Both the authors’ previous experience and the devoted literature highlight the particular role of teacher-student communication for the quality of graduates’ professional development and education. The research presented herein is based on a sociological survey conducted in a large university from north-west Romania, on more than 600 Economics Master’s students.The chief goal of our research is to determine efficient ways to improve the student training provided by the master programmes in Economics, by means of a better stimulation on the part of the teachers, a more efficient teacher – student communication, a better quality of the teaching materials employed and a greater relevance of the educational content for the particular area of specialisation pursued.After an initial review of the material resulted from the sociological survey, we continued to analyse the results in relation to the tiers of the communication process, the role of groups in the learning process and of the education process in the development of emotional intelligence.Within the current phase of our study, the underlying hypotheses are:(1) The training of Economics and Business Administration students provides them with opportunities of professional specialisation, while developing skills and abilities useful in everyday life.(2) The students’ training in Economics also entails an implicit educational process, which supports the development of their emotional intelligence.(3) Multiculturalism bears manifold benefits, both in terms of specialist professional training and on graduates’ attitudes and behaviour in the social life.This study allowed us to validate the hypotheses and to draw some interesting conclusions for the education of students enrolled in the university surveyed.


The article analyzes different approaches to the definition of «social networks» as technological complexes of organization and management of electronic information exchange among the subjects of social relations, united by common interests, information needs and skills. Based on the analysis of the scientific literature the essential characteristics of social networks that affect the formation and development of the adolescent's personality are revealed. Role of social networks at the present stage of development of society, which is manifested in the representation of interests not only of social groups but also of entire social groups, is defined in the article. The negative impact of social networks on the personality of the adolescent, which is manifested in the expansion of adolescents in cyberspace, the desire for independence and adulthood, selfexperimentation, which leads to risky activities both on the Internet and in real life are revealed. Concept of safe behavior in social networks as a set of actions of the individual when using the Internet, helping to meet the needs and at the same time prevent the possibility of causing damage to physical, mental, social well-being and property of man and others is analyzed. The basic rules of safe behavior in social Internet communities are highlighted. The structural components of safe behavior of adolescents in social networks are singled out: cognitive, motivational and actionreflexive; the concept of «professional training of future social professionals for the formation of safe behavior of adolescents in social networks» is revealed. Readiness is revealed as a result of the process of training future social specialists for professional activity on the formation of safe behavior of adolescents in social networks; the author's definition of the concept «readiness of future social professionals to form safe behavior of adolescents in social networks» is given. Components of readiness of future social workers to form safe behavior of teenagers in social networks, such as cognitive, motivational-personal and activity, are described.

В данной статье рассматриваются вопросы использования кейс-технологии в развитии профессиональных компетенции. Рассматриваются труды по проблемам разработки и реализации технологий обучения, ориентированных на профессиональную подготовку студентов. Данная технология обучения основана на разрешении производственных проблем, лежащих в реально существующих ситуациях учебной деятельности. Кроме этого указано, что кейс-технология это специальный метод обучения, заключающийся в обсуждении и выработке решений по определенному разделу учебного курса, использовании конкретных случаев для анализа, и выполнения определенных задач. Изучены особенности реализации кейс-технологии в образовательном процессе медицинского вуза для формирования и развития профессиональных компетенций у студентов-медиков. This article discusses the use of case technology in the development of professional competencies. Works on the problems of development and implementation of training technologies focused on professional training of students are considered. This training technology is based on solving production problems that lie in real-life situations of educational activity. In addition, it is indicated that case technology is a special method of training, which consists in discussing and developing solutions for a certain section of the training course, using specific cases for analysis, and performing certain tasks. The features of the implementation of case technology in the educational process of a medical university for the formation and development of professional competencies of medical students are studied.

