Over the past several decades, there has been a global aging of the population around the world. The demographic situation in the Russian Federation is no exception, being a natural result of an increase in the life expectancy of the population. In clinical practice, geriatric diseases have been identified and are widely studied, which deserve priority attention due to a sharp decline in the quality of life of elderly patients. Osteoporosis is called a “silent epidemic” among elderly and senile patients. This disease is associated with a high risk of low-traumatic fractures of various localization. The imperfect rehabilitation program after complex fractures and its insufficient funding are forcing clinicians to focus on more cost-effective solutions to this problem  – the  prevention and treatment of  osteoporosis. Osteomodifying agents are widely used by physicians of  various specialties. Bisphosphonates effectively reduce the risk of low-traumatic fractures against the background of an increase in bone mineral density. The  level of  effectiveness of  bisphosphonates depends on the  patient’s adherence to antiresorptive therapy and the degree of compensation for vitamin D and serum calcium. Low adherence to osteoporosis therapy is based on the need for long-term use of bisphosphonates and a different spectrum of adverse events. In the article, using alendronate as an example, the problem of low adherence to antiresorptive therapy will be considered and ways to solve it are presented.

Abstract We crossmatch galaxies from Mapping Nearby Galaxies at Apache Point Observatory with the Open Supernova Catalog, obtaining a total of 132 SNe within MaNGA bundle. These 132 SNe can be classified into 67 Type Ia and 65 Type CC. We study the global and local properties of supernova host galaxies statistically. Type Ia SNe are distributed in both star-forming galaxies and quiescent galaxies, while Type CC SNe are all distributed along the star-forming main sequence. As the stellar mass increases, the Type Ia/CC number ratio increases. We find: (1) there is no obvious difference in the interaction possibilities and environments between Type Ia SN hosts and a control sample of galaxies with similar stellar mass and SFR distributions, except that Type Ia SNe tend to appear in galaxies which are more bulge-dominated than their controls. For Type CC SNe, there is no difference between their hosts and the control galaxies in galaxy morphology, interaction possibilities as well as environments; (2) compared to galaxy centers, the SN locations have smaller velocity dispersion, lower metallicity, and younger stellar population. This is a natural result of radius gradients for all these parameters. The SN location and its symmetrical position relative to the galaxy center, as well as regions with similar effective radii have very similar [Mg/Fe], gas-phase metallicity, gas velocity dispersion and stellar population age.

How do you know if what you feel is real, or is simply the natural result of a modified belief/desire? Does it even matter? In this work of philosophical short story fiction, Susan and Richard are getting a divorce, but their son is struggling to come to terms with it. They head to the clinic to learn about using the “Davidson Method” to modify their child’s brain so he will be more accepting of their divorce. Alison, the person in charge of explaining their options to them, explains that long term brain modifications in children are not permitted. However, she suggests, as adults, they could use the method to make a long-term modification so that they are happy in their marriage. They reject this idea. The next option, she suggests, is to modify them so that they don’t care that their child is unhappy about the divorce. They likewise, reject this idea. Alison explains to them the desire to make their child happy too, can be modified. The couple rejects the idea and leaves the office, determined to work harder on their marriage, rather than face the horrible prospect of programming themselves not to love their child.

"The aim of the work is to arrange the scientific achievements on the category of “musical performing style” and identify mechanisms for practical testing of theoretical provisions in the pedagogical activities of higher musical education institutions. The research methodology is based on a combination of general scientific and musicological approaches, in particular: system approach hermeneutic, historical, comparative, genre-style, interpretive method, as well as performance analysis. The results of the study indicate that domestic art schools were formed by synthesizing several national and historical style traditions. Music and performance schools were actively developing in parallel with the compositional work in Ukraine in the second half of the twentieth century; the work of representatives of those schools presents a fairly wide range of style research. A natural result of the studied problem of musical performing style should be its transfer to the practical plane of professional education of musicians and performers, formation of musical style competence in students. Kotlyarevsky Kharkiv National University of Arts was selected as an experimental platform for its formation. During 2019-2021, a pedagogical experiment continued to test the formation of musical and style thesaurus, performance and intellectual skills, professionally important qualities of music students. In the context of studying of different styles in the system of musical performance by the students of higher music education institutions, it is important that the art of music is constantly evolving and new directions and trends in music styles emerge almost every day in Ukraine and the world as a whole. This undoubtedly makes the need for further research on this issue urgent (usually with the use of advanced domestic and foreign experience in music education). Keywords: Style. Category. Art. Musical work. Musicology. Music education. Educational process. Organizational and methodological system."

