The aim of this research is to implement the learning of conceptual changes in kinetic gas theory material using process drawings. This research is a pre-experimental with one-group pretest-posttest design for 30 students of XI IPA 7 MAN 2 Probolinggo City. The instrument used is a description test of 6 questions. The results of the data analysis showed that the change in student concept after using process images in kinetic gas theory material increased with an average increase score of 0.51 (medium gain). This happens because students still experience misconceptions on the material laws of gas that are associated with the phenomena of daily life and the effective speed of gases theoretically.

This study aims to determine the achievement and improvement of the abilities gained by students with project-based learning models (PjBL). The method used in this study is a pre-experimental method with research design one group pretest-posttest. This study uses one class. The population of this study was all students of class VII A with total of 36 students. The study instrument used was a test of creative thinking skills and non-test abilities consisting creativity, presentation and percentage, and the implementation of the learning model. The result of this study obtained by paired t-test showed that there is a possibility of using the PjBL model to the creative thinking skills with a significance value of 0.000. These results indicate that PjBL effects creative thinking skills. In addition, the improvement of creativity based on the test of creative thinking skills has a value of 0.56 (56%) with medium category, the average value of innovative products is 85.71% with outstanding classes, and the performance & percentage are 73 with good classes.

This study intends to analyse the student's practicum competencies through Lesson Study activities by applying the Argument Driven Inquiry learning model which was studied using qualitative research with descriptive qualitative analysis techniques. The sample is 13 students in the fourth semester of physics education. Based on students’ practicum reports, the percentage of learning outcomes in the first Lesson Study was 70.91, the second Lesson Study was 84.83. The indicators of student practicum competencies include the competencies of synthesis, cooperation, communication and independence, each percentage gain is 41.03%; 47.12%; 54.49%; 45.77% in Lesson Study 1, and 77.56%; 82.69%; 78.85%; 76.92% in Lesson Study 2. Student responses to practicum competencies for each indicator are 80.13%; 83.33%; 82.05%; 78.21%. These show that there is a positive change in student practicum competencies and the reflection’s results show that there is an accurate prediction of the final measurement result and knowing how to obtain the right measurement outcome.

Self-regulated learning is an effort to manage an individual’s learning. This research aims to 1) determine the strategy of self-regulated learning (SRL) based on problem-solving toward the learners’ learning outcomes and 2) determine the learning outcome improvement of the learners in learning by using the SRL based-problem solving. This research is quantitative research with quasi-experimental type and pretest-posttest control group design. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The research population covered all in Senior High School (SMA 5) Yogyakarta. The samples were from the tenth graders of Mathematics and Science Program 3 as the control group and Mathematics and Science Program 1 as the experimental group. The data collection methods consisted of test and non-test. The analysis result were, the hypothesis test showed that the applied strategy influenced the learners’ learning outcomes and the learners’ learning outcomes had improvements with the N-gain average score of 0.590, categorized moderate. Keywords: Problem-Solving, Self-Regulated Learning Strategy, Simple Harmonic Motion

In learning science, it is necessary to have a learning model that can integrate scientific literacy skills. This study aimed to develop discovery learning-based module to improve students’ scientific literacy. We used R & D research that adapts the 4-D model device development procedure, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. Product assessment was carried out after revision stage I by 3 media experts, 3 material experts, and 1 SMA YPPK Taruna Bakti teacher. To determine student responses, the product was tested for feasibility and readability on 5 X grade students of SMA YPPK Taruna Bakti through a limited trial. The product was revised and tested again through a broad trial on 16 students. The revision through experts’ comments and students’ initial responses has affected the readability, feasibility, and usability of developed Newton’s Law module. There were no students who have high scientific literacy. Students who have low scientific literacy were 13 and students who have moderate scientific literacy were 3. It can be said that the module cannot significantly improve students’ scientific literacy because of online learning environment. Keywords: Discovery learning, Modul, Newton’s Law, Scientific literacy

The purpose of thiis research is to develop multimedia with the STEM approach to stimulate HOTS on bioenergy and wind energy materials. The research and development (R&D) method uses the ADDIE design which consists of 5 step, namely: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This article will only report the first two stages namely analysis and design. The instrument used was a product needs analysis questionnaire and a practitioner validation sheet using a Likert scale. The data source of the needs analysis phase is high school students and physics teachers in Lampung Province. Product design validation was carried out by professional physics-teacher teachers with a Masters in Physics Education qualification. Where data is collected via Google Form and analyzed using descriptive qualitative. The results showed that multimeEdia to stimulate HOTS on bioenergy and wind energy was needed in the field. Multimedia which has the potential to stimulate HOTS on bioenergy and wind energy materials consists of videos and simulation of bioenergy and wind energy plants that contain all STEM.

This study aims to determine the role of social media in learning. We know that today, social media has an indispensable role in the learning process. In addition, social media has made it a smaller world through social media so that people from anywhere in the world can interact without being limited by distance and time. This study used a mixed-method consisting of qualitative and quantitative data. This research involved 308 students in Lampung province. The results of the research conducted stated that 65% of students used smartphones in learning. 73.2% of students stated that the application that is often opened is social media. 87.2% stated that the most frequently accessed social media is chatting media. 48.2% of students prefer playing on social media for learning physics. 72.3% of students stated that they prefer to discuss through chatting media. Based on the results of the preliminary study, the role of social media is very active, 48% of students stated that they use social media for learning discussions. . 43% of teachers stated that they always use social media to support learning. Keywords: social media, physics learning, smartphone
