The present article is intended for really devout Christians. Many Christian men andwomen often ask deep in their heart, how they can do their best to please Father inHeaven. There are guides on how to worship God, to dedicate their bodies and work,but how shall we glorify God with our hair? For women, there is a hint that we canfind in St. Paul’s letters to Corinthians: but are there guides for devout men? It turnsout that is quite delicate matter to discuss. Moreover, as we discussed in a recentpaper in this journal, there is limitation of Aristotelian logic to grasp spiritual termssuch as Trinity or Manunggaling Kawula Gusti in Javanese term. Now, allow us toemphasize the same point using non-Aristotelian logic and non-Diophantinearithmetics. In that sense, spiritual realms go beyond what science cannot go. In thelast section, we will discuss shortly on possible implications of worshiping God in theSpirit and the Truth. Abstrak Artikel ini ditujukan untuk orang Kristen yang benar-benar taat. Banyak pria danwanita Kristen sering menanyakan jauh di lubuk hati mereka: bagaimana kami dapat melakukan yang terbaik untuk menyenangkan Bapa di Surga? Ada panduan tentang bagaimana menyembah Tuhan, untuk mendedikasikan tubuh dan pekerjaan mereka, tetapi bagaimana kita akan memuliakan Tuhan dengan rambut kita? Untuk para wanita, memang ada petunjuk yang dapat ditemukan dalam surat Rasul Paulus kepada jemaat Korintus: tetapi apakah ada panduan untuk kaum pria? Ternyata hal ini merupakan masalah yang cukup rumit untuk dibahas. Selain itu, seperti yang penulis bahas baru-baru ini dalam jurnal ini, terdapat keterbatasan logika Aristotelian untuk memahami istilah-istilah spiritual seperti Trinitas atau Manunggaling Kawula Gusti dalam istilah Jawa. Sekarang, izinkan penulis untukmenyampaikan hal yang sama, namun dengan menggunakan logika non-Aristotelian dan non-Diophantine aritmatika. Dalam pengertian itu, alam spiritual melampaui apa yang tidak bisa dicapai oleh sains. Dalam bagian terakhir, kita akan membahas secara singkat tentang kemungkinan implikasi dari menyembah Tuhan di Roh dan Kebenaran.

KAJIAN TEOLOGIS MURID YANG MEMURIDKAN BERDASARKAN 2 TIMOTIUS 2:1-2

Abstrak Pemuridan adalah harga mati dari seorang murid Yesus. Murid Yesus yang sejati harus menghasilkan murid lainnya bagi Yesus. Pola pemuridan yang benar dan efektif yang diteladankan Yesus, dan dicontoh Rasul Paulus dalam pelayanan dan kehidupannya yang dalam 2 Timotius 1:2 dipercayakan dan diwariskan kepada Timotius untuk diteruskan kepada generasi murid-murid Yesus terus sampai kesudahan akhir zaman sungguh terbukti ampuh. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka melalui buku-buku dan artikel-artikel yang berkualitas dalam membahas pemuridan Kristen. Hasil dari penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa implikasi kehidupan yang bermakna dari seorang murid Kristus yang memuridkan lagi yang harus nyata diperagakan dalam kehidupan kekristenannya sebagai pribadi dan gereja sebagai kehidupan komunitas murid-murid Yesus, yaitu: Pertama, Tetap tinggal di dalam Kristus. Kedua, Hidup dengan tujuan menghasilkan buah. Ketiga, Memiliki hasrat untuk regenerasi dan pelipatgandaan murid. Keempat, Meneladani Yesus yang memuridkan murid. Kelima, Gereja dan pemimpin rohani yang memuridkan. Keenam, Menjadikan pemuridan sebagai gaya hidup. Abstract Discipleship is the fixed price of a disciple of Jesus. A true disciple of Jesus must produce other disciples for Jesus. The pattern of true and effective discipleship that Jesus imitated, and was imitated by the Apostle Paul in his ministry and life which in 2 Timothy 1:2 was entrusted and passed on to Timothy to be passed on to generations of Jesus' disciples until the end of the age had really proven effective. The method in this study uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach through quality books and articles in discussing Christian discipleship. The results of this study conclude that the implications of a meaningful life of a disciple of Christ who make disciples again that must be manifested in his Christian life as a person and the church as a community life of Jesus' disciples, namely: First, Remain in Christ. Second, live with the aim of producing fruit. Third, have a desire to regenerate and multiply disciples. Fourth, Imitate Jesus who made disciples. Fifth, the Church and spiritual leaders who make disciples. Sixth, Make discipleship a lifestyle.

