Syair Nasihat (hereinafter abbreviated as SN) is an old literary work written in Arabic letters and utilizing the diversity of languages that exist in the archipelago. Therefore, a study of the SN manuscript needs to be carried out comprehensively and holistically so that the diversity of languages used to instill the values of local wisdom can be used as a source of inspiration for literary learning in the future. The method used in this study is the text editing method, namely the critical edition method. The use of this method is expected to provide good and correct SN text edits. The text study method used is a literary research method, especially semiotic studies. Thus, the use of language and its symbols contained in the SN text can be fully disclosed so that the results of the study can be useful for the world of education in welcoming the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0. AbstrakSyair Nasihat (selanjutnya disingkat SN) merupakan karya sastra lama yang ditulis dengan huruf Arab dan memanfaatkan keragaman bahasa yang ada di Nusantara. Oleh karena itu, kajian terhadap naskah SN perlu dilakukan secara komprehensif dan holistik sehingga keragaman bahasa yang dimanfaatkan untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal tersebut dapat dijadikan sumber inspirasi bagi pembelajaran sastra di masa yang akan datang. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah metode penyuntingan teks, yaitu metode edisi kritis. Penggunaan metode ini diharapkan dapat menghadirkan suntingan teks SN yang baik dan benar. Adapun metode pengkajian teks yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian sastra, khususnya kajian semiotik. Dengan demikian, penggunaan bahasa beserta simbol-simbolnya yang terdapat dalam teks SN dapat diungkap secara tuntas sehingga hasil kajiannya dapat bermanfaat bagi dunia pendidikan dalam menyambut Revolusi Industri 4.0 dan Society 5.0.

In the early years, children learn by taking an action and touching opportunities which experiences the world as much as possible. It is an internal process that allows children to meaningfully reflect their experiences from abstract to further learning. Literature and project-based learning management is a learning approach that strengthens the attitude of the pursuit of knowledge, helping children to have a habit of reading, creating opportunities to leading in the discovery of something meaningful to life. The research objectives were to study learning outcomes of young children through literature and project-based learning. Twenty-five young children were studied and reported their learning outcomes. Data were collected through variety of methods: observation, debriefing focus group, and interviews after the scenario. Data were collected by qualitative and quantitative methods. The findings indicated that young children had the highest level of understanding and ability to manage literary learning and projects. They also had ability to provide the most literary and project management environment were ranges low and highest based on the different perception and potential of learning. It can be recommended literature and project-based learning is suitable for early childhood education.

Education is a place where humans are formed to find and collect various information that will certainly be useful for shaping and developing human cognitive intelligence about many things, one of which is about ecology (environment / nature). In studying Indonesian, ecological discourse material (text) is one strategy to integrate environmental education and social interaction, as well as cultural customs of the community, especially Malay-Langkat which aims to form and develop mindsets and patterns of action, as well as healthy behavior both physically and mentally in everyday life. Through literary learning, educators are required to be more creative and sensitive in choosing interesting and suitable materials to be delivered instead of just fixating on the targets to be delivered and existing lesson plans, without thinking further about other things that can be used as a source of learning. But the availability of local ecology-based texts is still very little. This research aims to produce a Malay- Langkat literacy-based fiction text material that is feasible and effectively used at the high school level. So this research will focus more on developing a literacy culture to produce a literate generation, a generation that understands what is read and does something based on its understanding of the content of the reading. The literate generation is a generation that is intelligent, capable, characterful, and competitive. This research is a development research that adapts the 4-D Development model. Research and development steps are carried out using modifications and the Thiagarajan development model that is 4-D. This development model uses 4 stages consisting of define, design, development and dissemination.

This study was aimed to describe the problems of learning literature and offered the solutions that were expected to overcome the problems of learning Indonesian literature in schools in a global context. This study used a qualitative approach and contextual methods through a literature study. The results of this study indicated that only through continuous efforts the problems of literary learning could be realized as follows:  Students were needed to be guided to know literature in a fun way and instill longing. Students read literary works directly, not summaries or reviews. Students were given the freedom to convey various interpretations in discussing literary works. Every opinion or achievement of student work was given an award. The portion of literary appreciation must be prioritized in literary learning. Knowledge of theory, definition and literary history was sufficient to serve as secondary information when discussing literary works. Reading and writing skills were closely related to learning to appreciate literature. Literary appreciation began with reading activities, while literary expression was related to writing literary works. Thus, literacy development through literary learning in the form of reading habits and writing skills in turn was able to form a strong generation and can compete in a global life that was full of challenges.

