Importance to identifying how diversity affects individual and group productivity in todays globalized world is increasing. The purpose of this research lies in the phenomenon of diversity and further analysis of the impact that diversity has on the work environment. To conduct this research, I interviewed 20 managers and 30 employees of the banking sector regarding the composition of their staff with emphasis on diversity. The data were processed using the statistical analysis of SPSS program. Human resources have positively influenced the increase of success, productivity and has eased problem solving, bettered performance, training, salary, and diversity of employees. This study will have practical significance in the easier approach of problems in human resource management and their motivation.

Researchers have been interested in the investigation of the social functions of questions in conversational contexts. However, limited research has been conducted on the social functions of questions in embodied collaborative work, i.e. work that involves the manipulation of physical objects. The aim of this study was to identify the social functions of questions in embodied collaborative work and to determine whether such functions correlate with performance outcomes. To do so, we conducted qualitative and quantitative analyses of a dataset of 1751 question-answer sequences collected from an experimental study where pairs of participants (N=134) completed a collaborative food preparation task. Qualitative analysis enabled us to identify three functions of questions: Anticipation questions, exploration questions and confirmation questions. Quantitative analyses revealed that there was no correlation between the types of questions and group performance. However, they showed that groups that contributed the most to performance presented a similar distribution of question types. The identification of such patterns is a first step towards the design and implementation of interaction-focused interventions aimed at increasing group productivity in embodied collaborative work.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas kelompok tani, menganalisis efektivitas kelompok tani, dan menganalisis pengaruh antara faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas kelompok tani dengan efektivitas kelompok tani. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik survei. Pengambilan sampel dengan metode cluster random sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 67 responden. Analisis data menggunakan Regresi Linear Berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas yaitu faktor ciri kelompok, faktor fungsi tugas, dan faktor luar kelompok. Efektivitas kelompok tani di Kecamatan Mojolaban termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Secara simultan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas berpengaruh signifikan terhadap efektivitas kelompok tani. Secara parsial variabel faktor ciri kelompok dan faktor fungsi tugas berpengaruh signifikan terhadap efektivitas kelompok tani, sedangkan variabel faktor luar kelompok tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap efektivitas kelompok tani.Kata kunci: Efektivitas, Kelompok Tani, ProduktivitasAbstractThis study aims to analyze the factors that influence the effectiveness of farmer groups, analyze the effectiveness of farmer groups, and analyze the influence between factors that affect the effectiveness of farmer groups with the effectiveness of farmer groups. Research using quantitative research method with survey technique. Sampling by cluster random sampling method with the number of samples as many as 67 respondents. Data analysis using Multiple Linear Regression. The results showed that factors that influence effectiveness are group characteristics factors, task function factors, and factors outside the group. The effectiveness of farmer groups in Mojolaban sub-district is in a high category. Simultaneously the factors that influence the effectiveness have a significant effect on the effectiveness of farmer groups. Partially variable group character factors and task function factors have a significant effect on the effectiveness of farmer groups, while factor variables outside the group have no significant effect on the effectiveness of farmer groups.Keywords: Effectiveness; Farmer Group; Productivity 


An algorithmic approach for the assessment of the survivability is proposed that is based on Lanchester’s modified deterministic model. Methods are suggested for increasing the available time capability for nuclear power plant monitoring and coverage, using the required or a limited number of the operable drones,. Dependencies of the variance between the residual fleet damage and permissible drone fleet damage on monitoring time as well as dependencies of the monitoring time on the recovery group productivity are analysed.

The effectiveness of the groups in the Sekolah Peternakan Rakyat (SPR), which was established by IPB, was an interesting spotlight in this study. The group communication concepts applied in the SPR, one of which is the task function factor. The study aims to analyze group characterization factors and task function factors of farmers in Muara Enim District SPR. In addition to the effectiveness of the SPR group in Muara Enim District group characteristics, and task function factors with group effectiveness in Muara Enim District SPR. Sampling for the SPR group is based on a simple random sample by taking 10 percent of the population as respondents. The results of this study indicate that group effectiveness consists of group productivity and satisfaction of members in the SPR Muara Tigo Manunggal, District of Muara Enim. The existence of a positive relationship between communication with the aim of the existence of Muara Tigo SPR so that the achievement of group goals based on the characteristics of the group and the functions of their respective duties.Keywords: group characteristics factors, group effectiveness, SPR, task function factorABSTRAKEfektivitas kelompok dalam Sekolah Peternak Rakyat yang didirikan IPB menjadi sorotan menarik dalam penelitian ini. Selain efektivitas kelompok SPR di Kecamatan Muara Enim, ditinjau pula hubungan faktor ciri kelompok, dan faktor fungsi tugas dengan efektivitas kelompok di SPR Kecamatan Muara Enim. Pengambilan sampel untuk kelompok SPR berdasarkan sampel acak sederhana dengan mengambil 10 persen dari populasi sebagai responden.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Efektivitas kelompok yang terdiri dari produktivitas kelompok dan kepuasan anggota di SPR Muara Tigo Manunggal, Kecamatan Muara Enim sangat baik. Adanya Hubungan positif antara komunikasi dengan tujuan dari adanya SPR Muara Tigo sehingga tercapainya tujuan kelompok berdasarkan cirri kelompok dan fungsi tugasnya masing-masing.Kata kunci: faktor ciri kelompok, faktor fungsi tugas, keefektifan kelompok, SPR

