EVALUATION OF THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE TERRITORY BRANDING ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE PROJECT «GOSUDAREVA DOROGA» («SURVAE ROAD »)

Статья посвящена актуальному вопросу оценки эффективности проводимой политики территориального брендинга. Имидж территории, ориентированный в первую очередь на туристов, обладает широкими возможностями влияния на макро- и мезоэкономические показатели, способствует региональному развитию, привлекает внимание потенциальных инвесторов. Вовремя и качественно проводимая оценка эффективности этапов формирования бренда региона обеспечивает принятие верных управленческих решений в условиях неопределенности, характерных для туристского рынка. В статье предпринята попытка оценки результатов брендинга на примере межрегионального маршрута «Государева дорога». The article is devoted to the current issue of assessing the effectiveness of the policies of the territorial branding. The image of the territory oriented primarily on tourists has the wide opportunities of influence on macro and mesoeconomic indicators, contributes to regional development, attracts the attention of potential investors. On time and qualitatively conducted assessment of the effectiveness of the stages of the formation of the region's brand ensures the adoption of faithful management decisions in the conditions of uncertainty characteristic of the tourist market. The article attempts to assess branding results on the example of the Eleregional Route «Gosudareva Doroga» («Survae Road»).

ANALYSIS OF COUNTRY SETTLEMENT AROUND TVER

Цель работы - изучить особенности загородного расселения в Калининском районе (вокруг Твери) для выявления фактической и прогнозной границы активной субурбанизации. Научная новизна исследования: представлена авторская методика картографического выявления границы зоны активной субурбанизации, в том числе выбор основного элемента загородного расселения для решения этой задачи. Актуальность исследования связана с тем, что процесс субурбанизации вокруг крупных городов, особенно в зоне влияния Москвы, идёт активно и возникает проблема определения реальной и прогнозной границы зоны активной субурбанизации. Это важная задача географии в интересах территориального планирования. The purpose of the work is to study the features of suburban settlement in the Kalininsky district (around Tver) to identify the actual and predicted boundaries of active suburbanization. Scientific novelty of the research: the author's method of cartographic identification of the border of the active suburbanization zone is presented, including the choice of the main element of suburban settlement for solving this problem. The relevance of the study is due to the fact that the process of suburban settlement around large cities, especially in the zone of influence of Moscow, is going on actively and there is a problem of determining the real and predicted border of the zone of active suburbanization. This is an important task of geography in the interests of territorial planning.

URBAN-TYPE SETTLEMENTS IN THE RUSSIAN REGIONAL SETTLEMENT SYSTEM

Исследование посвящено поселкам городского типа и их месту в региональных системах расселения. Рассмотрены особенности развития пгт, выявлен характер их размещения, проведено сравнение экономикогеографического положения городов и поселков городского типа. Предложены варианты выделения различных видов пгт. The paper is dedicated to urban-type settlements and their place in the Russian regional settlement system. The peculiarities of urban-type settlement development are considered, their distribution is identified, the economic and geographical location of cities and urban-type settlements is compared. The variants of different types of urban-type settlements are suggested.

THE RIVER LAZUR: DIFFICULT FATE OF THE TOWN RESERVOIR

В статье описывается история трансформации речки Лазурь под влиянием разнообразных антропогенных воздействий. Автор оппонирует некоторым не точным и надуманным высказываниям о речке Лазурь, встречающимся в публикациях. В качестве доказательств приводятся старинные планы г. Тверь и цитаты из архивных документов. Убедительно показано, что до начала XIX века речка Лазурь являлась заметным водотоком на южной окраине г. Тверь. The article describes the history of transformation of the river Lasur under influence of different anthropogenic impacts. The author argues some incorrect and far-fetched statements about this river, which can be found in some publications. As proof in the article some ancient plans of Tver are given as well as archival documents. The author convincingly proves that before the beginning of the XIX century Lazurriver was a notable watercourse in the southern outskirts of Tver.