The use of text with character content  in learning is one of the efforts to strengthen children's moral kognition which is one of the keys to ordering characters. This study aimed to analyze the character values contained in the story of Rasulullah and test the readability of the story. The results of the value analysis by were validated by value education experts, language education experts in elementary schools and hadis experts. Researchers conducted a readability test using Raygor and fry graph. The results show that there are five stories that contained the main values of social care and the accompaniment values of patience, empathy and generosity. The readability test results show that the five stories are suitable for reading by children aged 1o to 12 years. From these results, the story of the Prophet is right for use in literary learning with the aim of instilling character.

This study aims to describe the education value of religious character in Assalamualaikum Beijing novel by Asma Nadia. The method which is used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The data source in this research is Assalamualaikum Beijing novel by Asma Nadia. The data in this study is the education value of religious character in Assalamualaikum Beijing novel by Asma Nadia. The data collection techniques in this study used documentation study techniques. The validity of the data in this study used theoretical triangulation technique. The data analysis technique in this study used interactive data analysis techniques. The results of the study found that the education value of religious character in Assalamualaikum Beijing novel by Asma Nadia is a form of religious relationship between humans and God, including piety, prayer, repentance, and tauhid. The form of the religious value of human relations includes affection and kindness. The results of this research can be used as a media to strengthen the religious character of students through literary learning.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji penggunaan pronomina persona dalam cerpen Kesetiaan Itu  karya Hamsad Rangkuti. Data penelitian berupa satuan lingual berupa kalimat-kalimat yang mengandung pronomina persona. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini berupa sumber data tertulis berupa paragraf-paragraf yang terdapat pada cerpen. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data pada penelitian ini adalah metode dokumentasi dan metode catat. Penelitian ini menggunakan validitas semantik yaitu data mengenai pemarkah pronomina persona sebagai sarana kohesi hubungan antarkalimat dalam wacana cerpen dapat dimaknai sesuai dengan konteksnya. Instrumen penelitian berupa kartu data. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode agih. Hasil penelitian ditemukan sebanyak 173 pronomina persona pertama, 65 pronomina persona kedua, dan 192 pronomina persona ketiga. Semua pronomina persona yang ditemukan bersifat takrif. Pronomina persona yang paling banyak ditemukan berwujud aku, -mu dan -nya. Hasil penelitian dapat diimplikasikan dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMP karena teks cerpen merupakan medium pembelajaran sastra. Siswa diharapkan dapat memahami penggunaan pronomina persona dalam teks cerpen. Karakter tokoh dalam cerpen tersebut dapat diteladani siswa dalam menjalani kehidupan nyata di masyarakat.  Untuk itu, guru harus mampu membuat skenario pembelajaran di kelas.Kata kunci: pronomina persona, cerpen, pembelajaran bahasa IndonesiaAbstractThis study aims to describe the use of personal pronouns  in Kesetiaan Itu short story by Hamsad Rangkuti. The data were lingual units in the form of sentences with personal pronouns. The data sources were paragraphs in the short story. The data were collected through documentation and note. They were analyzed by the distributive method. The findings show that there are 173  the first personal pronouns,  65 the second personal pronouns, and 192 the third personal pronouns. All personal pronouns were found are definitive. The most pronounced personal pronouns is aku, -mu, and -nya. The findings can be utilized in the Indonesian language learning at junior high schools because short stories are a medium of literary learning. Students are expected to understand use of personal pronouns in short stories. The characters in the short story can be emulated by students  life in the community.  For this reason, teachers must be able to create learning scenarios. Keywords: personal pronouns, short story, Indonesian language learning

