Abstract Cognitive impairments (CIs) result in difficulties with a wide range of daily activities. Older adults are especially at risk for CIs, and as the older adult population increases, so does the importance of understanding and supporting the needs of those with CIs. The Enhancing Neurocognitive Health, Abilities, Networks, and Community Engagement (ENHANCE) Center was established with a focus on developing technology-based support for socialization, transportation, and prospective memory needs of older adults with CIs due to mild cognitive impairment (MCI), traumatic brain injury (TBI), and stroke. The extent to which relevant literature in these domains existed was unknown. We conducted a scoping review to identify existing research meeting the following criteria: participants aged 50+ years classified as having a CI due to MCI, TBI, or stroke; and a focus on technology-based support for socialization, transportation, and/or prospective memory needs. Using PRISMA guidelines, we searched three electronic databases, and reviewers screened citations for inclusion and completed data charting. Following screening, only 11 studies met our inclusion criteria. Qualitative and quantitative data are reported for each study. In addition to few studies available, it was common for studies to include 20 or fewer participants. Most assessed technology interactions at one time and few studies examined longitudinal use and benefits. While each paper examined one aspect of user-centered design, no technologies were reported that underwent all stages of the user-centered design process, from needs assessment to iterative design and usability testing, to efficacy trial. Such gaps highlight the important role ENHANCE can play.

As leiomyosarcoma patients are challenged by the development of metastatic disease, effective systemic therapies are the cornerstone of outcome. However, the overall activity of the currently available conventional systemic treatments and the prognosis of patients with advanced or metastatic disease are still poor, making the treatment of this patient group challenging. Therefore, in a joint effort together with patient networks and organizations, namely Sarcoma Patients EuroNet (SPAEN), the international network of sarcoma patients organizations, and the National LeioMyoSarcoma Foundation (NLMSF) in the United States, we aim to summarize state-of-the-art treatments for leiomyosarcoma patients in order to identify knowledge gaps and current unmet needs, thereby guiding the community to design innovative clinical trials and basic research and close these research gaps. This position paper arose from a leiomyosarcoma research meeting in October 2020 hosted by the NLMSF and SPAEN.

The modern educational philosophy focuses on the student, especially in the subject of teaching methods being the center of the educational process, the teaching process must look at the student comprehensively taking into account the different patterns of their learning, the scientists of physical education from a few decades tended to focus on providing students with methods and skills of self-learning, and critical thinking, so I use The researcher's experimental method for its suitability of the nature of the research, with the tight control of the tribal and dimensional test of the experimental and control groups only and was based on the dimensional measurement only of the variable of the cognitive achievement measure for teaching skills,  was determined the meeting of the research meeting students of the third stage- Faculty of Education Physical and Sports Sciences - Diyala University, numbering 190 students, was identified as an experimental and controlled research sample in a random, irregular way (lottery) and division (A) was also selected by lot, as the division (a) was selected experimental and division b officer The total number of students (32) students divided into two groups of (16) students per group and a percentage (16,842) and the proposed curriculum (8) teaching units and two teaching units per week with a time of (90) minutes For the single teaching unit, the tests were conducted and data collected before the start of the curriculum and repeated it after completing all teaching skills after the curriculum and after statistical analysis system(sps)the results showed that the inverse learning method has a positive effect on teaching skills and concluded the researcher that the inverse learning style has direct effectiveness in learning teaching skills and then the method followed (command)..

PurposeThis paper discusses whether institutional investors change the shareholding ratio of listed companies through research meeting, and whether this active investment mode can really improve the investment efficiency of institutional investors.Design/methodology/approachUsing empirical research method, this study designs and conducts an empirical research according to empirical research's basic norms. Thus, we acquire needed and credible empirical data. This study analyzes whether institutional investors seek their private interest in researched companies by analyzing their research meetings and the shareholding ratios of different types of institutional investors using Shenzhen Stock Exchange data on listed firms from 2014 to 2018.FindingsThis study finds that the research meetings of institutional investors provide participants with reliable information which supports the decision of institutional investors to change their shareholding ratio. The stock price growth rate strengthens the positive correlation between the research meetings of institutional investors and the shareholding ratio of institutional investors. Additionally, transactional institutional investors increase the shareholding ratio, while holding institutional investors do not.Originality/valueThis paper combines the behavior of institutional investors with the holding status of institutional investors, and discusses the impact of institutional investors' behavior on investment decisions. At the same time, it classifies the institutional investors and discusses the attitude of different types of institutional investors towards this active investment mode.

In many patients after stroke, spasticity develops over time, resulting in a decrease in the patient’s independence, pain, worsening mood, and, consequently, lower quality of life. In the last ten years, a rich arsenal of physical agents to reduce muscle tone such as extracorporeal shock therapy (ESWT) wave has come through. The aim of this narrative review article is to present the current state of knowledge on the use of ESWT as a supplement to the comprehensive rehabilitation of people after stroke suffering from spasticity. The PubMed and PEDro databases were searched for papers published in English from January 2000 to December 2020, 22 of which met inclusion criteria for clinical studies related to post-stroke spasticity management with ESWT. A total of 22 studies including 468 post-stroke patients—11 reports with the upper limb (267 patients) and 10 reports within the lower limb (201 patients), as well as one report including both upper and lower limb. We focused our attention on clinical and methodological aspects. Therefore, we performed the assessment of enrolled studies in terms of methodological quality using the PEDro and level of evidence using the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) guidelines. Furthermore, we indicated implications for clinical practice in using ESWT for post-stroke spasticity management. Moreover, we discussed a suggestion for future research directions. In conclusion, an ESWT effectively reduces muscle tone in people with spastic limb after stroke. Further, ESWT is safe and free of undesirable side effects. The mechanism of action of ESWT on muscles affected by spasticity is still unknown. To date, no standard parameters of ESWT in post-stroke spasticity regarding intensity, frequency, location, and the number of sessions has been established. Further research, meeting the highest standards, is needed to establish uniform muscle stimulation parameters using ESWT.
