Cognitive as a thought process in the form of the ability to connect, assess and consider something. One of the cognitive abilities that children can develop is to recognize the concept of shape, color and size. Introducing the concept of shape, color, and size to children is important because color, shape and size are the most visible features in the world around us and can help children solve problems in life and adapt to their environment. There are 4 stages of child development, namely motor sensory, concrete pre-operation, concrete operation, and formal operation. Through play activities that contain education, children's thinking powers are stimulated to stimulate emotional, social and physical development. Utilizing the surrounding environment as a means and source of learning by giving children the opportunity to explore experiences gained orally or with creative media. The use of blocks in early childhood education is intended to develop various abilities of children, in addition to providing opportunities for children to explore. Educational game tools (APE) for early childhood are always designed with in-depth thinking tailored to the child's age range. Game tools for children aged 4-5 years are made simpler and not too difficult compared to games for children aged 5-6 years which are more difficult to work on.

This study focuses on students’ cognitive development in answering English tasks based on Piagetian theory. The design of this study is descriptive quantitative with a pilot study to ensure that the tasks are reliable and valid. The subject of this study were 26 students at the third grade of MIN 3 Pekanbaru. While the object of this study is the students’ cognitive development. Data collection techniques used in this study are tests and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are editing, coding and tabulating. After conducting the study, the authors found conclusions on the students’ cognitive development at the third grade of  MIN 3 Pekanbaruare in various levels, namely seriation (57.69%), transitivity (43.59%), composition (65.38%), decentering ( 50.00%), reversibility (52.56%), elimination (61.54%) and egocentrim elimination (24.36%). After calculation, the average of students’ cognitive development is in the medicore level (50.73%), whereas their agesare in the middle of the concrete operation stage, that is between 8 and 9 years old.

Sprayed concrete is a traditional building material, but at the same time it represents a highly innovative technology. The development of sprayed concrete includes material science and advances spraying equipment technology. The performance and characteristics of sprayed concrete depend mainly on the condition of its application, equipments, experience and competence of the crew performing the sprayed concrete operation. This paper presents some aspects regarding a sprayed concrete operation that may have multiple hazards due to the equipment, pressure value and the projection of rebound. In addition, the use of sprayed concrete in underground mining works, involve an adequate ventilation in the application area. Special attention has to be given to chemical admixtures and complementary products use in the constituent materials and finally, in the composition of sprayed concrete.

Nowadays, being confronted with the decreasingly nature resource and environment polluted, effectively mining the potential economic benefits of retired or scrap equipment, studying on planning retired or scrap equipment recycling system, is a very important matter. This paper puts forward an ideology of the recycling of retired or scrap weaponry and equipment based on 3R, by introducing 3R principle which is the core ideology of circular economy. This paper presents a retired or scrap equipment recycling system planning thought, analyzes the system framework which consists of recycling targets, recycling objects, functional elements and participating subject. The preliminary structural Model is established, as well as the concrete operation processes are studied.

Traditional houses in Guanzhong region, known as the rarity of traditional Chinese construction art, has been generally recognized. The practices of modern transformation of the traditional houses in Guanzhong region have been an important research direction in the design of regional architecture. Furthermore, the "abstract-metaphor" mode has been widely adopted as one of the typical design modes by contemporary architects in the concrete operation of this research direction. Therefore, by integrating the theory into practice, this paper elaborates the contributing factors, principles, characteristics and limitations of this mode and proposes the reciprocal improvement principles, aiming at providing a guidance of methodology for the practice in modern transformation of the traditional houses in Guanzhong region.

Though cost plus profit principle has become the main principle that the supervisor holds to determine comprehensive unit price of item of variation of project (hereinafter referred to as CUPIVP) with no specified or similar work unit price, there is no clear and concrete operation method for this evaluation principle, which leads to the difficulties in the practice and causes disputes on payment. This study focuses on the ambiguity of the content and calculation method of cost plus profit in this evaluation principle, defines the structure of comprehensive unit price of varied work, and puts forward a method for cost, profit and falling rate calculation.

In order to measure industry independent innovation ability more scientifically, a combination evaluation model was established based on adaptive genetic algorithm. The basic steps and application principal of how to establish the model was explained in detail, and concrete operation process of the model was introduced briefly by an example. The empirical study shows that using this model to evaluate can get an accurate and object result, which is valuable for government and enterprises.

Interaction is one of the most important characteristic of VR system. In this paper, a kind of Hierarchical Timed Color Petri Net (HTCPN) is defined and an Interactive Manager Model (IMM) of Virtual Maintenance Environment (VME) is established based on HTCPN. With the inputs including operation data from dataglove, collision information between objects and recognized assembly relationship, the IMM output concrete operation event to realize the interactive actions in VME such as navigation, dragging, assembling and disassembling. The practice test illustrate that IMM satisfied the requirements of VME such as real-time and incurrent, as well as realized the treatment of numerous discrete events and the capture of operation intend during virtual maintenance operation.