While online education continues to grow, virtual instructors face certain asynchronous uncertainties when it comes to knowledge exchange with students. These challenges are especially prevalent in the cybersecurity and programming domains. To counteract such uncertainties and minimize teaching deficiencies expected to occur in asynchronous learning environments, this chapter assesses knowledge factors that impact virtual knowledge transfer and absorption processes. Synchronicity framework is proposed to integrate knowledge-seeking behavior, knowledge properties, knowledge domains, knowledge types, knowledge tools, and technology synchronicity. A real-life case is provided to integrate the framework in practice.

In the last few decades there has been a tremendous amount of research on synthetic emotional intelligence related to affective computing that has significantly advanced from the technological point of view that refers to academic studies, systematic learning and developing knowledge and affective technology to a extensive area of real life time systems coupled with their applications. The objective of this paper is to present a general idea on the area of emotional intelligence in affective computing. The overview of the state of the art in emotional intelligence comprises of basic definitions and terminology, a study of current technological scenario. The paper also proposes research activities with a detailed study of ethical issues, challenges with importance on affective computing. Lastly, we present a broad area of applications such as interactive learning emotional systems, modeling emotional agents with an intention of employing these agents in human computer interactions as well as in education.

This paper presents a theoretical approach to collaborative design management. The goal is to integrate design and engineering knowledge in the conceptual phase of building design. Based on an integral design process model, morphological overviews are used as a tool to implement C-K (concept-knowledge) theory, to increase knowledge creation and to stimulate knowledge exchange within the building design team. The project was carried out in close cooperation with professional societies within the building design field. The set-ups of the workshops used to implement and to test the theoretical approach are presented as well as the experiences of the participants. More than 100 experienced professionals participated in the workshops and the workshops now have become part of the permanent professional training program of one of the professional societies.

This study argues for the significance of the cultural approach to the professional training of the future tourist guide for intercultural communicative interaction. Notably, meeting the constantly growing needs of the tourist market consumer is a pressing issue. It is emphasised that the professional training of a specialist in this field should be focused on providing a high quality theoretical and practical training for a specialist to be ready for professional and communicative interaction with consumers of tourist services. Intercultural communication is seen as a purposeful connection between different cultures, which performs an exchange of information, cultural and spiritual value through professional activities to meet the needs of tourists, while taking into account the uniqueness of every culture. When interacting with the audience, the guide uses methods of pedagogical influence, which are based on didactic principles (scientific, ideological, connection with real life, accessibility, system, responsiveness and persuasiveness). They define the content, organisation and methods of educating tourists during the excursion, regardless of them being children or adults. The excursion method is the basis of the tour and is a compilation of the ways for the guide to share the knowledge and tourists’ reception of this knowledge.

Purpose: In this context, the current study aims to carry out an implementation analysis of knowledge network in Campania region, Italy. This region has implemented, using Measure 1, Measure 2 and Measure 16 of Rural Development Plan 2014-2020, an experimental model of AKIS.Methodology: The methodology was based on a living-lab approach where involved actors have an active role as co-innovators.Findings: The results give hints to implement, in the last period of the Cap 2014-2020, others experimental AKIS based on the Rural Developments Plans.Unique contribution to theory, practice and policy: The development of new agricultural practices and its spread to obtain more sustainable agriculture has become an important issue for researchers and policy makers. In particular, growing attention is paid to the Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation Systems (AKIS) expression used to describe the whole knowledge exchange system, the ways people and organisations interact within a country or a region. AKIS can include farming practice, businesses, authorities, research and can vary a lot, depending on the country or sector. However, the complexity of the AKIS implemented in Campania region requires particularly effective governance instruments and a continuous monitoring and evaluation processes to elicit innovation needs.  Therefore, in the next CAP 2014-2020 measure related to advice (Art. 13 - COM (2018) 392 final) and ‘knowledge transfer and information actions’ (Art. 72 – COM (2018) 392 final) should be strategically integrated to implement modern and tailored advisory programmes based on different advisory work approaches to better meet the needs of all parties. This issue needs a testing time useful to better plan policy intervention for the next CAP.