Konversi di Kalangan Orang Percaya: Analisis Biblika Kata “Murtad” Menurut Ibrani 3:12

ABSTRAKKeputusan untuk mengikut Yesus sebagai Tuhan dan Juruselamat seharusnya sudah final bagi setiap orang percaya. Tentunya ada banyak tantangan dalam kehidupan seseorang dalam mengikut Yesus dan ini yang disebut sebagai proses kehidupan. Proses kehidupan bisa terjadi dalam keluarga, pekerjaan, jodoh, masa depan, studi, lingkungan, dll. Setiap orang percaya diharapkan menang menghadapi segala tantangan dan tetap setia dalam mengikut Yesus. Namun dalam kenyataannya, banyak di antara umat Kristen yang katanya sudah mengaku menerima Yesus, setia dalam ibadah, bahkan terlibat aktif dalam pelayanan di gereja lokal, tiba-tiba menyatakan diri menyangkal Yesus Kristus, serta tidak lagi menjadi bagian orang Kristen, dan akhirnya berpindah kepada keyakinan lain. Kemurtadan terjadi karena beberapa aspek yang sebetulnya tidak fundamental dalam kehidupan. Hal ini kiranya menjadi perhatian khusus, supaya setiap orang percaya dapat teguh dalam imannya kepada Yesus Kristus. Artikel ini menggunakan metode deskritif kualitatif berdasarkan kajian pustaka, dengan studi biblika atas Ibrani 3:12. Tujuan penulisan antara lain: Pertama, setiap orang percaya mengerti betul serta memahami bahwa mengikuti Yesus harus setia sampai akhir hidup. Kedua, mengerti secara jelas apa makna dari murtad dan tidak melakukannya. Ketiga, gereja-gereja dapat secara serius mengajarkan tentang kesungguhan dalam mengikut Yesus, sehingga murtad tidak banyak terjadi di antara orang Kristen. Temuan yang dikaji adalah sebuah pemahaman tentang kata konversi (“murtad”), dan ditutup dengan pesan agar kita senantiasa menjaga iman yang teguh dalam Yesus Kristus. ABSTRACTThe decision to follow Jesus as The Lord and The Savior should be final for every believer. There can be many challenges in the life of Jesus’s followers and this is called the process of life. The process of life can occur in family, work, mate, future, study and environment. Every believer is expected to overcome in the face of all challenges and always follow Jesus. But in reality, many Christians who claim to have accepted Jesus and be faithful in worship, and are even involved in various ministry, suddenly decide to deny Jesus Christ and become apostates and are no longer part of Christians, and eventually convert to other beliefs. Apostasy occurs because of some aspects that are not fundamental in life. This is a special concern, so that every believer can keep a firm faith in his/her accompaniment to Jesus Christ. This writing uses a descriptive method research based on relevant literature, and supported by biblical studies of Letters to Hebrew 3:12. The goal here is that trough this article: First, every believer fully understands that following Jesus must be faithful to the end of life. Second, he/she clearly understands what apostasy means and not do it. Third, the church can teach about why one shall be serious in following Jesus, so that apostasies do not occur much among Christian believers. The findings here include understanding the meaning of conversion word (“apostate”), and a few messages for believers on how to maintain a strong life in Jesus Christ.

Abstrak Virtualisasi membuka banyak fakta tentang kondisi gereja saat ini yang telah berubah sifat dan fungsinya. Tujuan penelitian hendak menggugah gereja atas kondisi tersebut di atas. Masa ini dapat mengarahkan kepada dua situasi yang berbeda bagi gereja yaitu untuk tetap berada pada kesalahan jalur mengikuti sistem dunia atau kepada pemenuhan sifat dan fungsi sesuai yang dikehendaki Tuhan. Metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan studi pustaka dan dilengkapi dengan wawancara serta observasi langsung di lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa virtualisasi yang terjadi sebagai momen penting bagi gereja untuk menyadari kesalahan arah dan melakukan reformasi fundamental terkait eksistensinya di dunia ini. Abstract Virtualization opens up many facts about the current state of the church which has changed its nature and function. The purpose of this research is to inspire the church to the conditions mentioned above. This period can lead to two different situations for the church, namely to remain on the wrong track to follow the world system or to fulfill the nature and function according to God's will. Descriptive qualitative research method with literature study and equipped with interviews and direct observation in the field. The results show that virtualization is an important moment for the church to realize the wrong direction and carry out fundamental reforms related to its existence in this world.

