The purpose of the work is to study the features of suburban settlement in the Kalininsky district (around Tver) to identify the actual and predicted boundaries of active suburbanization. Scientific novelty of the research: the author's method of cartographic identification of the border of the active suburbanization zone is presented, including the choice of the main element of suburban settlement for solving this problem. The relevance of the study is due to the fact that the process of suburban settlement around large cities, especially in the zone of influence of Moscow, is going on actively and there is a problem of determining the real and predicted border of the zone of active suburbanization. This is an important task of geography in the interests of territorial planning.

The detection of short optical transients of astrophysical origin in real time is an important task for existing robotic telescopes. The faster a new optical transient is detected, the earlier follow-up observations can be started. The sooner the object is identified, the more data can be collected before the source fades away, particularly in the most interesting early period of the transient. In this the real-time pipeline designed for identification of optical flashes with the “Pi of the Sky” project will be presented in detail together with solutions used by other experiments.

This paper evaluates the real effects of pollution charges reform on [Formula: see text] emissions at the city level. Using the establishment of Comprehensive Work Plan for Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction (The Plan) in China as a quasi-natural experiment, our difference-in-differences estimation shows that: (1) increasing pollution charges has a significant and positive effect on controlling industrial waste [Formula: see text], and this relationship is robust to different specifications and alternative measures; (2) [Formula: see text] emissions can be reduced to achieve reduction targets by forcing companies to strengthen the degree of process production controls and end-of-pipe treatment; (3) eastern and western cities have a better pollution control effect than the other regions, and large cities have better emission reduction effects than smaller cities. Overall, this paper sorts out the evolution of China’s pollution charge policy, and reveals the mechanisms behind the real effects of pollution charges reform on [Formula: see text] emissions, thus providing timely implications for policymakers concerned with environmental protection.

The diversity of cities, their systems and networks has greatly contributed to solving the problems of urban development and enhancing their role in the spatial development of the country. The article aims to show the need for diversity of cities, especially important for Russia due to its inherent differentiation, as the needs of cities of a certain type and category and the conditions of their formation and functioning. This makes the achievement of urban diversity one of the key goals of the state urban policy, ensuring the improvement of the territorial organization of Russia and its parts and improving the efficiency of its economy. The work is based on statistical data characterizing the dynamics of cities and their distribution over the territory; published works on geographical urban studies and socioeconomic development of Russia and its regions; on author’s experience in research of the cities and agglomerations, participation in the state examination of national economic projects, master plans of the large cities, territorial planning at country and regional levels. Historical, cartographic, statistical, comparative-geographical, typological, conceptual design methods are used. Multi-aspect consideration of the theme allowed to draw conclusions useful for successful state urban policy.

The global financial and economic crisis significantly affected enterprises of the real economy sector. According to some estimates, in 2009 about 40% of unprofitable Russian businesses of this economy sector were bankrupt. An important task for the state management is preventing mass bankrupts and non-payments crisis. Some measures to reduce bankrupt risks for enterprises of the real economy sector have been suggested in order to save business and increase its efficiency.

The duration of preparation, approval and ratification of draft master plans of settlements, especially cities of Federal importance, objectively constrains investment and construction processes. The search for opportunities to accelerate the transition from strategic development to the real formation of material and spatial conditions in the form of placement and construction of objects for various purposes is a relevant methodological and organizational task of the state level. The goals, objectives and content of various types of strategic and territorial planning, planning of territories, urban zoning and preparation of urban plans of land plots as an information integrated chain of hierarchy of documents regulating urban planning activities in the administrative-territorial entities are considered. The mechanism of integration of information about the initial, planned and design state of the functional and planning organization of the architectural and spatial environment, which may reveal the possibility of general acceleration of the transition from the design and permit documentation to the physical allocation of sites and construction of objects is proposed. It is concluded that the development of the project process in the field of urban development on the basis of new information technologies will obviously require adjustments to the legislative acts of the Federal and regional levels, which will provide the necessary speed of implementation of the tasks of investment development of social, transport, municipal and industrial infrastructure of the country.

The importance of horticulture around the large cities, called green belt (GB), or proximity food production area is related to its contribution to the provision of food as well as its role on social, cultural and ecological aspects. Geoscience and Remote sensing (GRS) are tools that should aid in gathering and updating the information to develop science-based management plans of this areas. Recently, the improvement in terms of spatial, temporal and radiometric resolutions has changed the performance and the approach to the horticulture remote sensing. In this work, we make a brief review on the literature exploring the use of GRS techniques in horticulture, and future trends in order to exploit the available techniques for efficient crop management in the way to improve territorial planning and management. Specifically we found a lack of academic production in this area. In addition we examine the importance of this landscape areas from different points of view (food security, health, ecology, etc.). A systematic revision of published studies on remote sensing on horticulture including different platforms, sensors and methodologies are briefly presented. Finally some aspect related with future trends are discussed.

Throughout the years RPG games have developed so much to such a way that it is not only a media for playing, but also a media for telling interesting stories based on characters’ interactions. In this study, I observe the process of simulation in the game Persona 4 and how it affects the characters and the over world. With the assumption that the TV world is paralleled to the real one in the sense that they reflect each other and that the characters in the TV world unmask the personalities of the characters in the real world in the way that the TV world version is the representation of the real version’s desire, I would like to analyze the way the TV world acts as an imitation to the real world and how the characters from the TV world unmask the personality of the characters in the real world.  In analyzing the game, I use the theory of simulation and simulacra which was proposed by Jean Baudrillard. In gathering the materials, I play the game and also watch videos of people playing the game in order to get footage and story context which will later be used as proofs. In the analysis I find that social interaction is the main element that makes the TV world parallel to the real world. The parallelism between the TV world and the real world can be seen trough the encounter between the characters from the real world and their counterpart from the TV world.

The results of the research show that the cost range of 1 sq.m. for such objects is very large and ranges from 300 to 1000 US dollars. Which is 2 times lower than the average market prices for typical apartments. Let's analyze the primary and secondary markets of mini-apartments. The houses in which the mini-apartments are located can be characterized. Mini-apartments in reconstructed houses are of great interest to stakeholders. Here they are much lower than their cost. Mini-apartments are now actively bought by the following social groups and categories of people. Mini-apartments in reconstructed houses are of great interest to stakeholders. Here they are much lower than their cost. The classification of mini-apartments was carried out according to the parameters that significantly affect the prices in the studied segment. They can increase or decrease the market value of such real estate. The price is significantly affected by such a parameter as the ratio of total and living space. The author proposes factors that affect the cost of mini-apartments. Researching literature documents and determining the complete ones and the author of the text are the important task of Han Nom studies. When the author and the best text are clearly known, that document values highly. This paper is not beyond our purposes. The issue of the texts of Ngu Che Bac Tuan thi tap has only been up to now made statistics in “the Nguyen Dynasty woodblocks – Section overview”. However, this book argues that this was a work composed by King Minh Menh. Through researching and comparing with official history and other Ngu Che’s texts of King Thieu Tri, there comes the conclusion that it was written by Thieu Tri.
