There are different types of cancer that occur for different reasons: genetic alterations, environmental pollutants, infectious agents, chronic inflammatory diseases, and so on. Although not exactly known all the causes that can trigger it, it has been proven that in many cases its origin can be the same in humans and animals, not only domestic, but also wild, including rhinos, jaguars, deer, elephants, which can develop this disease but because of the conditions where they live, it is difficult to care for them. Here we will review how some animal species in certain parts of the world have some types of cancer, that being in other places or if they were of another species they would not develop it, and we can also understand how there are families of individuals with cancer and others not. As well as the influence of the environment and certain diseases that can lead to this condition.

Currently, our pets (dogs and cats) live longer thanks to the medical care they receive, unfortunately when they reach old age they face several diseases, including cancer. The sooner we detect cancer in our pets, the more likely we are to be treated.

When talking about cancer, we know that there is an increase in cases in animals, including humans. Due to the close contact with people, there is a greater emphasis on the study and treatment of cancer in companion animals, since by living under similar conditions and developing the same types of cancer they can function as sentinels and models for their study. Cancer development revolves around alterations of genetic material, environmental influence, and interactions of the immune system. Here is a review of some carcinogenic factors inherent to the individual, such as race, gender and age, and external factors such as pollutants in the environment, in the air, water and land, and even in food. Ionizing radiation affects DNA and causes cancer, and there are other lower-energy forms of radiation that must be studied to prove or rule out their long-term carcinogenic effect.

Cancer encompasses a group of diseases characterized by the proliferation of abnormal cells, which divide, grow and can spread uncontrollably in any part of the body. These cells form masses of tissue called tumors or neoplasms, causing problems in the area of the body where they develop; besides, they can spread to other parts of the body. Cancer cells differ from normal cells in many ways: they are less specialized cells, they ignore signals to stop their proliferation and to die when necessary, they influence normal cells, they have the ability to evade the immune system, they grow uncontrollably, and they become invasive. Cancer is considered a preventable disease, adopting strategies to avoid risk factors. In addition to being preventable, some types of cancer can be detected early. The purpose of early detection is to identify the tumor when it is located in the organ of origin, before it spreads to other organs, or to detect precancerous lesions (benign tumors). The correct diagnosis of cancer is essential to be able to establish an adequate and effective treatment. There are a lot of myths and misconceptions about cancer, including that this disease is synonymous with death.

The sanitary contingency derived from the SARS-Cov-2 has drastically disrupted the ways of conducting labor, social and educational processes, evidencing the inequality conditions that persist in Mexican society, and especially in the state of Oaxaca, that prevent some citizens from exercising their right to education, established in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and in the Mexican Constitution. In this respect, this paper questions whether this right has actually been respected by the corresponding authorities, whether the attention to the academic needs of different students has been unbiased, or which are the persistent gaps that limit the people’s access to education.

We live today in uncertain times, experiencing changes and uncertainties, adaptations and modifications that meet resistance. For instance, one field of reference where the Covid-19 contingency undoubtedly has had a strong impact is the educational field. To this respect, one ought to observe the subjects, the people who breathe life into the learning process, whatever the infrastructure or the implemented educational policies may be. In this context, what happens to teachers and students? How are they facing these unsettling times during their learning and teaching processes? How do they feel? What are they getting from this “new” way of teaching, learning, and “being” at school?

This paper integrates opinions and reflections on the complexity of the educational processes in the context of the Covid-19 sanitary contingency. It examines how, since it was declared a pandemic, Covid-19 has revealed great deficiencies in the Mexican educational field, as is the case of the newly implemented ways that are meant to continue with the development of school activities, in all educational levels. This is how we observe, clearly, how difficult the conditions are for teachers and students to conclude their educational tasks in front of a computer screen, which on one hand allows them to feel close among themselves, connected to a network that lets them hear and see each other, and on the other hand, by being so far away from a process that demands a face- to-face relationship, it allows us to study how integral the face-to- face dynamic is to the teaching process.

This paper examines the problem of how Gen Z students have had to violently migrate from an educational system within the classroom to one that only takes place online, involving such apps as TikTok that are now the main components of the academic processes. This paper also assesses the digital gap between students and teachers, who have had to adapt to these new circumstances in order to continue performing their didactic roles.

The word culture refers to the action of cultivating, but over time it has been used to name and encompass different actions, behaviors, manifestations and ways of thinking of the human being. There are several (as) authors (as) who have tried to define it, but in some cases they only focus on the type of settlement or ways of adapting to the environment, the kinds of tools, artifacts or products; Others are more inclined to the behavior of human beings, their beliefs and interactions with different groups, ways of organizing their society or understanding and explaining the environment. By managing to satisfy their basic needs, human beings have been building more complex manifestations, both material, intellectual and spiritual, and for this reason, the definitions of culture have also been changing.