Literary learning materials are one of the important components used by teachers in learning activities. Good learning materials can help students achieve learning goals. Sources of literature learning materials tend to focus on reference books from the government. Even though there are still many literary learning materials that can be used, one is novel. The research objective was to describe the teacher's response to Satin Merah's novel by Brahmanto Anindito and Rie Yanti as literary learning material at Senior High School. This research uses a pragmatic approach. The research is based on the reception of Indonesian language teachers at the Senior High School level on the feasibility of a novel based on the feasibility assessment of the BSNP in terms of content, language, and presentation. This study indicates that Satin Merah's novel's feasibility level is 82.5%, which means that this novel is feasible and has a good reputation as literary learning material at Senior High School. The feasibility results are shown in terms of content feasibility of 84.2%, language feasibility of 81.5%, and presentation feasibility of 82%. In terms of content, this novel develops self-potential, has creativity and depth of story, and develops readers' characters to love and preserve local culture. In terms of language, the language used is following Indonesian rules and according to the target audience. In terms of presentation, this novel pays attention to the building blocks and mostly develops characters and inspires readers.

Karya puisi Tere liye menggambarkan perasaan cinta, sajak tentang memiliki, pun tentang melepaskan. Sajak tentang pertemuan, juga tentang perpisahan. Sajak tentang kebahagiaan, juga tentang kesedihan. Sajak bergurau, bercanda dengan perasaan. Para pencinta adalah pujangga terbaik yang pernah ada dan kasih sayang pun adalah sumber inspirasi paling deras yang pernah ada. Model sosiologi sastra membuat siswa terkesan dengan sajak tere liye ini karena bermanfaat terhadap sifat-sifat kebaikan dan pendidikan karakter tentang cinta dan kasih sayang. Siswa dalam memahami cinta dan perasaan menjadi seseorang yang kuat, optimis dan tidak mudah putus asa. Masyarakat dengan latar belakang pendidikan, suku, agama, ras, dan antar golongan memahami puisi ini akan mengubah sikap dan perilakunya dalam memahami cinta, dan juga siswa serta masyarakat dapat mengambil manfaat moral dan ideologi dari model sosiologi sastra ini. Tere liye menyadari makna cinta dan perasaan seorang sehingga menghubungan nilai moral dengan sajak atau puisi cinta ini. Seperti makna kasih sayang adalah perasaan ikhlas dan bukan nafsu itu terkadang terjadi pada sebagian orang yang sedang jatuh cinta bukan cinta berlebihan memberikan kasih sayangnya dengan tulus dan ikhlas terhadap orang yang dia sayangi.Kata kunci: Sosiologi sastra, puisi, sastraABSTRACTTere liye's poetry portrays the feelings of love, the poem about having, and about releasing. The poem about the meeting, also about separation. The poem about happiness, also about sadness. Sok jokes, jokes with feelings. Lovers are the best poets ever and love is the most powerful source of inspiration ever. The model of sociology of literature makes students impressed with this tere liye poem because it is beneficial to the virtues and character education of love and affection. Students in understanding love and feeling become someone who is strong, optimistic and not easily despair. People with educational, ethnic, religious, racial, and interreligious backgrounds understand this poetry will change their attitudes and behavior in understanding love, and also students and society can take the moral and ideological benefits of this model of sociology of literature. Tere Liye realizes the meaning of one's love and feelings so as to connect moral values with this poem or love poem. Like the meaning of affection is a sense of sincere and not lust sometimes happens to some people who are in love instead of excessive love to give affection sincerely and sincerely towards the person he cares about.

Character education is needed to build quality human resources. This study aims to describe and explain the values of character education through problematic characters in the novel Orang-Orang Biasa. The data in this study are data on the values of character education in the form of dialogue quotes, sentences, and paragraphs in novels. The data source is Andrea Hirata's novel Orang-Orang Biasa. The data collection technique uses documentation techniques with reading, recording, and assessment activities. The validation technique used is the theory triangulation technique and data triangulation. The data analysis technique uses an interactive model analysis technique which includes three components, namely: (1) data reduction; (2) data presentation; and (3) drawing conclusions. The results showed that the novel contained eight values of character education, namely integrity, preseverance, kindness, responsibility, self-discipline, courage, good judgment, and respect. This value is represented by eight different figures. Novels of Orang-Orang Biasa can be used as a medium to add values to character education through literary learning.
