This study aims was to investigate the metacognitive abilities of elementary school students. The subjects of this study were elementary school students and teachers from two districts namely Tulungagung and Trenggalek Regencies who had diverse scientific abilities. The data were collected through a questionnaires, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed through several steps: data collection, data refinement, data processing, data analysis, data analysis process, and conclusions of research results. The results of the study are the aspects of strategic knowledge that is the problems found in schools based on learning strategies that are often done by students, namely repetition. In the aspect of task knowledge it was found that students did not use the right learning strategies with the assignments given by the teacher. While the students' self-knowledge, students have different characteristics. There are students who excel in the academic and non-academic fields. So that each student has advantages and disadvantages both mastery of learning material and outside of learning. This causes differences in achievement for each student. Keywords: elementary school students; metacognitive.

Our initial study in the course showed that there was a lack of students understanding about social science. The purpose of this study was to investigated the effectiveness of using Cooperative Learning Model (Cooperative Script, Articulation, and Guided Note Taking) towards Pre-Service Elementary Teacher understanding on Social Science Course. This research was conducted in quasi-experimental research, with counterbalance research design. The subjects of this study were first year of undergraduate students of pre-service elementary school teacher education at the University of Kuningan. The data collection technique used was an instrument test which was an essay question. The data analyzed by statistical test with the t-test (independent samples t-test) at a 95% confidence level obtained tcalc > ttable and probability value sig. (2-tailed) < 0.05. The results of this study proved that there are differences in students' understanding so that the hypothesis is accepted. In our context, Cooperative Script was more sophisticated in improving student understanding compared to Articulation and Guided Note Taking. The limitation of our context means that there is no best method to be applied. Keywords: understanding; cooperative script; articulation; guided note taking; pre-service elementary teacher

It was rarely the academicians, and practitioners knew how to make the standardized instruments to analyze the student's multiple intelligences. The purpose of this study was to describe the development of a standardized instrument of multiple intelligences for children in elementary school. The research method used was descriptive qualitative. In qualitative research, the research instrument was the researcher himself. The research instrument was not external or objective, but internal or subjective, namely the researcher himself without using tests, questionnaires, or experiments. Therefore the direct presence of researchers was a necessity in qualitative research. The data collection techniques used were observation and documentation. The results obtained in this study were to identify multiple intelligences in 7-12 years old children, we could use standardized instruments based on the classification of children's multiple intelligences. To analyze the development of multiple intelligences of 7-12 years old children, we could use the major theory of Gardner and Armstrong. The development of standard instruments used to measure multiple intelligences of 7-12 years old children, we could use 13 steps of Jamaris theory. This development step unravels the theory, determines the basis, then turns it into a standardized instrument that can be used to measure the type of multiple intelligences in 7-12 years old children. How to use the standardized instruments and its recommendations for teachers are discussed. Keywords:multiple intelligences; standardized instrument; development

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of worksheet implementation on students mathematics learning outcomes. The participants of the study were fifth-grade students of SDN Kebon Pala 12 Pagi. The research was conducted in the second semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. The quantitative research method with a quasi-experimental design was conducted to answer the research question. The post-test only control group design was implemented in this experimental research. The data collected by multiple choices question developed by the researcher. The validity and reliability tests of the instrument were tested before the instrument administered to the participants. According to Biserial Point Correlation, there were 40 multiple choice questions with 30 valid questions and 10 drop questions. The reliability test using the KR-20 formula obtained r calc = 1.033 > r crit 0.361 = r crit, then the data has a reliable instrument. Before the data analyzed in hypothesis testing, the normality test using the Liliefors were conducted to determine the normality of the data collected, the result shows that Lo = 0.0521 < 0.161 = Lt, it can be concluded that the data is normally distributed. While the homogeneity test using the Fisher test obtained F calc = 1.44 < 1.93 = F crit, it can be concluded that the homogeneity testing obtained by the group variance data which is homogeneous distribution. The result of the hypothesis test used t-test proved that t calc 10.169 with t table 2.006 and α = 0.05, therefore the Ho is rejected which states that there is a significant influence of worksheet implementation on the students learning outcomes. Keywords: elementary student; student worksheets; mathematics learning outcomes.

ABSTRACTInstructional media within the educational institutions could bring the world into the classroom and enhance effective management of education. This study examined the relationship between projected media, non-projected visual, simulation and games and management of elementary education in public primary schools in Kwara State, Nigeria. Stratified random sampling technique was used to select 306 head teachers from a population of 1, 406 and 384 teachers from a population of 14,206 in public primary schools in Kwara State with the use of Research Advisor (2006) table of determining sample size of a known population. Data was collected using Instructional Media and Management of Elementary Education Questionnaire (IMMEEQ). The data was analysed using descriptive statistics and t-test statistical analysis. The results showed that there were significant and positive relationship between projected media, non-projected visual, simulation and games and management of elementary education. Based on the findings it was therefore recommended that government and head teachers should provide appropriate projected media for teachers to disseminate information to learners in the classroom. Also, head teachers should continue to encourage teachers to make use of non-projected visual to arouse the interest and gain the attentions of the learners in order to aid the teachers explanations and make learning of subject matter understandable to learners during teaching and learning process. Furthermore, teachers should also make use of simulation and games to enhance effective learners performance in learning in order to realize effective management of elementary schools education in Nigeria. Keywords: instructional media, motivation, projected media, elementary education, organising
