The progress of information, computer and telecommunication technologies has led to the formation of a special virtual sociotechnical environment - the global Internet, which every year strengthens its leading position in the media system. This situation has a direct impact on the system of spiritual culture, since one of the key elements of socio-cultural reality is the translation of its content into wide sections of society, primarily those that are in the stage of socialization and inculturation. However, a serious gnoseological problem for modern sociology is the potential of the Internet as an instrument of cultural communication, since the Internet, due to a number of functional characteristics, turns out to be a suboptimal form of cultural translation. In this regard, the paper defines the parameters of the influence of the global information and communication system on the processes of socialization and inculturation in modern society, which, under the influence of virtual practices, are significantly deformed and are more spontaneous. It is concluded that there is an ambivalent impact of the Internet on the communication space, which creates risks for the reproduction of the socio-cultural system of Russian society.

Globalization may be thought initially as the widening, deepening and speeding up of worldwide interconnectedness in all aspects of contemporary social life, from the cultural to the criminal, the financial to the spiritual. The article describes the historical stages of learning the language of the Ukrainian press. Attention to the language of journalism is due to the fact that the selection and use of language is characterized by a combination of two requirements – the desire to strengthen both the logical and emotional side of expression. The study of the language of journalism, namely the language of Ukrainian newspapers, has a history. The appearance of a significant number of articles on this topic was facilitated by language discussions on language culture, which in some way also affected the language of the press. In the 20’s of the 20th century the language of the press stood out as a separate variety. It is determined that the basis of its development was the vernacular. It was found that the «newspaper language» developed in close connection with the language practice of the intelligentsia and influenced the prestige of the national language. The language of the media is dynamic in nature, so it responds most quickly to all changes in public consciousness and reflects the state of the latter, influencing its formation. In the language of the media it is easy to see the new trends in approaches to language learning that can be traced in modern linguistics. The role of the media in modern society is difficult to overestimate. They have a powerful potential for the state of public opinion, as most of their ideas about the world people get from newspapers and magazines. Characteristic features of the mass media are their publicity, i.e. an unlimited number of consumers; indirect, divided in space and time interaction of communicators; unidirectional influence from the communicator to the recipient, the impossibility of changing their roles The study of the language of the media in recent years has also become particularly relevant. This is due to at least two factors: the situation of the functioning of literary language at the turn of the century and the priority for modern linguistics tendency to consider language material from a communicative standpoint, given the representation of language knowledge in human consciousness and patterns of language communication.

AbstractDeath and the mass-media represent two recurring and connected presences throughout Don DeLillo’s fiction. While his canonical novel White Noise is themed around the paradoxical link between the pathological fear of dying and consumerism, his latest novel Zero K is about the deferral of death through cryonics. Using the analytical tools of critical theory, the current paper aims to analyse how the portrayal of death appears in the media saturated and consumer-driven environment in which DeLillo’s characters evolve, and how technology contributes both to fuelling the obsession with dying and to feeding the illusion of immortality.

The article examines the frequency of the content of aggression in the media and its impact on the human psyche. The article presents the results of a study of the frequency of manifestation of aggression in the media, using the method of quantitative content analysis, which is based on the study of the content of any documents, media materials, literature, works of art, personal and official documents. As an object of research, we identified the frequency of manifestation of aggression, the material of the study is a random sample of 7 films ("The Great Gatsby", "Pompeii", "State Councilor", "The Third Extra", "The Diary of Memory", "Law Abiding Citizen" and "Bruce omnipotent"). The units under study are movie episodes, which we have divided into 7 categories: open manifestation of aggression (verbal and non-verbal); display of humor; unreal situations (fantasy); manifestation of sentimentality; neutral and positively oriented neutral plots; narration; manifestation of fear. Having considered all the units of study of a random sample of movies, we came to the following conclusion: aggression is one of the most common categories on television. According to the results of the study, it can be assumed that one of the reasons for the aggressiveness of modern society is the presence of a large amount of negative information in the media, this is due to the fact that a person tends to "absorb" and copy forms of behavior "from the screen", in particular, this applies to children aged up to 12 years old.

The process of globalization, which many times is considered as new world order is affecting all spheres of modern society but also the media. In this paper specifically we will see the impact of globalization because we see changing the media access to global problems in general being listed on these processes. We will see that the greatest difficulties will have small media as such because the process is moving in the direction of creating mega media which thanks to new technology are reaching to deliver news and information at the time of their occurrence through choked the small media. So it is fair to conclude that the rapid economic development and especially the technology have made the world seem "too small" to the human eyes, because for real-time we will communicate with the world with the only one Internet connection, and also all the information are take for the development of events in the four corners of the world and direct from the places when the events happen. Even Albanian space has not left out of this process because the media in the Republic of Albania and the Republic of Kosovo are adapted to the new conditions under the influence of the globalization process. This fact is proven powerful through creating new television packages, written the websites and newspapers in their possession.