Christianity for Weak People: How The Holy Spirit Prays for Believers according to Romans 8:26-27

For many Christian believers, especially whose family members suffer a prolonged sickness or multiple disease complications, it is often perplexing for them that God seems delaying to answer their prayers. And in many cases, God seems to let those family members to die. How could it be understood? That is not an easy problem to digest for many believers, especially if they think they already serve God in ministry, or churches, or other occasions. Fortunately, there are also comforting words to encourage us in such a perplexing situation, such as Romans 8:26-27, which suggests that the Holy Spirit also do intercession prayers for believers. And these two verses were followed by verse 8:28, where St. Paul concluded that from the previous two verses, we know that God works through everything for good to them that love God. Probably, that is the origin of a famous phrase: “God works often in mysterious ways.” This reflective article is intended to shed light on this old question

AbstrakPenguatan merupakan suatu metode dalam penerapan pendidikan karakter keluarga. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana metode reinforcement terhadap penguatan pendidikan karakter keluarga, khususnya di era pandemic covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian pustaka. Reinforcement merupakan salah satu teori motivasi yang bertujuan agar terjadinya pengulangan terhadap tingkah laku yang diberi penguatan. Ada 5 bentuk dari aspek penguatan pendidikan karakter dengan pendekatan reinforcement oleh guru dan orangtua yaitu sikap kehangatan, sikap antusiasme, kebermaknaan hidup, menghindari respon negatif dan keteladanan. Lewat pendekatan ini akan memberikan efek penguatan pada pendidikan karakter kristiani pada pendidikan agama Kristen keluarga. The purpose of this study is to describe how the reinforcement method is to strengthen family character education, especially in the era of the covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a systematic literature review method (library review). Reinforcement is one of the motivational theories that aims to make repetition of behavior that is given reinforcement occur. There are 5 forms of strengthening aspects of character education with a reinforcement approach by teachers and parents, namely an attitude of warmth, enthusiasm, meaning in life, avoiding negative responses and exemplary. Through this approach, it will have a strengthening effect on Christian character education in family Christian religious education.

Hermeneutics is the exegetical method used by theologians to interpret the Bible according to its views and purposes. This research is a qualitative descriptive study to study the hermeneutic interpretation method of the Output event as a form of change. The Exodus events are important in the Bible, especially the Old Testament because God freed His people from the exploitation and oppression of the Egyptians. Theologians use the Israelite exodus from Egypt as the main hermeneutic or interpretive reference for the purpose of claiming and claiming that the exodus event is the basis for contemporary freedom from slavery, oppression or poverty. Through the spirit of exodus events and events, theologians develop hermeneutic methods to interpret output events according to their views and goals. Hermeneutic interpretation method uses an approach; postmodern, reader-centered method, text-centered method, ideological criticism approach, and critical criticism. Peristiwa Exodus adalah peristiwa penting dalam Alkitab, terutama Perjanjian Lama karena Tuhan membebaskan umat-Nya dari eksploitasi dan penindasan orang Mesir. Para teolog pembebasan menggunakan eksodus bangsa Israel dari Mesir sebagai rujukan utama penafsiran atau hermeneutik untuk tujuan semangat pembebasan dan mengklaim bahwa peristiwa eksodus adalah dasar untuk kebebasan dari perbudakan, penindasan atau kemiskinan di masa kini. Melalui semangat pembebasan dan peristiwa eksodus, para teolog pembebasan mengembangkan metode hermeneutik untuk menafsirkan peristiwa keluaran sesuai dengan pandangan dan tujuan pembebasan. There has not been a study on the word ὥσπερ or ὡσεὶ (as) in the Book of Acts Chapter 2 by using Cognitive Linguistic Analysis theorem. Employing a method of interpretation based on such a theory, this study explores the meaning of the words. The hypothesis is the word ὥσπερ or ὡσεὶ.signify the complexity of the Holy Spirit’s role and the the Spirit’s agility. The finding shows that the Holy Spirit has multiple roles and agility beyond human word can describe. However, the Spirit’s main role is guide people to the Lordship of Christ, to transform the disciples to become courageous persons, people with the ability to communicate across borders, and to have agility in following God’s guidance to create real impacts in the society. The church that the Spirit dwells in and leads should possess such fluidity and multiple roles as the Holy Spirit.
