The study of the spatial-temporal pattern and social performance of urban public services is a basic task for achieving urban fairness and justice. Through spatial analysis and social performance evaluation, this study explores the evolution of spatial-temporal patterns and the social performance of community sports and fitness venues in Shanghai from 1982 to 2019. The results show that the construction of Shanghai’s community sports and fitness venues presents the evolution pattern of “urbanization-suburbanization-reurbanization”. The center of construction has always been in the urban area and first moved toward the south and then toward the north. Government investment was the main source of funds for the construction of venues, and social investment has been steadily growing. The number and area of multiple types of venues has increased significantly, including trails, gymnasiums, and courts. The overall service coverage radius of Shanghai’s community sports and fitness venues has been significantly increased, and the regional equality between the core and peripheral areas has been obviously improved. The overall per capita service location entropy has not been significantly improved. The old city center and the peripheral area have always been the low-value areas, and the old city center is surrounded by high-value areas. The “low-high-low” three-circle spatial structure continues to exist, but around the old city center, the scope of the high-value area has expanded markedly. There was a significant optimization of social performance from 1999 to 2009. The social performance of the community sports and fitness venues in urban areas is better than that in suburban areas, but the optimization of social performance in suburban areas is greater than that in urban areas. The above analysis is expected to provide references for rationally arranging urban sports and fitness spaces, enhancing the fairness of urban public services, improving the quality of residents’ lives, and assisting the implementation of the “Healthy China” national strategy.

The evaluation for rural-urban integration plays an important role in the process of the harmonious development of rural and urban areas. The latest progress of existing researches on the Performance Evaluation of Regional Urban-rural Integration was reviewed systematically. Some local governments used the evaluation system to evaluate the rural-urban integration in their territories. The article tries to summarize the literatures about evaluation method for Urban-rural integration,to investigate the weak point about evaluation of urban-rural integration. The new problems will also be point out and the problems need to be further researched.

Extending the life span of buildings and improving residential quality has been an important goal for creating residential environments with sustainable development over recent years. This study aims to establish the performance evaluation indicators of long-life high-quality condominiums in Taiwan areas. To identify the evaluation indicators, this study first identified the users’ basic needs, and referred to comparative analysis of the house performance evaluation indicators in other countries. A questionnaire survey based on the Kano model was conducted to explore respondents’ satisfaction with evaluation indicators. Finally, three indicators, including “equipment pipeline maintenance available on each floor”, “maintenance plan”, and “site transportation routes”, were identified as the items of first selection priority from the indicators. Four indicators, including “exposed equipment pipeline”, “site open space”, “water resource recycling”, and “expandability of interior space” are listed as obsolete items for the time being. The results of this study can be used as reference for the establishment of the performance evaluation indicators of long-life high-quality condominiums in Taiwan, as well as for the establishment of performance evaluation indicators for new residential buildings within the scope of the redevelopment plans of dangerous and old buildings in urban areas.

The growth of urban areas and the population has favored the increase in pollution and consequently the contamination of river waters. This clue has aroused interest in several aspects, mainly related to the fate and possible effects that these contaminants can cause to human health. The analysis of erythrocytes in fish is an efficient mechanism to identify the presence of genetical terations that maybe being caused by emergent contaminants. This article presents a new proposal for automatic identification of erythrocytes in fish using SLIC segmentation approach and connected components, adjusted using supervised learning, and presenting the performance evaluation in different aspects of the image.


The consumption of electricity in urban as well as rural is increasing every day and became an essential commodity for household and industrial purposes. Unfortunately the availability of electrical energy in India is not sufficient to the required demand and it is essential to discover and generate energy from non-conventional sources with cheap cost. On the same time it is necessary to reduce the consumption of conventional sources and to save fuel. Among all the renewable resources, wind is one of the best resources available all the time at free of cost. Especially vertical axis wind turbines (VAWT) are self-starting, omni directional. They require no yaw mechanism to continuously orient towards the wind direction and provide a more reliable energy conversion technology, as compared to horizontal axis wind turbine. Particularly savonius vertical axis wind turbines (SVAWT) are suitable and practically possible at low or uncertain wind speed regimes. They can be fitted on rooftops and also suitable for the urban areas where electricity is not available properly. This project deals with the fabrication and performance evaluation of savonius vertical axis wind turbine using two blade rotor. The amount of power developed by the wind turbine is calculated under theoretical and practical conditions and aerodynamics coefficients are also estimated. And various design parameters of savonious rotor are identified and determined.

<p>Passenger public transportation is a means of transportation used to serve the public in DKI Jakarta, along with the increase in private vehicle ownership which is increasing while urban transport has decreased the number of passengers. The decline makes demand not proportional to availability. There are several factors that influence the decline in public interest in using city transportation, one of which is the level of service provided is still inadequate, therefore it is necessary to conduct an evaluation of the performance of urban transport on the Jak 21-30 route. Based on the results of the evaluation using the technical guidelines for organizing public transportation in urban areas on fixed routes and routes, as well as minimum service standard parameters based on the World Bank, the method used is performance evaluation carried out by analyzing public transport performance. For Load Factors there are differences in SPM, the standard issued by the 2002 DRJD Decree is &lt;70%, including Good, while the 21-30 route is still moderate, while the standard issued by the World Bank that is 70% includes compliance, there are 2 routes that do not meet standard. Headway on all routes is good. Travel time on the World Bank, there are 2 routes that do not meet the SPM ideal time of 1-1.5 hours, with the results of the analysis still under 1 hour. So in comparison using the SPM (World Bank) Standard does not meet because the round-trip routes on the Jak 21 and 22 routes are too short and have major centers such as airports and malls.</p>
