The high quality of products and services is a guarantee of the company’s success in the market. The purpose of our study is to assess the feasibility of developing a new competitive product, taking into account the preferences of consumers. To achieve this, marketing tools aimed at product quality management were used. In the course of the work, a full cycle of marketing research was conducted, including questionnaires, the formation of a portrait of a consumer of products, and economic calculations. Object of study - a large regional enterprise - a center for sales of building materials. The work performed at the junction of two scientific fields (marketing and quality management) provided a synergistic effect in terms of cost reduction when creating a competitive product, and also allowed us to offer original recommendations for improving quality in general. According to the results of marketing research, which consisted in questioning the target audience using the free “Google Forms” service, such characteristics as “assortment” and “appearance” were recognized as the least satisfying consumers in the existing market for facing bricks. Based on the detailed analysis, a new type of product (“Chocolate velvet” brick) was developed that meets the wishes of the target audience of customers. An additional positive effect from the transition of the enterprise to its production in the amount of 91,600 conventional units per month will be an increase in profit, compared to 2017 (942,500 rubles), by 1,1533240 rubles, the expected efficiency of transferring an innovative product to production (profit growth / costs) will be 1.22. Determination of consumer requirements specifies the technological task during the transition to the production of a new type of product. Replacing the production of old-style finishing bricks with the release of a new type of product allows you to create a customized product that is guaranteed to find its customer due to its high customer loyalty

Whey is a high-quality dairy by-product from cheese industry, being an important source of valuable proteins. It is important in human and animal nutrition due to its content in enzymes, hormones, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidant compounds, it has low lactose content, very little or it is free of lipids, but the dehydration (drying) technique must be very well chosen to preserve the quantity and quality of components. The objective of our study was to analyze the possibility of concentrating whey by reverse osmosis and having in view the possibility to preserve most of the biochemical properties of whey. Thus, we made comparative tests for quantitative determination of total protein, lipids, pH and acidity for - raw, skimmed and concentrated whey. The results showed that reverse osmosis is a good, cheap and easy-to-use method in cheese factories to obtain whey with well-preserved components. Most of the farmers from western Romania (especially in Timis county) use whey as ingredient of feed products. Studies from previous years present whey as an ingredient of nutritional supplements for animal feeding plan, as well as an ingredient in supplements for athletes and alternative medicine. There are many technological options for whey processing, but the final option must be very well correlated with the final nutritional purpose. Keywords: whey, feed, human, nutrition

The aim of this work was the investigation of the effect of bedding type on the airborne concentration of bacteria and fungi in broiler houses. The study was performed in two commercial farms (A and B) with different bedding (chopped straw in farm A, sunflower seed hulls in farm B). The determination of the bacteria and fungi’s numbers was performed in the first and the sixth weeks of the production cycle. Both the concentration of the bacteria and fungi showed higher values in the farm A compared with the farm B, especially in the latter period of the production cycle. In both farms, significant differences (P < 0.05) were recorded between the two periods of the determinations. The results of this study suggest that using sunflower seed hulls as bedding leads to lower levels of microbial contamination of the air in broiler houses, comparing with the use of chopped straw.

Zakat becomes part of the obligations of Muslims who must be paid and given to those who are entitled to receive zakat. The distribution of zakat which is intended for the recipient and the amount of zakat is often not recorded accurately. There is a discrepancy between the amount of zakat and the number of recipients of zakat. Then a new breakthrough is needed through the implementation of toral quality management and the application of good governance so that it is expected that all incoming zakat and the number of recipients of zakat can be recorded. This study aims to examine the effect of the implementation of total quality management and the role of good governance on muzakki trust (a study at the Amil Zakat Institute in Batam City). The population in this study is the number of residents of the city of Batam in 2017 amounted to 1,062,250 inhabitants. Determination of the sample using the formula Hair, et al (2010) so that the total sample is 100 respondents. Data analysis using multiple linear regression with SPSS 23. The results of the study can be concluded that the implementation of total quality management has a significant positive effect on muzakki trust, the application of good governance has a significant negative effect on muzakki trust and the implementation of total quality management and the application of good governance simultaneously has a significant positive effect on muzakki trust.

Objective: To test for potential bacterial contamination of the ADD-Vantage system when the components are assembled in various hospital environments. Study Design: One hundred fifty ADD-Vantage units were assembled by three different people in three separate locations within a hospital. Each person assembled ten units per day; the study spanned five days. After 72 hours of incubation, units were inspected for evidence of contamination. Setting: ADD-Vantage units were assembled by a pharmacist in a laminar-flow hood, a pharmacy student using the pharmacy counter, and a nurse at a patient's bedside table. Personnel at each site wore their regular work attire. Each person observed handwashing techniques normally used during routine working hours. Data Extraction: Positive results were sent to the hospital microbiology laboratory for determination of growth type. Results: After 72 hours, none of the systems exhibited microbial growth on visual inspection. No differences in microbial contamination of the ADD-Vantage systems relative to assembly site, day of assembly, or person performing the assembly were observed. The incidence of contamination was calculated at less than seven percent. Conclusions: There is minimal risk of bacterial contamination when ADD-Vantage systems are compounded either on a pharmacy counter or at a patient's bedside. Larger samples must be studied in order to detect differences in the incidence of contamination among assembly sites.
