Indonesian reformation era begins with the fall of President Suharto. Political transition and democratic transition impact in the religious life. Therefore, understandably, when the politic transition is not yet fully reflects the idealized conditions. In addition to the old paradigm that is still attached to the brain of policy makers, various policies to mirror the complexity of stuttering ruler to answer the challenges of religious life. This challenge cannot be separated from the hegemonic legacy of the past, including the politicization of SARA. Hegemony that took place during the New Order period, adversely affected the subsequent transition period. It seems among other things, with airings various conflicts nuances SARA previously muted, forced repressive. SARA issues arise as a result of the narrowing of the accommodation space of the nation state during the New Order regime. The New Order regime has reduced the definition of nation-states is only part of a group of people loyal to the government to deny the diversity of socio-cultural reality in it. To handle the inheritance, every regime in the reform era responds with a pattern and a different approach. It must be realized, that the post-reform era, Indonesia has had four changes of government. The leaders of every regime in the reform era have a different background and thus also have a vision that is different in treating the problem of racial intolerance, particularly against religious aspect. This treatment causes the accomplishment difference each different regimes of dealing with the diversity of race, religion and class that has become the hallmark of Indonesian society.

ABSTRACT This paper reveals textual and contextual Randai, among other things, an analysis of Gerak Ga­ lombang Randai, an analysis of the character of Anak Randai, and at the end of the study series, to reveal the values contained in Randai as a cultural reality, which in principle is an inseparable part of the existence of Minangkabau community as the cultural support. The variety of motion used in Gerak Galombang Randai is not only a decoration of the motion beauty (tangible), but it also can be translated, as well as a symbol or emblem that has educational meanings (intangible), and can be an example of the daily life of the indigenous Minangkabau society. Keywords: Minang Dance aesthetic, Randai, textual­contextual analysis  ABSTRAK Tulisan ini mengungkap teksual dan kontekstual Randai, di antaranya, analisis terhadap gerak galombang Randai, analisis karakter tokoh anak Randai, dan sebagai akhir dari rang- kaian penelitian ini, mengungkapkan nilai-nilai yang terdapat pada Randai sebagai realitas budaya, yang pada prinsipnya merupakan bagian yang tak dapat dipisahkan dari eksistensi masyarakat Minangkabau sebagai penyangga kebudayaan. Modern social and cultural reality forces the heads of medical institutions to pay increased attention to the human factor, rethinking such basic concepts as «management» and «organization». It is important to cultivate the most comfortable person-centered work environment in medical teams. The main goal of this article was to demonstrate the feasibility of using robust management to maintain the constant attention of the medical administration on the interpersonal relations of employees. The article contains a brief description of robust management tools, a description of the person-centered approach, as well as examples of the use of robust regulators and socionic profiling estimators. The potential of robust management is not revealed when the management simply declares its merits, but when the entire medical team wants and can use it, actively involved in achieving the desired result.

This chapter presents a second case study showing another concrete example of the issues to which probabilism was applied. Like the previous chapter, this chapter puts the theoretical and theological discussions on probabilism into the concrete social, economic, and cultural reality of the post-Reformation Catholic Church. This chapter explores the relationship between Catholic theology and money lending by examining the key role that probabilism played in helping theologians to maintain the traditional Catholic ban on usury while at the same time engaging with the burgeoning money-market economy and with other religious traditions with different doctrinal and social views on money, such as Judaism.

The chapter reports on work concerned with the issue of how conceptual metaphor theory (CMT) functions as a link between culture and cognition. Three large areas are investigated to this effect. First, work on the interaction between conceptual metaphors, on the one hand, and folk and expert theories of emotion, on the other, is surveyed. Second, the issue of metaphorical universality and variation is addressed, together with that of the function of embodiment in metaphor. Third, a contextualist view of conceptual metaphors is proposed. The discussion of these issues leads to a new and integrated understanding of the role of metaphor and metonymy in creating cultural reality and that of metaphorical variation across and within cultures, as well as individuals.

The children's segment of culture — "music about children" and "music for children", being formed in the media environment, under new conditions needs close attention of scientists and updating of analytical tools for research. Acquiring features and qualities that differ from those previously inherent, this area requires scientific comments on various parameters — in terms of dynamics, prevailing directions, etc., opening new horizons for studying musical culture of the information community. The article discusses the possibilities of using search engines (Google, Yandex) to review children's musical products in the media space of modern society. The changing environment and conditions for musical culture determine the necessity of new approaches, including those from marketing technology for researching the content of genre trends, studying consumer interest, obtaining statistical information, etc. With the help of Internet applications (Trends, Wordstat) there is a prospect to analyze musical and cultural reality of society in the web search mode, revealing the comparative degree of popularity of different objects, in this case, related to the children's mass media sphere. The results obtained allow to state the predominant demand for entertainment products, which is a general trend in cultural life, regardless of the age category of consumers.

The current controversies in relation to homosexuality - which emanated from the western quarters but quickly engulfed the entire Anglican Communion - highlight two significant issues. In our view, the first issue, regarding the ‘religious citizenship’ of lesbian and gay Christians, is generally a western concern. The second issue pertaining to the prospect of the disintegration of the Anglican Communion, however, needs to be examined within a global context. On the first issue, we argue that, since the contemporary western religious landscape (and society in general) prioritizes the authority of the self rather than that of religious institution/tradition, the traditional religious discourse that marginalizes lesbian and gay Christians is undermined by an increasingly sophisticated reverse discourse. This reverse discourse, equipped with lesbian and gay affirming theology and documentation of lived experiences, also converges with contemporary cultural (secular) discourse of human rights and personal liberty, which values social diversity, including sexual difference. We believe that the social and political currency of the reverse discourse will proliferate, thus eclipsing the traditional discourse that appears increasingly out of step with contemporary western socio-cultural reality. On the second issue, we welcome the heightened significance and relevance of (local) culture and Christianity in the debate. We argue that the decentralization (i.e. de-westernization) of the Anglican Communion should be welcomed, for there are various versions of Christianity, the conception and practice of which are closely informed by local cultures. Thus, to force the production of a unified Anglican response to moral or social issues that are differently defined across cultures may prove counter-productive.

The present article deals with a number of themes that pertain to culture and language relation in bilingual reality, most notably how bilingualism is defined and classified in the literature, and how bicultural bilinguals’ languages and cultures are interconnected. In the subsequent research part, the reported data formed the basis for conclusions supported by two-year observation and interviews of 4 Spanish-English bilinguals. The case studies allowed to gather information regarding their linguistic and cultural behaviour and how they identify themselves both linguistically and culturally. Each case study is discussed and conclusions on parallel points along with dissimilarities between accounts of the linguistic and cultural reality experienced in both languages are outlined.
