Under the conditions of today’s megarisks, the general level of instability of the world economy is only rising, the number of unprofitable organizations with overdue debts increases, and this creates additional threats to financial security of the states. In this regard, the presented research results have scientific and applied importance for risk management of financial security of economic entities on the basis of the suggested control and analytical concept. The suggested concept includes; monitoring, diagnostics, prevention of crisis situations, including bankruptcy, corporate fraud or financial irregularities in the economy. Accounting for the specifics of economic entities in the analysis, diagnostics and control of their activities is aimed at developing an effective management system for corporate fraud and bankruptcy prevention. The conceptual principles of information and analytical support, improved methods used in analyzing, evaluating and monitoring financial security contribute to the development of this methodology for economic analysis and control, ensuring their effectiveness and transparency. The comprehensive toolkit offered here for diagnosing financial security allows identifying the areas of increased bankruptcy risks, fraudulent actions or ineffective business management; unify the control process, thereby reducing labor intensity and improving the quality of control measures.

Abstract Background Nursing homes provide long-term care and have residential-oriented hospitalizations characterized by medical, nursing and social-care treatments for a typically geriatric population. In the current emergency phase, the problem of infections in residential structures for the elderly is taking on considerable importance in relation to the significant prevalence rates of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Safety improvement strategies Prevention and control measures for severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 infection in nursing homes should be planned before a possible outbreak of COVID-19 occurs and should be intensified during any exacerbation of the same. Each facility should identify a properly trained contact person—also external—for the prevention and control of infections, who can refer to a multidisciplinary support committee and who is in close contact with the local health authorities. The contact person should collaborate with professionals in order to prepare a prevention and intervention plan that considers national provisions and scientific evidence, the requirements for reporting patients with symptoms compatible with COVID-19 and the indications for the management of suspected, probable or confirmed cases of COVID-19. Discussion Adequate risk management in residential structures implies the establishment of a coordination committee with dedicated staff, the implementation of a surveillance program for the rapid recognition of the outbreaks, the identification of suitable premises and equipment, the application of universal precautions, the adaptation of care plans to reduce the possibility of contagion among residents and the protection of operators and staff training initiatives.

Based on the comprehensive analyses of many risk factors leading to accidents in immersed tunnel engineering, it is concluded that the risk factors leading to accidents in immersed tunnel engineering are very large and must be paid attention to in all aspects at all stages of the project. This paper classifies and identifies the risk factors in immersed tunnel engineering by investigating and visiting the relevant investigation, design and construction units of immersed tunnel, and then puts forward prevention and control measures to provide theoretical basis for the prevention of risk factors in Immersed Tunnel Engineering in the future and the risk management of the whole project.

An option to change partially or completely conventional chemical methods is a biotechnological process. It enables the development of environmentally friendly and innovative means. The safety of this process has not been fully examined, thus, the lack of awareness about risk management is a great concern. This work aims to elucidate the importance of recognizing, assessing, and controlling potential risks, and developing appropriate risk management to develop bioprocesses safely. For this purpose, qualitative research was carried out through scientific studies and current legislation. Safe development of biotechnological procedures allows for occupational safety throughout the processes. It was observed that control measures should be adopted to obtain a safe work environment for everyone. These measures can be carried out through anticipation, recognition, assessment, and control of existing risks or that may exist in the process. Also, it was found that the involvement of all adequate risk management is fundamental. Therefore, biotechnological processes must be developed safely for workers, the environment, and society.

Background: Investigating the influence of various proactive factors on reactive indices in the chemical industries can result in providing preventive and control measures in these industries. This study was designed and conducted to measure the relationship between reactive and proactive safety indices in the chemical industry. Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted in 2018 in 12 chemical industries. The study data were associated with a period of 5 years (2013-2017). Study data has been analyzed based on factor analysis using analytical software IBM SPSS AMOS v. 22.0. χ2 / df, RMSEA, CFI, NFI, and NNFA (TLI) indices were used to evaluate the model's goodness fit in this study. Results: The mean reactive indices of recurrence coefficient and accident severity in this study was 14.15(18.32) and 182.112(10.50) days, respectively. The exploratory factor analysis results determined that 16 indicator variables were categorized into 4 groups of proactive indices, including safety training, risk management, control of unsafe situations, and unsafe acts. Analyzing the confirmatory factor additionally confirmed that there is a significant relationship between the two groups of reactive and proactive indices in this study(P <0.05), and the goodness of model fit was also recognized appropriate (RMSEA = 0.055). Conclusion: This study's findings approved that the proactive indices affect the incidence and severity of accidents as safety reactive indices in the chemical industries. Also, the risk management proactive index and insecurity conditions were more effective than other indices.

Dengue fever is a painful mosquito-borne infection caused by different types of virus in various localities of the world. There is no particular medicine or vaccine to treat person suffering from dengue fever. Dengue viruses are transmitted by the bite of female Aedes (Ae) mosquitoes. Dengue fever viruses are mainly transmitted by Aedes which can be active in tropical or subtropical climates. Aedes Aegypti is the key step to avoid infection transmission to save millions of people in all over the world. This paper provides a standard guideline in the planning of dengue prevention and control measures. At the same time gives the priorities including clinical management and hospitalized dengue patients have to address essentially.

Introduction. The article emphasizes that the current features of the implementation of foreign economic activity require consideration of two factors that are contradictory to each other. In particular, on the one hand, the growth of external threats is forcing the governments of many countries to tighten control measures when crossing the state border of goods and commercial vehicles. On the other hand, according to international conventions and agreements (Kyoto Convention, WMO Framework Standards for Security, WTO Facilitation Agreement), measures to reduce the interference of regulatory authorities in the operational activities of economic operators are envisaged. In this context, the use of risk-oriented customs control tools, which allow simplifying business without reducing the level of national security, is becoming especially important. Purpose. The purpose of the article is to generalize and systematize foreign and domestic approaches to simplification of customs procedures through the use of risk-oriented instruments of customs control, as well as to develop their own proposals for simplification of foreign trade entities in the domestic regulatory field by using subject-oriented criteria. Results. The authors analyzed the provisions of the International Convention on the Simplification and Harmonization of Customs Procedures, the Framework Standards for Security and Facilitation of International Trade, the WTO Agreement on Trade Facilitation, which are provided for significant simplification of international trade procedures by reducing the share of customs inspections and controls. Сustoms security, customs clearance of goods and vehicles on the territory of the subjects of foreign economic activity or in another place permitted by the customs, without the direct participation of customs officials. These measures are based on the widespread use of risk-oriented instruments of customs control. It is noted that some of the provisions of international conventions and agreements on the use of risk-oriented instruments of customs control and simplification of economic operators have been implemented in domestic customs legislation, namely Art. 320 of the Customs Code of Ukraine introduced selective customs control, it is determined that the forms and scope of control sufficient to ensure compliance with legislation on state customs and international treaties of Ukraine in customs clearance are selected by customs (customs posts) based on the results of risk management. Conclusion. The study analyzes the peculiarities of the customs risk management system application in customs control in Ukraine, and offers proposals for the use of subject-oriented criteria of customs control as a simplification for honest economic operators to reduce the selectivity of risk profiles ASUR.
