The study aims to determine the moral values and social values in a collection of short stories by Ahmad Tohari as learning material in class X SMAN 5 Pandeglang. The aim of this study to 1) Provide knowledge about the values contained in short story, 2) Growing motivation in reading short story literature, 3) Increasing interest in appreciating short stories, 4) Able to analyze the values contained in short story literature, 5) Instill the positive values of short stories in everyday life. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis method. Descriptive method is the method used to make broader conclusions. Research data collection techniques were carried out using literature studies or documentation studies on Ahmad Tohari’s short stories. The steps in this descriptive study are, 1) Identify significant problems that can be solved through the descriptive method, 2) Formulate the problem clearly, 3) Determine the purpose and benefits of research, 4) Conduct literature studies related to problems, and 5) Collect and analyze data qualitatively. The steps of data collection are reading Ahmad Tohari’s short stories carefully, recording the appropriate data, identifying and classifying data and making data education. The results of the study indicate that the collection of short stories by Ahmad Tohari contains many values, especially moral values and social values.

This study discusses about the ability of researchers and students in learning to make drama reviews with think talk write technique. The aim of this study is to get an overview of the ability of researcher in the planning and implementation of learning, the ability of students to review drama and the effectiveness of think talk write technique used in learning to make drama reviews. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method. The result of this study shows that the researcher is able to carry out learning to review drama with think talk write technique, which is proven by the value obtained at  3.68 with a percentage of 92.25%, students are able to make drama reviews with think talk writing techniques as evidenced by the average score of 4.2 and the average value of post-test 8.45 with a difference of 4.2, and think talk write techniques is effective to use in learning drama review based on the tcount test of (5.67) ttable of (2.04) at the significance level of 5% with a confidence level of 95% of the degree of freedom 19.

The aim of this study is to determine the level of students’ ability to retell the contents of short stories by using Student Facilitator and Explaining (SFE) methods and the level of students’ ability in knowing the ability to retell the contents of short stories with the expository method and knowing the effect of SFE methods on the ability to retell the contents of short stories in class VIII students of SMPN 1 Cigeulis, Pandeglang District, Academic Year 2018/2019. This study used an experimental method and was conducted at SMPN 1 Cigeulis Pandeglang District Academic Year 2018/2019 by taking the eighth-grade students in academic year 2018/2019. The sample technique uses purposive sampling, namely class VIII A as an experimental class and class VIII B as a control class. Based on the results of data processing, it was obtained an illustration that the ability to retell the contents of short stories using the Student facilitator end explaining method in class VIII of SMPN 1 Cigeulis Pandeglang District in academic year 2018/2019 was very good. These results show that the average ability is 63.6 while students who get above the average score is 72.2% and those who score below the average of 34.4% of the highest score of 80, and the lowest score of 45. While the ability to retell the contents of short stories using the expository method is still lacking, it is shown that the average learning outcomes are 53.1 while students get above the average is 73.3% and those who get a score below average 30% from the highest score of 70 and the lowest value of 35. From the calculation of statistics obtained the results of hypothesis testing (t-test) with a significant level of 5% that is t count greater t table 7.332. It shows that there are differences in the ability to retell the contents of short stories that use the SFE methods to obtain higher learning outcomes when compared to using the expository method.

Languages such as land that has no end to cultivate or become the object of research by researchers, the nature of dynamic language allows researchers to find new cases or even current theories. In addition, the breadth of language studies makes language can be studied or examined from various perspectives, both from the internal or external language itself. In a study entitled “The Use of Language in Livelihoods Traders in Pangandaran in Trading Activities” this language was studied from a sociolinguistic perspective and aimed to find out or know the language usage of traders in Pangandaran in trading activities. Based on the results of the research conducted shows that a) the language usage of traders in Pangandaran tends to use their respective regional languages as proof of language revitalization or retention b) Many phonemes are used when the traders carry out their trading activities c) There is language interference d) Available code switching or mixed code among traders in Pangandaran e) Language influenced by the speakers' background, especially in this research is culture. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive research while data collection techniques in this study are literature review, observation, data collection and analysis.

This research is entitled, Mental Education through the Story of Children Acting post Flood in SDN Idaman 1 Kecamatan Patia, Pandeglang Regency, South Banten. Focus First stage of research, namely research based on quantitative data collection and second stage research, namely research that puts forward quantitative and qualitative approaches to deepen the findings of the research results. The measured variables consist of mental education research variables (variable X) and children’s stories (variable Y). The research model used is field observation (direct observation). The research design consists of several stages. The first stage, a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) techniques will be used to analyze the relationship between mental education education and children’s stories. The second stage, a qualitative approach with in-depth interview techniques and documentation studies is used to obtain explanations related to literary learning and its implications for character formation in students. Data collection methods consist of structured interviews, read notes, and questionnaire techniques. Data analysis techniques used are descriptive qualitative.

This research was conducted to obtain data about how the application of e-learning system through Edmodo application in improving student learning motivation in the language education program, Indonesian and regional literature at Universitas Mathla’ul Anwar Banten. The purpose of the study was to determine the effectiveness of the application of the e-learning system through the Edmodo application in improving student learning motivation. The methodology used in this study is descriptive analysis, meaning that the data obtained from the sample population of the study will be described and analyzed and then interpreted. In other words that analytical descriptive method is a method that aims to describe or give an overview of an object of research that is examined through samples or data that has been collected and make generally accepted conclusions. The sample data used in this study amounted to 56 students, while sampling was done using the “Random sampling” technique. The results obtained are through questionnaires distributed to students with the Google Drive application so that data can be obtained about student learning motivation with the e-learning system through the Edmodo application. The results of the study prove that student learning motivation is very high by using the e-learning system, it's just that the frequency of using Edmodo applications in learning must be improved.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of examples non examples learning model on the ability to write an official letter of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Bojong Academic Year 2015/2016. This study uses an experimental method conducted from April to May, white a population of this research is all class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Bojong students in the academic year 2015/2016. The sample technique used is cluster random sampling, so that from the sampling technique the sample obtained is the class VIII B and class VIII A. Each of them is 28 students. So the overall sample is 56 samples. The VIII B class was given treatment in the form of the use of examples non examples learning model. Whereas class VIII A used an expository learning model in the learning process. Based on the results of data processing, it was obtained an illustration that the students’ official letter writing skill using the examples non examples learning model in the experimental class was quite good. It could be seen from 28 students, there are 20 students or 71.41% who get score more than 68. While the rest 8 students or 28.56% got a score between 50-67 by an average score of 71.78; highest value 83, and lowest value 50. While the students’ official letter writing skill using the expository learning model is not good. As illustrated by 28 students who were sampled, there were 10 students or 35.7% got more than 54. While the remaining 18 students or 64.27% got scores between 30-53. by an average score of 51.35; the highest value is 64, and the lowest value is 30. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a positive influence on the use of examples non examples learning model on the ability to write an official letter for eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Bojong academic year 2015/2016.