The article is a first attempt to tackle Borys Grinchenko’s theoretical paper “The Management of Inspiration” (1893) in the Ukrainian literary studies. The manuscript of Grinchenko’s paper is kept at the Institute of Manuscripts of the National Library of Ukraine named after V. I. Vernadsky. The subject of the research is the writer’s views on the psychology of creativity. The article aims to consider the theoretical views of the Ukrainian philosopher on the problem of inspiration as a special creative venue of the artists, writers or composers, the management of which can affect their productivity. The results of the study enable to detect the influence of both idealistic and positivist-oriented aesthetics in Grinchenko’s theoretical approach to the cultivated creativity. The Ukrainian philosopher is resolute in denying the idea of inspiration as a rapidly passing special state which cannot be managed for example by the writer. Nor does he accept the possibility of productive creativity only in the moments of emotional outburst or transcendence. Grinchenko develops coherently the idea that the ingenious writers systematically experienced inspiration relying on the skill, worked out over the years, to create at a fixed time. In his opinion, the timing for different types of activity allowed those writers to evoke special spirituality at certain hours, when aesthetic performance is the most productive. In his paper, B. Grinchenko insists on the need for each creator to handle the inspiration by means of the skillful management of creative process. The ideas of the Ukrainian philosopher on the possibility of managing writer’s insight keep with the Hegelian thesis of creative inspiration as a natural result of the artist’s hard work. B. Grinchenko regards inspiration as an animating force that can be set in motion by daily routine. Every writer’s moment of the highest revelation proceeds differently; its every stage can be differently time-bound. Yet Borys Grinchenko hopes that in the future the development of literary processes will lead most writers to a disciplined and manageable way of creativity. The ideas of Grinchenko’s paper on the bonding of inspiration and the titanic work of the writer are up-to-date.

The article is based on the report «Postmodernity as Postcoloniality: Metamorphosis of Civilizational Transit» at the 10th South-Russian Politological Convent in South Federal University 27-31.10.2020. Civilization is seen as a dynamic structure, and history as an evolutionary process, defined and manifested in the transformation of social mentality. The complexity of the current social environment and organisms living in it is a natural result of development. The transit experienced by the modern civilization to the postmodern order of multiple, loosely formalized sovereigns. Postcoloniality as a rapidly growing universal problem is regarded as a specific aspect of postmodernity.

China's resistance to Japanese aggression escalated into a full-scale war in 1937. The continuously deteriorating situation stimulated the rise of Chinese nationalism in the diaspora communities worldwide. The Japanese invasion of China, accompanied by the emergence of the National Salvation Movement (NSM) in Southeast Asia, provided the overseas Chinese with a rare opportunity to re-examine their ‘Chineseness’, as well as their relationships with the colonial states and the increasingly self-aware indigenous populations. This research problematises traditional approaches that tend to regard the NSM as primarily driven by Chinese patriotism. Juxtaposing Malaya and Java at the same historical moment, the article argues that the emergence of the NSM was more than just a natural result of the rising Chinese nationalism. Local politics and the shifting political orientations of overseas Chinese communities also profoundly shaped how the NSM played out in different colonial states.

The quality of legal and technical elaboration of amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation, approved by the all-Russian vote on July 1, 2020, does not correspond to the level of the Basic Law. Oddly enough, the constitutional legislator ignored a number of basic technical means, rules and methods of legal technique. Thus, the constitutional amendments were drafted without taking into account the requirements of the structural organization of the legal act, namely: many new norms were included in inappropriate articles, the transitional provision on "resetting the deadlines" was duplicated in the main text of the Constitution. The authors of the amendments abandoned criteria of efficiency and compactness of legislative norms, having included an identical set of restrictions in nine articles of the Constitution in relation to various categories of officials. The text does not meet the requirement for uniformity of legal regulation, legal structures, the unity, simplicity and brevity of terminology: the scope of constitutional restrictions for various categories of officials differs somewhat without any objective reasons; there is no uniformity in the issue of the possibility of establishing additional requirements for officials by laws, “bifurcation” of the titles for senators (who in Chapter 9 of the Constitution are still referred to as members of the Federation Council). Insufficient attention to the requirement of consistency of legal norms has led to the creation of a new contradiction between Art. 71 and 72 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation. Amendments also have a number of other legal and technical defects. Such serious and numerous defects in the legal technique of amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation became a natural result of a steady decline in the quality of federal legislation that has lasted for a long time. Constitutional amendments clearly demonstrate an insufficient level of legal culture in our country, which sharply raises the question of a radical improvement in the quality of legal technology, and legislative technology in particular.

In recent years, one of the most acute and unsolved problems facing our country is the problem of taxation. An effective economy is inconceivable without the creation of an effective institution of taxation, which is the main conductor of state interests, and is a natural result of the tax policy pursued by the state. Effective taxation can be ensured by solving a number of problems and ensuring a harmonious combination of the selected tax mechanism with the goals and objectives set by the state in managing the country's economy. The relevance of this topic is due to the fact that today one of the most acute problems of our economy is the lack of financial resources, and taxes are one of the most important sources of replenishment of the state budget and affect the development of market relations. In turn, the budget depends on how successfully the society will develop in the country. This monograph is a collective work of teachers and students of the Department of Economic Security, Accounting and Law of the Don State Technical University. It is devoted to the consideration of certain problems in the field of taxes and taxation
