The surgical removal of the buccal fat pad or Bichectomy is an aesthetic-functional procedure with aesthetic attributions associated with the face contour, smoothness and symmetry of facial lines, in addition to its therapeutic performance linked to the reduction of intraoral lesions caused by repetitive masticatory stress, as well as aid in the closure of spaces created by tumors, oral-sinus communication and others; this tissue also offers the possibility of being used as a graft for the treatment of intraoral pathologies and covering bone exposures in defective implants. The performance of this procedure is by intraoral access and its final result can be observed after approximately three months.

This case report demonstrates the use of plasma gelas a chin filler. Plasma gel is a material obtained from platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and its subsequent heating in an incubator. It is a safe option in relation to other fillers because it is an autologous biomaterial and therefore with low risk of immunoreaction. The chin was filled in bollus in the central part and with the tunneling technique on the sides. 0.2 mL of plasma gelwere used at each point, totaling 0.6 mL of the biomaterial. The protocol for this case was one session, with a reassessment after 28 days. Plasma gel proved to be effective as a temporary facial filling material. However, studies on its durability are lacking.

Among the procedures for facial rejuvenation, thread lift are currently widespread among professionals and highly sought after by patients. This demand can be justified because they are procedures, without incisions, shorter inactivy time, low operating time, and for the risk of postoperative complications when compared to rhytidoplasty. These are procedures capable of promoting collagen stimulation, elevating ptosis tissues, and adding volume to the application areas contributing to the restructuring of the face. Thread lift have evolved considerably over the years and can be now meet on absorbable devices based on polydioxanone and polylactic acid. In this article is proposed the use of Fiobloc® thread lift for the purpose of assessing their affectiveness in the replacement of ptosis tissues.

Wired facial lifting is a minimally invasive technique that allows for a quick lifting effect. The aim of this study is to address the effectiveness of spiked Polydioxanone (PDO) threads (cog) for facial rejuvenation of the lower third of the face, through a clinical case report. The methodology was characterized by a brief bibliographic review, through an electronic search in the databases: Pubmed, Lilacs, Cochrane and bibliographic bases published in the USA and Brazil, associated with a clinical case report, making it possible to compare it with data from the literature on complications, safety and efficacy in the short and medium term. It is concluded that the aesthetic treatments seek to soften the signs of time and rescue the elasticity and firmness of the dermis. For this, it is necessary to elucidate the physiological effects, providing opportunities for safe treatment.