PEDAGOGICAL DESIGN OF A MODERN GEOGRAPHY LESSON

Цель и новизна исследования - разработка типовых проектов для основных видов уроков (осваивающих, контрольных и обобщающих). Актуальность исследования связана с тем, что внедрение нового образовательного стандарта (ФГОС) предполагает значительное расширение знаниевой составляющей компетенций учащихся. Их формирование должно носить последовательный характер, поэтому наше исследование посвящено вопросам и алгоритмам проектирования учителем современного урока (на примере географии). The purpose and novelty of the research is the development of standard projects for the main types of lessons (mastering, control and generalizing). The relevance of the study is due to the fact that the introduction of a new educational standard (FSES) presupposes a significant expansion of the knowledge component of students' competencies. Their formation should be sequential, therefore our study is devoted to the issues and algorithms for designing a modern lesson by a teacher (using the example of geography).

SUB-MEDIUM CITIES AS A SPECIAL CATEGORY OF SMALL CITIES IN CENTRAL RUSSIA

Статья посвящена особой категории малых городов - субсредним городам. К этой категории городских населенных пунктов отнесены города с людностью от 20 до 50 тыс.чел. В работе проведен анализ роли субсредних городов в территориально-урбанистической структуре регионов Центральной России. Проанализирована динамика людности городов в период с 1959 по 2020 гг. На основе показателей естественного и миграционного движения населения проведена оценка современной демографической ситуации, сложившейся в городах данной категории. Особое внимание в работе уделено анализу центральных функций, который показал важную роль субсредних городов в организации территории Центральной России. На примере городов Тверской области проанализирован вклад данной категории городов в региональное развитие. The article is devoted to a special category of small towns - sub-middle towns. This category of urban settlements is from 20 to 50 thousand people. The paper analyzes the role of sub-mediums in the territorial-urban structure of the regions of Central Russia. The dynamics of the population density of cities in the period from 1959 to 2020 is analyzed. Based on the results of the natural and migration movement of the population, an assessment of the current demographic situation in the cities of this category has been carried out. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the central functions, which showed the important role of sub-middle cities in the organization of the territory of Central Russia. On the example of the cities of the Tver region, the contribution of this category of cities to regional development is analyzed.

QUALITATIVE ASPECTS OF URBANIZATION IN RUSSIA (ON THE EXAMPLE OF PERM)

В статье рассматриваются качественные аспекты современных урбанизационных процессов в России. Подчеркивается необходимость формирования качественной городской среды как важного аспекта урбанизации. Отмечается, что создание современной городской среды подразумевает не только совершенствование управления, формирование имиджа, благоустройство и развитие инфраструктуры, но и внедрение новых технологий и различных элементов «умного города». На примере города Перми рассмотрены проблемы формирования качественной городской среды. Приведены результаты социологических исследований по вопросам оценки качества городской среды жителями Перми, который в преддверии празднования 300-летия стремится обновить свой облик. The article examines the qualitative aspects of modern urbanization processes in Russia. The need for the formation of a high-quality urban environment as an important aspect of urbanization is emphasized. It is noted that the creation of a modern urban environment implies not only the improvement of management, the formation of the image, improvement and development of infrastructure, but also the introduction of new technologies and various elements of the «smart city». The problems of forming a high-quality urban environment are considered on the example of the city of Perm. The results of sociological research on the assessment of the quality of the urban environment by residents of Perm, which, on the eve of the 300th anniversary, seeks to renew its appearance.

THE CONCEPT OF THE RURAL-URBAN CONTINUUM: NEW METHODS OF EVALUATION ASSESSMENT

Цель исследования - показать новые методики исследования расселения, важные для географических исследований и разработок. Представлены две методики и результаты количественной оценки распределения населения относительно городов: в высокоурбанизированных районах мира - относительно агломераций (ФАО, 2017) и глобальное распределение населения относительно городов разной людности как зоны их влияния, обслуживания сельского населения (ФАО, 2021). Результаты исследований выполнены в интересах территориального планирования и доступны в Интернете. The aim of the study is to show new research methods of settlement, important for geographic research and development. Two methods and results of a quantitative assessment of the distribution of population relative to cities are presented: in highly urbanized regions of the world - relative to agglomerations (FAO, 2017) and the global distribution of population relative to cities of different populations as a zone of their influence - serving the rural population (FAO, 2021). The research results are carried out in the interests of territorial planning and are available on the Internet.
