Condenser is a high pressure side heat exchanger in which heated vapor enters and gets converted into liquid form by condensation process. In the condenser coil, gaseous substance is condensed into liquid by transferring latent heat content present in it to the surrounding. In the whole process, mode of heat transfer is conduction in condenser coil and forced convection between refrigerant and condenser. Any refrigeration system's backbone is comprised of condensers. It aids in the transfer of heat from the refrigerant to the universal sink, which is the atmosphere. The latent heat of the refrigerant is lost in the condenser. At the entry of the condenser, vapours from the compressor enter, and during the length of the condenser, the vapours are converted to liquid form, resulting in refrigerant in the form of saturated or even sub-cooled liquid form at the condenser's exit. In several sectors of chemical and petroleum engineering, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is a common tool for simulating flow systems. As a branch of fluid mechanics, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is an appropriate tool for investigating and modelling the ANSYS Program. The applicability of CFD studies for simulating the ANSYS Program was reviewed in this work. Ansys CFD is one of the industry's most powerful simulation packages

To create a competitive and resource-efficient transport system, the European Union transport policy provides by 2030 achieving almost zero carbon dioxide emissions of vehicles used in large urban centers, and gradually phasing out the use of vehicles using traditional fuels - by 2050. The large-scale and accelerated development of the principles of electric mobility in Europe can make a significant contribution to the realization of these goals, has a positive impact on the ecological friendliness of the environment, and can also improve the situation with employment in Europe. However, it is impossible to abandon immediately of piston power units, including diesel ones - there are too many of them. Moreover, considering the size of the ―carbon footprint‖ of cars, which means the totality of all the harmful emissions and greenhouse gases that an object produces during its life cycle, it is currently impossible to state unambiguously about the environmental superiority of electric vehicles compared to cars equipped with gasoline and diesel engines. Therefore, the development of approaches that can justify strategic directions, describing the principles of long-term operation of machines with various types of engines, is relevant

Face recognition is one of the interesting types of biometric which determines the presence or absence of human faces in the picture. In this paper, a face recognition system is presented that benefits from an optimized architecture based on the MLP neural network. The proposed method considerably improves the speed and the accuracy of detection compared to traditional architectures of neural network. To reduce the overall computation, neural network is organized so that to be able to rule out the majority of the non-image areas located in the image’s background before applying the main algorithm. An important advantage of this new architecture is its homogeneous structure that makes it suitable for optimized implementation on a hardware platform. In this work, FPGA is used as the platform for implementation of the proposed algorithms. The implementation was done considering Taylor expansion of the activation functions. The performance of the proposed method and the implemented system was evaluated on the BioID dataset. Accomplishment of the proposed method is high precision while reducing training time and total calculations, together with appropriate robustness. Finally, a comparison with other face recognition methods has been done to show the performance of the presented system. The comparison result shows that the proposed system outperforms the other mentioned methods.

-In this study, the effects of cryogenic treatment on tool wear and surface roughness of tungsten carbide inserts coated with TiAlN were investigated as a function of cutting speed and feed rate. It is observed that the surface roughness increases with increased cutting speed, feed rate and also applied cryogenic processing. In other words, the effect of feed rate and cutting speed is very high on the surface roughness. On the other hand, the results showed that the cryogenic treatment is a non-effective process to enhance the wear resistance and tool life of inserts due to brittle region between coated layer and surface

“Wave-piercing” super-planing trimaran with air-born unloading, WPT, is developing of “wave-piercing” catamaran, WPC, for twice bigger achievable speeds. As all fast vessels, WPT needs for minimal weight of hull structures. Using of pre-stressed structures is a novel method of hull weight decreasing. An example of such structure of WPT begins from external load estimation. And the scheme of pre-stressed structure is selected: two pairs of steel ropes along and across the WPT above-water structure. Than method of pre-strength is selected: constant or varied forces. Varied external loads define the need of varied pre-stress control. Estimation of the corresponded system weight: total structure of above-water platform can be decreased at about 20%. The method can be applied for airplane wings too.

It may be necessary to improve the engineering properties of clayey soils to make them suitable for construction by using some kind of stabilization methods. Treatment with lime, cement or waste materials such as silica fume (SF) has traditionally been used for the stabilization of clayey soils. The soil chosen in this research was extracted from a site in Edfu- Aswan, Egypt. Investigating the effect of properties of cohesive soils when mixed with SF is the main objective of this study. Silica fume is a mineral made up of ultra-fine solid, amorphous silicon dioxide glass spheres (SiO2) from the metallurgical industries company (E.JS.C) in Edfu. A series of laboratory experiments for samples prepared with different percentages were implemented of SF 0%, 2%, 4%, 6%,8%, and 10%. The results show that the blend will increase the maximum dry density of clayey soils. Their Plasticity Index and the liquid limit would increase, the permeability of clayey soil decreases, the unconfined compression strength will increase. All of these results can be summarized to say that the engineering properties of cohesive soils can be improved by combining Silica Fume and clayey soils together.