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui tingkat efektivitas kelompok tani, tingkat faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas kelompok tani  dan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas kelompok tani dengan tingkat efektivitas kelompok tani di Desa Pulau Tengah Kecamatan Jangkat Kabupaten Merangin.                Metode penelitian dalam penelitian ini  untuk mengetahui tingkat efektivitas kelompok tani dan tingkat faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas kelompok tani di Desa Pulau Tengah Kecamatan Jangkat Kabupaten Merangin dilakukan dengan analisis deskriptif melalui scoring dengan menggunakan Skala Likert. Sedangkan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas kelompok tani dengan tingkat efektivitas kelompok tani di Desa Pulau Tengah Kecamatan Jangkat Kabupaten Merangin, dianalisis secara statistik non parametrik dengan megunakan Uji Koefisien Rank Spearman.                Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat efektivitas kelompok tani di Desa Pulau Tengah Kecamatan Jangkat Kabupaten Merangin menunjukkan berada dalam kategori tinggi yaitu produktivitas kelompok, kepuasaan anggota kelompok, semangat kelompok. Dan tingkat faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas kelompok tani menunjukkan dalam kategori tinggi yaitu kepemimpinan kelompok, kehomogenan kelompok, waktu pertemuan kelompok, fungsi tugas kelompok, tingkat penguasaan materi oleh PPL (Penyuluh Pertanian Lapangan). Sedangkan hubungan antara tingkat faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efektitas kelompok tani dengan tingkat efektivitas kelompok tani menunjukkan hubungan positif dimana  ada hubungan antara tingkat faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas kelompok tani dengan tingkat efektivitas kelompok tani di Desa Pulau Tengah Kecamatan Jangkat Kabupaten Merangin.Kata Kunci : Efektivitas, Kelompok Tani. ABSTRACT                 This study was conducted to determine the level of effectiveness of farmer groups, the level of factors that affect the effectiveness of farmer groups and to determine the relationship between the level of factors that affect the effectiveness of farmer groups with the level of effectiveness of farmer groups in Pulau Tengah Village, Jangkat District, Merangin District.                The research method in this study was to determine the level of effectiveness of farmer groups and the level of factors that influence the effectiveness of farmer groups in Pulau Tengah Village, Jangkat District, Merangin District, which was carried out by descriptive analysis through scoring using a Likert Scale. Meanwhile, to find out the relationship between the level of factors that influence the effectiveness of farmer groups and the level of effectiveness of farmer groups in Pulau Tengah Village, Jangkat District, Merangin District, statistically non-parametric analysis using Spearman Rank Coefficient Test.                The results showed that the level of effectiveness of farmer groups in Pulau Tengah Village, Jangkat District, Merangin District showed that they were in the high category of group productivity, group member satisfaction, group spirit. And the level of factors that influence the effectiveness of farmer groups shows in the high category of group leadership, group homogeneity, group meeting time, group task function, level of mastery of the material by PPL (Field Agricultural Extension). While the relationship between the level of factors that affect the effectiveness of farmer groups with the level of effectiveness of farmer groups shows a positive relationship where there is a relationship between the level of factors that affect the effectiveness of farmer groups with the level of effectiveness of farmer groups in Pulau Tengah Village, Jangkat District, Merangin District.Keywords: Effectiveness, Farmer Group.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to propose and predict an improved model for antecedents to work group productivity. Design/methodology/approach The Campion work group effectiveness model (CWGEM) provides a wide variety of variables or constructs to predict and measure the effectiveness of a team, but suffers from limitations. This paper introduces social value orientation (SVO) and suggests its potential utility as an alternative conceptualization of certain portions of CWGEM, which, based on the literature reviewed, has the potential to explain differences in social support, workload sharing and communication and cooperation within groups, resulting in one measure more efficiently replacing three. Findings A series of testable propositions offering revisions to CWGEM is presented, along with special consideration for the inclusion of SVO as a predictor of work group outcomes. This paper expands on a theoretically developed empirical model that can predict differences in work group production. Research limitations/implications The revision to CWGEM presented here requires empirical validation, but work group conflict could benefit from an additional factor that explains interpersonal conflict, as SVO does. Originality/value The authors’ primary contribution is offering a revision to CWGEM that could provide an improved explanation for differences in work group productivity using SVO and a model that could result in a more efficient and better measure.
