Abstract Noise spectroscopy and I-V characteristic non-linearity measurement were applied as diagnostic tools in order to characterize the volume and contact quality of positive temperature coefficient (PTC) chip sensors and to predict possible contact failure. Correctly made and stable contacts are crucial for proper sensing. I-V characteristics and time dependences of resistance were measured for studied sensors and, besides the samples with stable resistance value, spike type resistance fluctuation was observed for some samples. These spikes often disappear after about 24 hours of voltage application. Linear I-V characteristics were measured for the samples with stable resistance. The resistance fluctuation of burst noise type was observed for some samples showing the I-V characteristic dependent on the electric field orientation. We have found that the thermistors with high quality contacts had a linear I-V characteristic, the noise spectral density is of 1/f type and the third harmonic index is lower than 60 dB. The samples with poor quality contacts show non-linear I-V characteristics and excess noise is given by superposition of g-r and 1/fn type noises, and the third harmonic index is higher than 60 dB.

The degradation mechanism of ruthenium-based thick film resistors is investigated in accelerated tests under various conditions of humidity, temperature and overload stress. This study shows that the variation of resistance is mainly caused by hydration and dehydration in the conductive componentRuO2: RuO2+xH2O↔RuO2 • xH2O. In addition to measuring resistance, the Third Harmonic Index (THI) is studied as the characteristic which may indicate the degree of various defects in resistors. A strong correlation exists between “the initial THI” and “the variation rate of resistance during an accelerated test”. A resistor which indicates a quite large initial THI shows remarkable variation of resistance, and has scratches and/or foreign substances on the surface of the thick film resistor. As a result, it becomes evident that the initial THI can be used to predict the stability of a resistor in a nondestructive test.

The image obtained in a transmission electron microscope is the two-dimensional projection of a three-dimensional (3D) object. The 3D reconstruction of the object can be calculated from a series of projections by back-projection, but this algorithm assumes that the image is linearly related to a line integral of the object function. However, there are two kinds of contrast in electron microscopy, scattering and phase contrast, of which only the latter is linear with the optical density (OD) in the micrograph. Therefore the OD can be used as a measure of the projection only for thin specimens where phase contrast dominates the image. For thick specimens, where scattering contrast predominates, an exponential absorption law holds, and a logarithm of OD must be used. However, for large thicknesses, the simple exponential law might break down due to multiple and inelastic scattering.

Ease of understanding Accounting Computers in principle is influenced by mastery of Introduction to Accounting in a systematic manner, assuming that it is capable of operating computers properly. To find out the magnitude of the influence in this study taken a sample of introductory Accounting values from a number of first semester 2017 students and the same data sample for students of Computer Accounting (Accurate) courses when they are in the fourth semester 2018. Feasibility until the data is tested by the normality test to find out the distribution of data and by linearity test to obtain linear functions. The data that has been obtained and tested for its feasibility is processed by Linear Regression using SPSS 24. From the results of the research that has been done obtained a regression equation: Y = 67,953 0.35X, which describes each increase in the value of introductory Accounting one unit will affect 0.35 to Computer Accounting value, but in testing the hypothesis that the value of Introduction to Accounting obtained by students does not affect their ability to obtain Computer Accounting values, one of the causes of this is due to the lack of skills of students to operate computers. Keywords: influence, value, ability

The general objective of this research is to discover and analyze empirically the
effect of attitudes toward mathematics learning outcomes, learning habits influence on mathematics learning outcomes, influence attitudes and study habits together towards mathematics learning outcomes. The population covered in this study were junior high school grade students in District VIII Kramat Jati, East Jakarta. The research sample was obtained through random sampling method, the researchers mixed quota subjects in the population so that all subjects are considered equal. The research design used by the correlation technique with three variables consisting of two independent variables,
namely student attitudes and study habits as well as a dependent variable, is mathematics learning outcomes. Data collected by questionnaire technique (variable attitudes and habits students learn) and test techniques (variable learning outcomes). Collected data are then analyzed using correlation and simple regression techniques and correlation and multiple regression. Before the data were analyzed, first performed descriptive statistical analysis and test data requirements (test of normality, linearity test). The results showed that: (1) there is significant influence between students' attitudes and habits towards learning mathematics learning outcomes, with a correlation coefficient of
0.465 and coefficient of determination of 0.216 or 21.6% of student attitude and study habits jointly affect the results of learning mathematics. The resulting regression equation Y = 7932 + 0, 377 X1 + 0, 257 X2. This could mean that the better the attitude of the students then the better the better the result of learning and study habits, the higher the results of studying mathematics.

The purpose of this study is to test partially and simultaneously the influence of motivation and work environment on the performance of state civil apparatus in the Office of Integrated Service Investment and Industry of Padang Pariaman Regency, data collected by spreading the questionnaire directly. Test of research instrument used is test of validity and reliability test. The classical assumption test used is normality test, linearity test, multicollinearity test, and heteroscedasticity test. As for hypothesis test used t test and test f. The analytical method used to test the effect of motivation and work environment on the performance of civil state apparatus is multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS. The result of the research shows that there is a significant influence between the working environment on the performance of civil apparatus of the State. Simultaneously or jointly motivation and work environment significantly influence the performance of civil apparatus of the State. Based on the research, it can be concluded that motivation has a significant effect on the performance of the State Civil Apparatus on the Integrated Service and Investment Service Department (DPMPTP) of Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. The work environment has a significant effect on the performance of the State Civil Apparatus on the Integrated Service and Industrial Service Investment Service (DPMPTP) of Padang Kabupaten Pariaman. Morality and work environment have a significant effect on the performance of State Civil Apparatus at the Department of Investment of Integrated Services and Industry (DPMPTP) of Kabupaten Padang Pariaman.

This research is motivated by customer satisfaction which is a customer action to save. The purpose of this study was to determine the ef ect of location, quality of savings products, service quality on customer satisfaction. In this study using primary data collected by explanatory research methods and sample collection techniques in the form of accidental sampling of BMT customers Adzkiyah Khidmatul Ummah using a questionnaire with a likert skla in BMT Adzkiyah Khidmatul Ummah in Metro City. Testing the instrument requirements used include validity, reliability testing. Requirements analysis using normality test, linearity test, homogeneity test. And analysis tools using multiple linear regression with partial test (t test), simultaneous test (f test), coef icient of determination test (R2). As testing requirements analysis and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of research using multiple linear regression analysis obtained location influences customer satisfaction, the quality of savings products does not af ect customer satisfaction, and service quality influences customer satisfaction.

For resolving the problem that power filter cannot work normally because TCR (thyristor controlled reactor) generates extra third harmonic current under asymmetrical voltage, the paper proposes the estimation method of current capacity that TCR generates extra third harmonic current under asymmetrical voltage. Considering extra third harmonic current under asymmetrical voltage, Optimum method based on genetic algorithm is used to design the parameters of power filter. With reactive power compensation and harmonic suppression project of a steel mill as example, the proposed method is simulated by Matlab. Simulation results show optimized power filter can eliminate extra third harmonic current effects under asymmetrical voltage, meet the requirement of reactive power compensation, reduce harmonics current that load injects into system, and guarantee the power filter safe operation under asymmetrical voltage.
