The aim of this chapter is to analyse what repercussion the adoption of certain types of information and communication technology (ICT), by firms, may have on collaborative innovation. It is our belief that tools such as Internet access, e-mail, and the presence of internal and inter-organisational communication networks, will promote and facilitate the signing of cooperative agreements. The empirical analysis performed on a sample of 1,649 firms partially confirms this intuition, since the existence of a network, bringing the firm into contact with its subcontractors, customers, and/or suppliers, increases the propensity of firms to cooperate in innovation.

This paper deals with the legal issues related to combating cybercrime in the global information and communication networks through comparative analysis of relevant legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Western European countries. The purpose of this research is to identify the specific features of present cybercrime, to develop a conceptual framework, to specify new forms of cybercrime and to find the main directions in combating cybercrime. The research methodology was based on dialectical, comparative legal, sociological, system-structural and statistical methods, as well as on social experiment. The study gave the possibility to disclose specific features of cybercrime, provided a universal definition of cybercrime, which can be used in international conventions as well as in international criminal investigation. The study highlighted two new types of cybercrime - cyber-terrorism and identity theft with the view of committing crimes, which could be included in the Convention on Cybercrime. The authors of this study developed a universal conceptual framework that can be used in international legal instruments and international cooperation in combating cybercrime and formed a unified approach to address some legal issues related to cybercrime in the global information and communication networks.

The article is devoted to the study of the existing legal framework for the protection of minors in the Republic of Kazakhstan from negative impacts in the information sphere, as well as the priority areas of development of national legislation in this area. Today, in the context of globalization, information and communication networks, including the Internet, are an important, and sometimes the only source of information for children. The pandemic of the new coronavirus infection COVID-19 is a confirmation of this, when, against the background of the lack of real communication, children began to spend most of their time on the Internet. Education, leisure, and communication have all moved there. The role of information and communication networks in the life of modern man cannot be overestimated. At the same time, they can be a source of threats and risks to the health, development and mental well-being of children. It is established that the current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan contains a number of normative legal acts aimed at ensuring the information protection of minors. However, the system of legal and organizational protection of children in the information sphere is currently at the stage of formation and does not provide a comprehensive response to modern, exponentially growing information challenges and threats. In order to eliminate this gap, it is proposed to develop a unified national strategy for the protection of children in the information environment, with its provisions fixed in the basic document.

The article is aimed at building up a model of e-commerce development adapted to the realities of our time and peculiarities of the development of infocommunications of the country. The current status of development of infocommunications is analyzed together with related activities of the enterprises, which are using the digital platforms for conduct of business. It is determined that the development of e-commerce is slowed by the inequality of access to modern information and communication technologies and low activity of certain economic actors regarding trade operations through the Internet. An adaptive model of e-commerce development is proposed, which is based on the consideration of the conditions of the external contour of development of enterprise along with the internal contour in the aspect of the existing resource base and potential development opportunities. The model requires an information base of e-commerce development processes, contains methodical principles for analyzing the internal and external contours of e-commerce development, as well as methods of forecasting changes in the external contour and determining the internal potential. The necessary element of the model is determination of the criteria for the possibility of e-commerce development in existing conditions combined with formation of a list of invariant models for different platforms, which would be the most acceptable in the conditions of external contour. The need to take into account existing cyber risks and apply measures to minimize them in the process of e-commerce development is substantiated. It is defined that the development of e-commerce leads to an effect on micro-, meso- and macro-levels, which in the end can lead to emergence of a synergistic effect. The feedback function contained in the model allows to link the stage of determining the results to the formation of invariant models of development, which should be activated in the absence of desirable results according to the selected model of e-commerce development. Further research will be directed to substantiate the criteria that determine the possibility of e-commerce development under the conditions of both internal and external contours.

The article is devoted to the study of the remote form of employment of workers as one of the forms of employment at a distance. The main problems of remote work development in Ukraine and ways of their solution on the legislative basis are given. The bases of transition of the worker to the remote form of work are considered. All positive and negative aspects of remote employment for both employees and enterprises are analyzed. Developed effective tips for employees who work remotely. It is concluded that the COVID-19 pandemic and the dynamic development of information and communication networks are a confirmation of the urgency of improving social and labor relations of remote employment. Remote work at home is more conducive to procrastination than in the office, so it is worth taking measures against this phenomenon. Namely, remove everything that can distract from work, turn off all voice messages. The opposite extreme of procrastination is also possible, especially for those who live at home alone. This is when you do not have to go anywhere during the day and in the evening, a person can easily immerse himself entirely in work, rework a lot, and eventually burn out. Working from home, especially when you live alone, you can easily start yourself. This applies not only to hygiene, but also to an attractive appearance, and socialization and basic needs of the body may also suffer. Having healthy freshly prepared food, the required amount of movement and sleep directly affect the health and well-being of the employee, which in turn affects his efficiency. Another disadvantage of working at home, which must be compensated for somehow, is informal conversations with colleagues. Such communication benefits each individual employee and the company as a whole. They are important for generating new ideas, inspiration; is a source of information about what is happening in others; help to feel part of a large team and not feel isolated. It is difficult to compensate for all this in the remote form of work, but it is necessary to try. You can create working group chats, video calls, virtual extracurricular meetings and in general it is very important not to lose contact with the team and the world around you.
