The article argues the relevance of determining the indicator of military-technical efficiency of the use of military automobile equipment by units and subunits of the National Guard of Ukraine when performing battle actions (operations). Currently, special indicators are used to assess the state of military automotive equipment, which are a numerical expression of the gauges or their relationship. Existing methods of planning technical support, methods for predicting the quantitative assessment of the military-technical efficiency indicator of the use of military automotive equipment during hostilities need further improvement. The article proposes to use a comprehensive indicator, a generalized coefficient of military-technical efficiency of using military automobile equipment during combat actions (operations), as an indicator of military-technical efficiency of using military automobile equipment in combat conditions, and to determine directions for increasing the efficiency of using military equipment. ABSTRACT Introduction Providing patient-specific clinical care is an expanding focus for medical professionals and researchers, more commonly referred to as personalized or precision medicine. The goal of using a patient-centric approach is to provide safer care while also increasing the probability of therapeutic success through careful consideration of the influence of certain extrinsic and intrinsic human factors in developing the patient care plan. Of increasing influence on patient care is the phenotype and genotype information gathered from employing various next-generation sequencing methods. Guided by and partnered with our civilian colleagues, clinical components within the DoD are embracing and advancing genomic medicine in many facets—from the bench to the bedside—and in many therapeutic areas, from Psychiatry to Oncology. In this PubMed-based review, we describe published clinical research and interventions within the DoD using genome-informed data and emphasize precision medicine efforts in earlier stages of development with the potential to revolutionize the approach to therapeutics. Materials and Methods The new PubMed database was searched for articles published between 2015 and 2020 with the following key search terms: precision medicine, genomic, pharmacogenetic, pharmacogenomic, US military, and Department of Defense. Results Eighty-one articles were retrieved in our initial search. After screening the abstracts for studies that only involved direct testing of (or clinical interaction with) active duty, Reserve, National Guard, or civilian personnel working within the DoD and excluding any epidemiological or microbial isolation studies, seven were included in this review. Conclusion There are several programs and studies within the DoD, which investigate or use gene-based biomarkers or gene variants to deliver more precise clinical assessment and treatment. These genome-based precision medicine efforts aim to optimize the clinical care of DoD beneficiaries, particularly service members in the operational environment.

L.Ya. Dorfman's concept of discipline and K. Martindale's theory of creativity are considered as integrated ones. The mediators between them were personality traits in the theory of H. Eysenck. To measure social discipline, self-discipline, general discipline we used "Discipline Questionnaire" by V.P. Pryadein and L.Ya. Dorfman; creativity - "Unusual Use" test adapted by I.S. Averina and E.I. Shcheblanova; personality traits - H. Eysenck and S.B.H. Eysenck’s questionnaire. We studied cross-theoretical and empirical models of integration as applied to discipline and creativity through extraversion, neuroticism and psychoticism. Empirical models served as mediator models (path analysis), which included the structural components of discipline (general and social discipline, self-discipline) as exogenous variables. Variables of extraversion, neuroticism, and psychoticism were considered as mediators; creativity with components as an endogenous variable. The study involved 243 junior cadets of the Perm Institute of the National Guard of Russia, young men, aged from 17 to 22 (M = 18.60, SD = 0.94). The obtained results indicate that psychoticism integrates general and social discipline with creativity, and extraversion integrates general discipline with creativity. The dual mechanisms, namely disinhibition (impulsivity) and inhibition (restraint), are assumed to be the basis of the results obtained.

The United States Army recently implemented the Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT) which was designed to more accurately measure functional-combat fitness constructs. The ACFT replaced the former Army Physical Fitness Test (APFT). The three advent APFT consisted of: two-minute push-ups (PU), two-minute sit-ups (SU), and a timed two-mile run (RUN). The ACFT consists of six events; 3 Rep Max Deadlift (MDL), Standing Power Throw (SPT), Hand Release Push-up (HRP), Sprint-Drag-Carry (SDC), Hanging Leg Tuck (LTK), and a timed two-mile run (2MR). This study investigated the relationship between Soldier height and body mass kg on ACFT scores of 655 male U.S. Army National Guard Soldiers in a Field Artillery Brigade. For the purpose of the investigation body mass index (BMI) was calculated as the metric representing the Soldier(s) height and weight. The mean and standard deviation (sd) were calculated for the ACFT event and total scores. Pearson correlation coefficients (PCCs or r) were calculated between BMI and ACFT event and total scores. Likewise, PCCs were calculated between the ACFT event and total scores. The ACFT mean(sd) scores were as follows: MDL=92.2(31.8) (3 maximum repetitions), SPT=9.5(2.2) (meters), HRP=24.6(13.1) (repetitions), SDC=119.8(21.7) (seconds), LTK=6.2(5.4) (repetitions), 2MR=1095.0(233.7) (seconds), ACFT total score=442.3(54.4) (points). Significant positive correlations were found between the ACFT total score: MDL (r=0.70), SPT (r=0.50), HRP (r=0.74), and LTK (r=0.76) events. Conversely, significant negative correlations were identified between ACFT total score: SDC (r=-0.68) and 2MR (r=-0.53) events. Within the parameters of this study, Soldier BMI demonstrated no to weak association with individual ACFT event or ACFT total scores. Further, the range of PCCs between the ACFT event scores were no to moderately high. Military leaders may consider the results provided as combat and fitness tests continue to evolve.
