle-farmers group, the Buras Chicken-Farmer Group, the Duck-Farmers Group, and the Fish- Farmers Group. The existence of these livestock-farmer groupshave been used as an educational tourism-site by the Urban-Village Government. The cattle-farmer group of “Beriuk Taker” is located close to the urban-village office and residential areas so that accumulated-manure disturbs environmental health. Therefore, the aim of this community service is to find solution problem of accumulated-livestock manure by processing it into organic fertilizer. In addition, this service also provides knowledge and skills about group-based business management to group committee. The methods have been used in this activity are extension service on implementation of cattle-business technology, training on processing organic fertilizers, and focus group discussions (FGD) on cattle-group management. The service results showed: (1) positively response of beneficiary group to the community service; (2) cattle-farmers capable and willing to apply technology about feed, cattleshed, and marketing;(3) cattle-farmers are skilled in processing of organic fertilizer by mutually work in every Sunday after zuhr prayer. The processing of organic fertilizer can produce 1 – 1.5 tons in 3 weeks. The temporary marketing is directed to ornamental-plant entrepreneurs around in the city of Mataram. It is hoped that the proceeds from the sale of fertilizers can be used to pay land rent to the local mosque management. With the support of the village government, the "Beriuk Taker" cattle farmer group can be used as a location for livestock education. They planned that the income from sale of organic fertilizerwould be used to pay land-rent to the local mosque committee. With the support of the urban-village government, the cattle-farmers group of "Beriuk Taker" can be used as site for livestock’educational-tourism.

Kent Roach’s Canadian Justice, Indigenous Injustice (2019) analyzes the highly divisive and contested acquittal of fifty-six-year-old white cattle farmer, Gerald Stanley, in the 2018 case involving the death of twenty-two-year-old Cree man, Colton Boushie. The book argues that this particular case highlights the striking disadvantages that Indigenous Peoples continue to face within the criminal justice system. However, though well intentioned, Roach’s book is not without its problems, and ultimately, fails to sufficiently prove that the root of Gerald Stanley’s acquittal was solely attributed to systemic racism or Indigenous victimization. The arguments, lacking Indigenous opinions and consultation, essentially devolved into a demonstration of Roach’s confirmation bias.

This study aims to reveal (1) the effect of service quality on breeder cattle breeders' loyalty, (2) level of trust in farmer cattle breeders' loyalty, (3) satisfaction with breeders' farmer loyalty, (4) influence of service quality, trust level and satisfaction jointly to the Farmer Cattle Breeders' Loyalty. The population in this study were 463 cattle breeders in Sungai Penuhyang City. By using the Slovin opinion obtained a sample of 83 people so that the entire population is made into a full sample (census). Analysis of independent and dependent variables is carried out through descriptive and regression analysis and to prove the hypothesis is used t and F testsThe conclusion of the study that the partial and simultaneous hypothesis of the variable Quality of Service, Level of Trust and Satisfaction, towards the Farmer Breeders' Loyalty was proven / accepted in this study with the regression equation Y = 10,049 + 0,226 X1 + 0,310 X2 + 0,288 X3, with each t test value respectively 2.124 and 2.934 and 2.043 with sig values. 0.037, 0.004 and 0.044 smaller than 0.05. F test with a value of 31,952 sig. 0,000 <0,05 thus the variable X1 (Service Quality), X2 (Level of Trust), and X3 (Satisfaction) are partially and simultaneously have a significant effect on the Farmer Cattle Farmer Loyalty (Y). From the results of this study suggested Service Quality, Level of Trust and Satisfaction that have been achieved partially and simultaneously which are relatively good to be maintained and even improved so that the Farmer Breeders' Loyalty will increasingly increase.

The research survey aimed to observe the households behavior and response to the participatory institution model of the preventing of the productive cows exploitation. The sample technique to select of the domestic cattle farmer (DCF) as the unit of analysis using the multiple stages cluster sampling and then sample allocation was equal for three districts. Structural equation model consisted of 5 behavior equations drawn up from the 5 endogenous and 13 exogenous variables. The research results showed that the rate of release of productive cows about 19.23 percent. The institutional model to handling of the drain at least productive cows have four major components, were members (DCFs), the management, micro-finance institutions (MFIs) and buffer-stock. The household motivation to develop the business scale and maintain the productive heifer shaped by land ownership and livestock scale expected factors. Then both types of motivation were not significantly associated with DCF's motivation to engage in institutional, as the more dominant individual as shaped by the farmer age. The other hand, the confidence level of participatory institutional effectiveness significantly shaped by the perception of institutional and potential release of productive heifer compared the potential release of motivation factors and correlated positively with the economic conditions.
