Sustainable economic development does not occur without entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship is the practice of starting new organizations or revitalizing mature organizations. This study therefore is done to analyse the impact of innovation, technology and on the entrepreneurial development activities in Nigeria. Simple random sampling technique was used to select a total of 12 entrepreneurs from Lagos State that constituted our sample size. The primary data consists of a number of items in well- structured questionnaire that was administered to and completed by the respondents. Regression analysis was used to analyse the data. The results showed that there is significant relationship between technological innovation and entrepreneurship development in Nigeria. It is therefore recommended that government should create a friendly or an enabling environment for entrepreneurship and consumer goods to boost the Nigeria economy.

There is a clear research issue for Wales regarding the roles and interactions of government policy, HEIs, SMEs and the creation and dissemination of innovation. A study of the views of key policy makers concerning innovation and entrepreneurship in Wales is undertaken, especially with regard to the development of innovation within SMEs and the policy implications for economic regeneration. The role of a variety of actors (including users and suppliers) is considered, as is the impact of networks of SMEs linked together in patterns of cooperation and affiliation. From the results and the analysis of interviews, key points of significance to innovation, entrepreneurship, higher education and economic regeneration policy making in Wales are reported.

Innovation and entrepreneurship are considered key factors of growth and survival of modern economies. According to Schumpeter (1934), “carrying out innovations is the only function which is fundamental in history". The review of recent studies reveals that high levels of newly growing up innovative firms are strongly related to economic growth (Stam, 2008).The vinculum of innovation, entrepreneurship and economic development is a matter of great interest at the present time. Given this context, the aim of this study is to explore the relation of Innovative Entrepreneurship and economic growth and its role in economic development of G20 member countries. For this, an overview of literature regarding the impact of innovation and entrepreneurship on economic development is discussed. Background. Bench to Bedside is a 7-month-long medical innovation and entrepreneurship program at the University of Utah in which teams comprising students from various disciplines work together to identify health care problems and develop novel technology solutions. Student teams are provided a small prototyping budget, access to device development workshops, prototyping facilities, and expert faculty and industry mentors. Teams then compete for seed funding at the Bench to Bedside competition at the end of the program. In 2014, we created global health–specific resources, mentorship, guidance, and award incentives as a means to drive global health technology development in the program and then studied our impact after 6 years. Methods. We reviewed program data collected continuously between 2011 and 2018 to evaluate the impact of global health incentive initiatives on the development of global health–related technologies. We quantified the number of global health teams based on both team-declared data and objective evaluation of each competing technology. Results: The initiation of global health technology incentives was associated with an annual overall doubling of teams pursuing the development of global health–related technologies from an average of 11.4% to 24.8% ( P = .003). Conclusions. A student medical technology innovation program designed to address global health needs is an effective means of generating new solutions to improve global health care. The use of global health–specific awards and mentors raised awareness of the need for affordable global solutions and incentivized teams to pursue development.

This paper presents the views of key policy makers concerning innovation and entrepreneurship in Wales. The development of innovation in SMEs and the policy implications for economic regeneration are also analysed. The role of a variety of actors (including users and suppliers) is considered, as is the impact of networks of SMEs linked together in patterns of cooperation and affiliation. Qualitative research methods include policy literature analysis, an interview survey and a discussion of the policy implications for the economic regeneration of Wales. In light of the results of the study, the authors set out the key points of significance for innovation, entrepreneurship, higher education and economic regeneration policy making in Wales.

Objective of the study: This empirical research tests the direct and indirect impact of creativity on entrepreneurial intention, by applying the theory of planned behavior (TPB) as the underpinning framework.Methodology/approach: Quantitative research was conducted through a survey of 703 undergraduate students in Vietnam. Structural equation modeling with Amos version 23 was used to test the theoretical model.Originality/Relevance: Creativity is assumed to be a common characteristic of entrepreneurs and a prerequisite for innovation and entrepreneurship, but the findings on the influence of creativity on entrepreneurship intention are inconsistent in literature. This research uses a mediator effect to explain this inconsistency and focuses on the direct and indirect impact of creativity on entrepreneurship intention in an Asian emerging country.Main results: Analytical results show that creativity has no significant direct effect on entrepreneurial intention. Rather, it has an indirect effect on entrepreneurial intention through three determinants (attitude, subjective norms, and behavioral control).Theoretical/methodological contributions: The study provides empirical evidence to confirm the importance of attitude, subjective norms, and behavioral control, which together fully mediate the impact of creativity on entrepreneurial intention.Social/management contributions: These results have several implications for promoting entrepreneurship in university students.

In recent years, innovation and entrepreneurship education is one of the hot spots of higher education research and practice in China. Innovation and entrepreneurship education can be taken as a new direction. Despite the commonly held view that entrepreneurship education drive the promotion of entrepreneurial intention, little is known about the mechanism through which this intervention impacts on entrepreneurial intention. Based on the assimilation learning theory of cognitive structure and the planned behavior theory, the purpose of this work is to analyze the relationship between innovation and entrepreneurship education (IEE) and entrepreneurial intention from the perspective of educational psychology, to explore the influence mechanism of IEE on entrepreneurial intention, and to promote the success of college students in entrepreneurship. In this study, questionnaires were conducted among college students of different colleges, majors, and grades in Anhui province, with the aid of multiple linear regression analysis and mediating effect model analysis. The results show that IEE has positive effect on entrepreneurial intention. In addition, entrepreneurial knowledge plays a mediating role in the relationship between IEE and entrepreneurial intention. And the mediating effect of innovation behavior and entrepreneurial attitude is not obvious. These results are expected to provide evidence for understanding the relationship between IEE and entrepreneurial intention under the background of Chinese education, to enrich and expand the theoretical basis of IEE, and to possess theoretical, empirical, and practical significance for the design and implementation of innovation and entrepreneurship education for college students.
