AbstractThis study aims to determine the factors that influence the number of domestic and foreign tourist visits and to measure the value of willingness to pay for the benefits of tourism objects in Banda Aceh by using the Travel Cost Method Approach. The type of data used is primary and secondary data. Primary data obtained by non-probability sampling, obtained as many as 30 domestic tourists and foreign tourists as many as 30 people, with the method of analysis of ordinary least square (OLS). Secondary data was obtained from the Central Statistics Agency, Tourism Office and other study literature. The results showed that for domestic tourists, the independent variables on travel costs, alternative costs, time costs, and income had significant effect on the number of domestic tourist visits with an R² value of 0.690. In foreign tourists, the independent variables of travel costs, alternative costs, and income have a significant effect on the number of visits, while the cost of time has no effect on the value of R² 0.693. The average value of WTP of foreign tourists is greater than that of domestic tourists, namely domestic tourists with a WTP of 4,000,000 rupiahs while foreign tourists are 217,000,000 rupiah. Given the large contribution of tourism to the economic conditions in Indonesia, especially in Aceh, the government should maintain and pay attention to the conditions of tourism objects and improve tourism facilities so that tourists reach the maximum level of utility so that it will increase the value of PAPs.

Abstract This  study aims to observe how much influence the policy of gender mainstreaming on employment in  Banda Aceh city. Employment in this study is projected as the number of workers. The scope of this research is in the government of the Banda Aceh city by using SWOT analysis method. The data collected is secondary data obtained through interviews. The results of the study show that based on swot analysis there are several threats, opportunities, challenges, and weaknesses in the implementation of gender mainstreaming policies in employment in Banda Aceh city. The disadvantages are the limited willingness to work, the double burden of women as wives or mothers, lack of socialization and training, and the absence of disaggregated data. The strength of PUG policy is the Law Regulation, one of which is Presidential Instruction No. 9 of 2000, the level of education, skills, and understanding of HR.Government of Banda Aceh city should be able to support this policy through pro-gender equality programs so that there will be no gender gap in the city of Banda Aceh and One of the efforts that can be taken by the government in dealing with the issue of gender disparity is to create gender responsive programs in the form of socialization, discussion, and others that not only involve men but also women.

Abstract This study aimed to analyze the effect of Macroeconomic variables in the form of Economic Growth, Inflation and interest rate of Bank Indonesia (7-Day Repo rate) on Non Performing Loans (NPL) in Indonesia. This study uses annual time series data from 2000 to 2017 with a total sample of 18 years. The model used is Auto Regressive Distributed Lags (ARDL) using Eviews 9. Software The results show that in the short run Inflation has a negative effect on Non Performing Loans (NPL) and Inflation in the previous year  (Lag-1) has a significant positive effect whereas in the long run Inflation has a negative effect, maintained inflation at a reasonable limit to foster a good climate for entrepreneurs to be a stimulus so that they are able to fulfill their obligations, in the long run Economic growth has a significant negative effect and interest rates have a significant positive effect. It is hoped that the government can be more careful in setting the 7-Day Repo rate, given the positive response shown to Non Performing Loans (NPL). In addition, the government must also be able to maintain sustainable economic growth given its negative relationship to Non Performing Loans (NPL). It is recommended for further researchers to add other variables such as stock index, exchange rate, Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) and Charge-off policy (PH) of non-performing loans.

Abstract The aims of this research are to understand the development disparities, income distribution, human development, and the geographical difficulties in North-East, Center-South East, and West-South of Aceh Regions. The methods of analysis used are Williamson Index, Lorentz Curve, Gini Coefficient, Human Development Index (IPM), and Geographical Difficulties Index (IKG). The results show that based on Williamson Index, the developments in the North-East, Center-South East Regions of Aceh are still low. Based on the Lorenz Curve, West-South Region is far from equality line, it is followed by Center-South East and North-East Regions. Thus, it can be stated that West-South and Center-South East Regions experience relatively greater income disparities compared to North-East Region. Based on Human Development Index Calculation, West-South of Aceh is the region that has lowest Human Development Index, then it followed by Center-South East and North-East Regions of Aceh. Based on Geographical Difficulties Index, West-South Region of Aceh has the highest Geographical Difficulties Index compared to Center-South East and North-East Regions of Aceh viewed from the existence of basic services, infrastructure condition, and transportation. The government must strive to reduce development disparities in the North-East, Central-Southeast and West-South regions of Aceh so that there will be no provincial division and conflict between regions.

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of motor vehicle tax and the tariff of transfer motor vehicle name to thelocally-generated revenue, the contribution of the locally-generated revenue to the total revenue of districts in Aceh province. The data used in this research is time series during the period 2007-2013. The data analysis method used in this research is multiple linear regression with ordinary least square (OLS). The results showed that motor vehicle tax and the tariff of transfer motor vehicle name significantly had a positive effect on the locally-generated revenue of districts in Aceh province. The contribution of the locally-generated revenue to total regional revenue is relatively low, the contribution of motor vehicle tax to the locally-generated revenue is higher than the contribution of the tariff of transfer motor vehicle name to the locally-generated revenue, therefore the Aceh government should be able to improve its own regional revenue by digging up new sources of the revenue besides of motor vehicle tax and the tariff of transfer motor vehicle name. In addition and a must that is the increase of locally-generated revenue also needs to be done by improving coordination among fellow related agencies in increasing motor vehicle tax the tariff of transfer motor vehicle name.

Abstract This study aimed to determine the effect of population numbers, GRDP and inflation on local revenues. The model used was the OLS method using panel data. The results showed that the population had a positive and significant effect on the Local Revenue of regencies and cities t-test which showed that the population had  positive regression coefficient of 5.728641 and  significance value smaller than 0.05, that is equal to 0.0001. GRDP had  positive and significant effect on the local revenues of regencies and cities in Aceh. It can be seen in the results of the calculation of the t-test which showed that GRDP had positive regression coefficient of 4.473196 and significance value smaller than 0.05, that is equal to 0.0001, while inflation had a negative and significant effect on the local revenues of the regencies and cities. The regression coefficient value of -0.023161 that inflation had a negative effect on local revenues. If there is an increase in inflation of 1%, it will cause a decrease in local revenues of 0.023161%. Based on the 2-sided test on the individual parametric significant test on the inflation rate variable, The t-count value was smaller than the t-table which was -0.886238 and a significant value of 0.3905 0.05. The coefficient of determination or goodness of fit is obtained by a number of 0.888824. The contribution of all independent variables in explaining the dependent variable is 88.8 percent. The remaining 11.2 percent is explained by other variables outside this research model.

Abstract The purpose of this study was to analyze the comparison of budget management before and after the formation of the new administrative region in Pidie Regency. The data used for this study were the total value of Gross Regional Domestic Product (PDRB) toward constant price, total population and investment obtained from the Financial and Asset Management Board (BPKAD) and Central Statistics Agency of Pidie for the period 2002-2016. The analysis method used in this study was multiple linear regression with the ordinary least square (OLS) method and a dummy variable to distinguish the effect before and after the formation of new administrative regions. The results showed that the investment the BRDP affected locally-generated revenue (PAD), while the number of the population has an adverse effect on PAD. There was the negative difference on PAD before and after the formation of the new administrative region. On the contrary, the variables of BRDP, number of population, and the investment have a significant influence on PAD in Pidie Regency. The government must be more careful in budgeting how much it costs to realize all the income it receives so that it can be seen whether the revenue collection activities are efficient or not. This needs to be done because even though the regional government has succeeded in realizing revenue receipts according to the targets set, the success is less significant if it turns out that the costs incurred to realize the revenue target are greater than the realization of the income it receives.
